1)click the three parts of the bed, noting the contents of the piece of paper.
2)click the bed pieces in reverse order, to put them back down.
3)Click the tail of the dog, and take the key within and use it to open the drawer, getting the screwdriver. Also, click elsewhere on the dog to lift it up for another piece of paper.
4)Open the bottom right drawer on the bed, and make it look like the calander. You may have to click on individual squares to rotate them, as well as moving them in the grid.
5)take the item below it, and make a note of the note below it. It is the major clue for the code.
6)Moving right, click on the right painting. You need to get all the dots flattened. Just keep at it, using the arrows to shift those rows appropriately. Work toward getting an L shape in a corner.
7)Take the items, and check under the cushions for another paper.
8)moving right again, take the nub protruding from the third red pillar. Also, move to the left of that, getting a DVD ROM from amidst the other dvds. Also, look at the note ontop of some more DVDs to the left, and under the two bears on the floor.
9)In the drawer under the TV, there's a hammer and Crowbar. Take them.
10)moving right again, you're at the computer. Solve the box puzzle to the bottom left of the computer by "popping" them all out at once. i suggest mapping what each one does.
11)take the dvd and click again, revealing a secret compartment with a key.
12)Use the two keys in your inventory to open two of the three drawers, and the screwdriver to open the computer.
13)Take a wire and read the note from the computer.
14) using the hammer, open the middle drawer and punch a hole in the back, taking a wire from the hole.
15)also, take the battery from in between the two leftmost struts of the monitor. Put both batteries in the keyboard.
16)going back to the first screen, pry off the board with your crowbar, and attach the handle in your inventory.
17)Now, click the briefcase on the left bottom drawer. Using the codes from the pieces of paper, you can figure out the code If you need more help

the code if based on two things. the element determines the order, and which letter to use for each word. to convert from letters to numbers, run diagonally left-up on your keyboard from the letter to see which number it corresponds to

18)Take the key and cable within.
19)go to the TV. Combine one of your cables with the DVD player, and one to the TV. Turn them both on.
20)open the dvd player by clicking on the tray. Put in the dvd rom. close it. Click the red button. Then remove it.
21) go back to the computer. Use your new key to open the top drawer. You should get a deck of cards and a razor.
22) While you're here, use the cable on the tower of the computer. Push the power button. You'll come back to this later.
23) go back to the paintings. Use your razor on the left one. Then turn off the lights, and return.
24) now, go to the computer again. click the monitor, and type in what you saw, except with a K before the second word, and click OK twice.
25)Now, go back to the computer, install the DVD drive in the computer by dragging it there. Then click the door to open it, and put your burned DVD in it.
26)Getting closer to the end now. Go back to the room with the paintings. Take the deck of cards, and put them on the table. Figure out which four are out of order by

Starting with the first card, write out the cards until you reach it again. Then start a new row under it, starting with that card. You should end up with four near-identical rows. Find where the mixed up cards are, and there should be one of each suit.

This is the code to the card briefcase in the computer room.
27) open the briefcase and take the weights and black light flashlight.
28) now the weight puzzle. Set your weights on the platform to the right of it. Then click it. Given that the smallest weight is 1, map all the possible combinations, 0-24, to a number.
29)now, turn the lights off, and take your black light to the plaque underneath the painting you slashed. These numbers tell you which six of the symbols you just mapped to look for, and press in that order.
30)I would suggest taking a screenshot of the image from the TV, and the computer, as references here, which can be done by hitting the prt scrn button, then opening paint, and clicking paste. Go to the main door, now, and map the corresponding colored symbol, to the door symbols, via the TV, and you're out.

I can't turn right or left nor click the tail on the dog...it just lifts up!!!!

My dog just goes up and down too. And what do you mean by the right hand drawer under the bed? There's nothing there to make it look like the calendar!! Have no squares to rotate or anything.

I like the looks of this game...I never saw it before because it is over 3 years old...But like hera and fluffy, I can't move to another screen, and ...what calendar???
Anybody else here now?

i managed to move to other screen by clicking all over blindly, however its too hard, i decided not to play this

I understand the bottom right drawer puzzle but it is next to impossible to solve without any reference...I have opened the drawer w/key from dog and have sd...nothing else works!

You can move to another screen by clicking and dragging.

The picture puzzle under the bed should match the picture on the calendar hanging on the wall.

TY @egle...I did what you said and also found other rooms...but no way to predict it...it just happens when you click maniacally...LOL
I give up as well, even with WT it is not worth the headache!!!And I did find the calendar for reference and it is, for me, impossible!!!
Good luck anyone who tackles it!!!

TY @orangeicecube...I never would have figured out the navigation...I have not seen it in any game before...still, good luck!

I gave up on this game when I realized that the puzzle under the bed is like a rubik's cube. lol

i worked on the cat/calendar puzzle for a ridiculously long time and got tantalizingly close, only to mess it up again. i'll try again tomorrow - if anyone has any hints for solving it, pleeeeze share!

@zoz: I have the same problem too! lol,,

well, i guess i cant do this, it's too hard for me..

this game definitely has some bugs. I finally got the cat puzzle (use this site: http://www.novelgames.com/gametips/details.php?id=50), but then one of my batteries disappeared and the DVD-RAM drive disappeared!
Also, the walkthrough omits some things and takes other things out of order. Anyway, there is no new Minoto so I guess I'll try this one more time...

omg! finally out! one day i'll write a "real" wt if anyone is still interested...

I admire your persistence @zoz! Congrats for solving the cat puzzle and the rest of the game!!
I started working on the cats a few days ago, but always ended up with two tiles that needed to switch places, and gave it a rest. Thanks to your link, I might be able to solve it. Working until late tonight, but hopefully i'll have some time for it tomorrow.

OK, It's A Bit Ambitious But I'm Going To Try It Anyway - Through
plz excuse typos or short-cuts as I'm still in a cast

Part 1
(To navigate from one scene to the next, you must click and drag the screen right or left)

- lift pillow, blanket and mattress and check clue note underneath. You chemists out there will immediately recognize Li as the symbol for lithium. You're on the right track.
- click on dog and check the clue note beneath. Now click his tail and remove the "key" (actually looks more like a drawer handle, but we'll call it a key) from his mouth.
- drag this key to the drawer above the pillow and take the screwdriver.
- Open the right drawer under the bed. Now the fun begins!!!
Your task is to make the puzzle look like the picture on the wall calender that is two scenes to the left or right. You can rotate the individual pieces if you need to by clicking on them. To move the pieces you click the arrows above or beside each row or column, but each arrow moves the entire row or column, rather than an individual piece.
The best (oh, OK, the only ) way I found to solve this diabolical puzzle is with the help of the website http://www.novelgames.com/gametips/details.php?id=50)
Until I found that site, the situation seemed hopeless.
- So, now that you've solved the cat puzzle, you can take the "key" from the drawer and look at the major clue. You can also give yourself a high five! But you can't close the game and come back to it because there is no way to save your progress (a big drawback, imho).

Lucky for me, though, I can stop and come back to this later, because I don't think that anyone other than Ellie is playing it at this point!

Moving Right Along - Through
Part 2

- Move right, to the scene with the desk and computer.
- Using the "key" from the cat puzzle drawer, you can open the bottom drawer of the desk, but you're not ready for that puzzle yet, so leave it for now.
- Use the screwdriver, remove the side of the computer cpu.
- check the clue card inside (this should be the fourth one you've found).
- take the wire with a red band from inside the cpu (it is near the bottom).
- you can close the cover now, if you like.
- take the battery from between the two leftmost struts of the monitor.
- Time to solve another puzzle!!! This one is on top of the box to the left of the computer desk. The idea is to press the keys until they are all "popped" (in the words of Anonymous) or until they each have a little square in the middle. Anonymous suggests (and I do, too) that you map what each key does (and, like all the puzzles this varies from game to game).
- For example: Button one "pops" button five; button two "pops" button seven; button three "unpops" button five, etc.
- Once all the buttons are popped, you can take a DVD-RAM (a DVD drive) and, under a false bottom inside the box, another key
- Use the key on the second drawer of the desk. Inside is a scale with weights that you're not quite ready for.
(Random note: In this scene you can move the stool in and out from under the desk and you can also raise and lower the stool using the lever on the side. I never found any usefulness in either observation)

- Go right to the TV and bookcase scene
- there is a little peg in the third brick down on the right side of the bookcase. This is battery number two.
- to the left of this column of bricks you can take a DVD-ROM from the shorter row of DVDs.
- click on the two animals (Anonymous claims they are bears) on the floor and check the clue note beneath them.
- On top of the DVDs on the left side is the sixth and final clue note
- open the drawer under the TV and take the crowbar and the hammer.

- Go back to the computer and desk scene.
- Place the batteries (2) in the keyboard.
- Open the middle drawer and use the hammer to knock a hole in the back of the drawer. Take the wire with a beige band.

- Return to the TV/bookcase scene.
- Use the wire with the beige band on the TV, and the wire with the red band on the DVD player.
- press the power buttons on the TV and DVD player to turn them on.
- Open the DVD drawer and put the DVD (from the grey box) inside, then close the drawer.
- Press the red button (second from left) and you'll hear a tone. Now open the drawer and take the DVD.

Part 3

Now it's time to tackle the puzzle that all the clue notes refer to.

- You have six notes that should read:
Li - hack
He - ask
H - eat
B - sleep
C - remove
Be - speak

To solve this puzzle and get the code for the briefcase which is in the left drawer under the bed:

1. Google the periodic table of the elements and find the atomic number for each symbol (for example, H is hydrogen which has an atomic weight of 1)
2. Put the notes in order from lowest to highest atomic number
3. For each note, use the atomic number to choose a letter from the word below the chemical symbol. For example: H has an atomic number of 1. The first (#1) letter in the word on the "H" card is "e". So, the first letter of the code solution is "e".

SPOILER FOLLOWS

H=1, 1st letter of "eat" is E
He=2, 2nd letter of "ask" is S
Li=3, 3rd letter of "hack" is C
Be=4, 4th letter of "speak" is A
B=5, 5th letter of "sleep" is P
C=6, 6th letter of "remove is E

END SPOILER

Ok, so now you have a word. But the code on the briefcase consists of six numbers
Remember the major clue ?
abcde ---> 15333

4. Look at your keyboard. Above and left of each letter is a number. Above the A is a 1, above the B is a 5, etc.
5. Take the six letter code derived from the clue notes and convert them to numbers using your keyboard.
6. Enter the resulting number on the briefcase keypad.

SPOILER FOLLOWS

323103

END SPOILER

- Take the wire with the green band and the key from the briefcase.

Are We Having Fun Yet???

Thank you @zoz!!! Amazing work with that cast still on (even without the cast i'd have been impressed)! I'll give this game another go now, and I'm sure I'll need your help.

Yay! Solved the cat puzzle!! Thank you!!

Solved a couple of more things :) Need to take a break now because of the nice weather here, but will come back for sure.

OK, Got A Good Night's Rest And Back For Another Round - Through
Part 4

-Go back to the computer scene
- Use the wire with the green band to hook up the computer
- Drag the DVD-RAM drive to the front of the cpu and turn the computer on
- Use the key on the top drawer and take the deck of playing cards and the cutter
- Go to the painting above the couch (the one on the left) and slice it with the cutter
_ Go back to the first scene and turn off the light, then return to the painting
- There should be two words there, but the clue is not yet complete. Turn the light back on; you'll return to the painting later.

- Take the deck of playing cards and put them on the table in front of the sofa
- The cards are ordered by face value: A 9 4 Q 7 2... etc for four repetitions. However, one card in each suit is out of order - make a note of these - in my game the cards were 6 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds, and Jack of Clubs (the cards are different for every game).
- Go back to the computer and look in the bottom desk drawer. Enter the appropriate cards on the top of the box and take the black light
Note: Anonymous says there are weights in the box as well, but the weights have always been in the second drawer with the scale in every game I've played.

Ready for another puzzle?

- Go to the box above the sofa on the right. Solving this one is pretty much trial and error. The object is to change all the squares to the darker shade. Anonymous says to aim for getting down to just one L-shape in a corner. Once you have that, you can click on the corner piece and finish the puzzle.
- Open the box and take the key and the piece of the painting
- Add the painting piece to the painting, and go turn out the lights;
Aha! What a difference one letter makes!
- Go to the computer and click on the monitor. Enter the words from the painting (no spaces) and click OK twice.
- now you can put the DVD in the drive and view colored symbols on the screen.
- Make a note (or a screen shot) of these.

I Can't Believe I Just Typed In The Ending And Lost It Before I Could Post It - Through
Part 5

So, because my arm hurts, I'm going to take a shortcut and copy/paste what Anonymous wrote with some comments (I really had a good part 5 WT written :(((

My comments are in italics

26)Getting closer to the end now. Go back to the room with the paintings. Take the deck of cards, and put them on the table. Figure out which four are out of order by

Starting with the first card, write out the cards until you reach it again. Then start a new row under it, starting with that card. You should end up with four near-identical rows. Find where the mixed up cards are, and there should be one of each suit.

This is the code to the card briefcase in the computer room.
in the bottom desk drawer

27) open the briefcase and take the weights and black light flashlight.
In every game I played, the weights were in the drawer with the scale. The only thing in the bottom drawer briefcase was the black light.

28) now the weight puzzle. Set your weights on the platform to the right of it. Then click it.
The weights are already there, above the scale.
Given that the smallest weight is 1, map all the possible combinations, 0-24, to a number.
The weights are, from left to right, 1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 8. So, to get a symbol for, say, 14 you would place the 2, 4, and 8 on the scale. Don't forget to map the zero!

29)now, turn the lights off, and take your black light to the plaque underneath the painting you slashed. These numbers tell you which six of the symbols you just mapped to look for, and press in that order.
So take these numbers, in order, back to the computer screen and find the symbol that corresponds to each number according to your work with the scale and weights. Assign a number, 1-6, to individual spots on a five x five grid. Or, you can do as anonymous suggests :
30)I would suggest taking a screenshot of the image from the TV, and the computer, as references here, which can be done by hitting the prt scrn button, then opening paint, and clicking paste.
Go to the TV and note the symbols, in order from 1 to 6, in the appropriate sections of the five x five grid.
Go to the main door, now, and map the corresponding colored symbol, to the door symbols, via the TV,
In other words, press the corresponding symbols on the door keypad in order.
Because I wrote my walkthrough in a different sequence than Anonymous, I must add here that you must use the crowbar to remove the piece of wood from the bottom of the door and place the key/door handle on the door.

and you're out.

SO GET OUTTA HERE !!!

I'm OUT!!! Totally thanks to you zoz! I would never have "looked at the keyboard" for the abcde code, I didn't find the DVD or the beige wire, and the colored puzzle puzzled me.

Thanks again for your "It's A Bit Ambitious But I'm Going To Try It Anyway - Through, Moving Right Along - Through, Fun and Games, OK, Got A Good Night's Rest And Back For Another Round - Through, I Can't Believe I Just Typed In The Ending And Lost It Before I Could Post It - Through"!! :D (and I'm really sorry about that "Lost It"-part).

yw @Ellie! I realize it's a bit daft to write a walkthrough for a game that almost no one else is playing. However, I found this game to have quite a few unique challenges, and the WT by Anonymous I found to be confusing in several places. If I could help just one person, I'm glad it was you!

how unlucky for me. almost finished the game till i ENCOUNTERED a bug in the game, which does not allow me to use the wire on PC.
been playing this one for 2:30 hours...

:((

out, after 3 hours 15 minutes and 7 seconds....

i am proud of myself! : )

oh forgot to tell about the bug. came out with the green wire still in my inventory. LOL

or did it get used as i put the flashlight in place??
hmm, dunno and dont care!

especial thanks @zoz- for the case code and cards.

@Zania, I too couldn't use the wire in the proper way on the computer, and still had it in my inventory when I escaped. So, kind of a harmless bug lol.
Congrats to escaping!

       Anonymous  10/16/13, 2:17 AM

Much harder than it looks! Can't get last 2 pieces of cat puzzle in place. Looks an amazing walkthrough Zoz but don't think I've enough time for this game.

Nice WT Zoz
hate the game way too difficult navigationb
I am not playing.
