The Thief 2 - Prison Walkthrough:

1. talk to the guard a few times
2. you can get the cup
3. then the bread
4. move spoon
5. talk to guard again.. =S
6. click on nail on poster abovw the table
7. it's at the cell door now, drag it to the lock
8. talk to te guard.. again
9. when he's says something about light... go to that book thingy under the window
10. Get the pencil.. when you click it, it ends up in de closet
11. get candle and maches en light the candle
12. Talk to guard again a few time.. (click a couple of options when you do)
13.give mousse the cheece
14. go to guard AGAIN
15. Get knife
16. get the bed stuff out of the closet and drag the knife.. MONEY!!
17. Call for the guard and drag money to him.. FREEDOM!!!

Well, the first scene is the introdution, you have to talk, click on two man several times, then drag the matches, box of something (I forgot) to the man of the right, then, drag the cobweb to the man on the left. You can play this game now. I think this police is so bad, he want money, not job.

First you have a conversation between the two..and once u get to .."Are u greedy".u will notice no more dialogue..at that time drag the matches and the cigarettes to the bum looking guy..go through more dialogue and then drag spider to the nice dressed guy.

You have to talk to the guard 3 times in total..

Once to say.."Give me the key"..
then another time to say..
"Tell me a joke"..

then the next time

Tell me a joke again..and he says..:
oh stop bothering me with this stuff..time to eat lunch"..

Then at that time u can grab cup then bread..it goes right to plate..

Well i spoke to him three times...once to say give me key...tell me joke..and then again to tell me joke..talk to the gaurd once more..he will say its lunch time

did u talk to gaurd again and him mention...trying picking the lock..then u will see a nail on the floor...then u bug him till u can get pencil. or try pencil..i wa able to pick it up but not sure if it was before i bugged him again or not..

from there bug him again..and he will mention light..light the candle..u have to drag the items..together..the candle will appear on the safe..with note its there that u light it..with matches

Yes, I bugged the guard again, got the pencil, opened the book, lit the candle, then I dragged the pencil to the book. Should I not have dragged the pencil to the book?

I'm out..!..still here if u need it..the game is a bit buggy ok..so be patient..took me a few clicks to be able to grab knife..then it will appear on the bed..cut blankets by dragging it..

then go around the room til u are facing the door again and summon gaurd...drag money to him..

dont ask him anything..just drag money to him..and ur out..:D

Yeah, I can't get the candle & matches w/o dragging the pencil to the book! HOWEVER, the guard keeps saying the same response over & over: "In the course of human evolution, the size of the brain has been more than tripled! Think!" and I still can't get the damned knife!!!! >:[

You get more out of him if u get a joke from him...if not that try asking for key again..at one point he'll say..between two responses..of either aksing for key or joke..he will say " something about being able to accomplish anything..".

.did u get cheeze..?

its after lighting candle..then write in book..or visa versa..then u can get the cheeze..

keep bugging him between items that u can get..the knife is the last thing and its after he says something about being able to accomplish anything..

1. Ask the guard to have the key,
ask him to tell a joke twice
2. Click on the cup
3. Get the bread from safe
4.Click and drag the spoon
5.Ask the guard for a joke twice
6. Click on the nail on the top right corner
7. Click and drag the nail to the lock
8.Ask for a joke twice from the guard
9.Go to the notebook under the window and click on it so it opens
10.Click on the pencil
11.Click on the pencil that is inside the safe and drag it to the open notebook
12.Ask the guard for a joke twice
13.Click and drag the cheese to drop directly on the mouse
14.Ask for a joke twice
15.Click on the bed stuff in the safe
16.Click on the knife
17. Click and drag the knife to the bed stuff
18. Call the guard again, but don't talk to him
19. Drag the money to the guard
20. Be proud and happy and look at the business guy's happy expression

Haha... if you right click in the game and click 'Play', it takes you all the way to the end scene of the game...
