what the hell are you supposed to do...??
you do need to turn pop-up blocker off to be able to play game and have javascript.If you don't you may get stuck half way through (like I did) I played this awhile back...if i remember right you have to click on the books that are sitting on the desk (to the right) they will give you good info on the game. Says IE is best to use to play game, other wise broken links. This is a very long and spooky game. Remember to save. It will be dark and difficult to navigate until the power is turned on for the house (in passage way to basement?). Find key in bathroom to get down stairs. Game is kind of in stages, must do things else where and return to rooms to find things. some hidden doors ways down stairs. Some books hold clues, some take you to other web sites- find special glasses during play to know which books hold clues. Ending is a bit weak, but it is a Very Good game otherwise.. is worth the all effort.
This game is one of the most great game i ever played on the net !! stange, beautiful graphics, lovely story ... fantastic game and wonderful music ! just try it, but it's quite hard
