The most practical approach to this game takes a bit of time, but does eventually pay off. You find four items that are not the monster's favorite, and then test the other items one by one with the ones he doesn't like to see any of them are his favorites. Sometimes, this method takes a bit more time than others, because the monster's favorites change with each game. After a time, you will find the right combo.
