All I get is a picture of a house with the rest of the screen black. Am I missing something or is there a bug?
Same here.It's notworking.
First, click near the top of the ceiling in the center to start.
It is so simple:P
Just click one time on picture, then tap TAB on keybord, the hiperlink will be highlited or only pointed with thick line, click it and u will get next picture, do it to the end:P
If it's so simple, can you write a walkthrough on how to escape ;)
OK WHEN U IN HALL WAY. u can either move forward or back. hand shows up either top or bottom of screen. its a maze. just find your way out. i cant do a walk through. am on dial up for a week.
looks pretty boring the levels i did
So far I got it ... Upstairs I got stuck ...
I'm still getting just the pic of the house. What am I missing? I've tried what people have said to no avail.
I guess you have to wait, until the lettets enter appear :)
There are numerous HTML/JavaScript bugs in this game.
document.layers has no properties is what Firefox is saying about the first page, which is why the animated image doesn't work. No wonder. The myIMG object referred to in the script is a paragraph ( p ), NOT a layer...
And your hyperlink on this page that gets the game started has a z-index of 0, while the image over it has a z-index of 2. Guess which one isn't gonna show up?
So we manually go to the next page...
And it doesn't work here, either. A quick look at View Source reveals that the coordinate list in the area tag is done wrong. All coordinates in a coordinate list are comma-separated. The space in there just gets the whole list thrown out. Also: the way you code your hrefs ensures that no one will ever get to the next page. Do not link to your pages like this: ./s02.html. If all the pages are in the same subdirectory, just link it like this: s02.html.
Go back and fix your HTML, then ask us to play this again.
Okay, it looks like once you get to s01.html, things work as expected. I had to engage a little tweak on this Linux box to get things working, but the game isn't as buggy as I thought.
If the author would like, I will send him the revised HTML for the opening page, it will now work on all browsers. (You almost had that right, too!)
That is totally weird
