Got a lot of notes, - i wish i knew japanese. Also need batteries for the flashlight. Anyone found any of the codes? And how can you use the sodacan?

This really is a mystery room. Unless you know japanese i guess....

Found notes in Japanese in trash can, under pillow, and desk. Key on computer, opens desk drawer. Got can, screwdriver from desk. Used screwdriver on wall hanging next to desk to get flashlight. Now I'm stuck

the soda can is the battery

with the flashlight i got the note from under the bed but im stuck now

Got a key from the safe

does any 1 know the code. i know u have 2 use the japanese witing off the note with the numbers off the pc but i cant do it lol

Use the note that can be compared with the numbers on the computerscreen. Find the different signs on the other notes and you can figure out the numbers

Can't figure out the code for the door though. Think you have to use the note without ? to figure out how to put in the right numbers on the note with the ?. But i can't see how the system works....

Do you want the code for the safe?

YES YES please

Safecode: 8634

how do you compare the note that matches the computer screen to the other note? i tried adding the symbols together (the note with 4 stars and 4 ?), but that was a no go. Also, the symbol that looks like a reversed j and a 1 matches two different numbers, so that has to be wrong.

Can't figure out the code for the door either...... think it's very confusing.

Hmmm.... have to go now. Still haven't figured out the code for the door...

That safecode didn't work for me. Perhaps it's different in every game? If so I'm screwed haha. Anyone else playing?

Black-star means "Shift it right",
white-star means "Shift it left".

Safecode is always same.

i must be stupid. still stuck.

I give up. Check back later to see if anyone's got more.

Knowledge of the language is important for this game unfortunately.
safe: 8634
door: 4251

Thanks for the code, but I don't understand the shift left and shift right method. I noticed the one with three rows, if you look up the symbol on the left, and go the corresponding number of places you get the symbol on the right. So I see how you get black star is right, and white star is left, but when I apply this to the paper with four rows, looking up the symbol next to the star for the number of places to shift, and then getting the number by looking that number of places away from the other symbol, I get 1423 not the code for the door. Is this used by the symbols on the first note (the one for the safe?) After the first 4 symbols on that note, the others are not found on anything, so I guessed that they said something like, 8634 is the safe code, but maybe the other symbols are instructions for the door? Also, concerning looking up the code, I tried variations on shifting, as well as which symbol is the look up and which is the shifting symbol. None of the other combo's make sense.

Can you explain how you got the door code? I hope it wasn't just translation.

I got the same as jdyerjdyer..anyone wanna explain the codes? thank you though, by the way! :)

No. Language is not important. All clues are given.
First 4 symbols on memo in rightside of battery are a clue to open safe.
All you need is only to find out symbols :(

See 51symbols in matrix on memo.
ら な☆?
shift な left 4times you get ら.
ら=な☆4
and so on.

You're very clever Xenon. Makes sense now. Thanks :)

Walkthrough:

1. Click on computer and get key from keyboard.

2. Go back and get the note from trashcan.

3. Go left once and open the bottom drawer with the key to get a note.

4. Close the drawer and open the one on top of it to get battery.

5. Close the drawer and open the top left drawer to get a screw driver.

6. Zoom out and click the box on the wall.

7. Open with the screwdriver and get the flashlight.

8. Open the flashlight with the screwdriver and put the battery in it.

9. Zoom out and go left.

10. Click on the pillow on the bed to get a note.

11. Zoom out and click under the bed you will see a note but can't get it. Click on the flashlight and point to the note and you will get it.

12. Zoom out and click on the safe. Write in the code 8634. The safe will open and you will get a key.

13. Zoom out and go right twice back to the door.
Go to the door and write in the code 4251.

14. And congrats you escaped!(:

Thanks Xenon, I see it now. I thought it was still using the numbers from the computer, but the code for the door is how many spaces apart the symbols are using the direction indicated by the stars. Still think this is a little obscure, but maybe if I understood Japanese, then I would have had a hint to help me.

when I clicked somewhere in screen (don't know where) suddenly I had al the items in my inventory and when I looked around to fin stuff every place where you people found stuff was empty..?
too bad I can't read japanese because I didn't understand anything of those notes:P
