i am hopelessly stuck on the combination on the door. i have tried every possibility that i can come up with. the posts and walkthrough arent helping me understand it either. can someone please enlighten me to the combination???
nvm...i got it. anyone else stuck at this point....the up and down lines in the circles....count clockwise starting at the top with the number zero. hope that helps.
I followed the walkthroughs. Picked up everthing and went into every room up to the point of looking in the little square in the first room to see the code to open the door. I still don't see a "door" to put the code into. And I have been in every room that that the walkthroughs mention.
were are the magnifying glass and big cement ball as the only things I can find in that room are gunpowder wine bottle an were it says something down well which you can't get?

i still cant figure out what to do with the water wheel... So far, i have a metal chain and a metal bar in the holes. also, what the heck is going on with the compass and what am i suppose to do????
Great game. I got stuck a few times but i beat it. Normally i hat escape the room games but i like this one. can't wait for the next one.

You must find a wooden plank and make some glue in order to fix the water wheel.

Jess's walkthrough should inform you on how to find the code for the combination:
You must get the memo and the crystal out of the locked box in the corner. Read the memo for later. You will also notice a door with several combination locks. Go back to 1st room and place crystal in the line of light from magnifying glass. Then click on the wall where the light shines.
This is the clue to opening the door in the messy room. I found it helps to take a screen shot here to refer back to or write it down. The combination changes for each game played.
17. Go back to the door in the room with the hospital bed. Refer to your screen shot/ drawing. The outer circle (largest) is the 3rd one down, the next 2nd, then 1st, then 4th, then inner circle (smallest) 5th down. The marks on the rings show what positions each lock needs to be turned to. For example, it could be 5,0,7,4,1.

I am completely stuck:
I have made the watelmill work: I have glued the wooden missing part with the watermill and I have turned on the water.
I have connected the chain to the bricken door and with the watermill but the door DOES NOT OPEN!

I am really stuck... I can't get the last coin out of the dinning room hutch with the runner on it!!! It says it's locked!!! I am in the dining room, I found the pop key and it disappeared when i entered this room... how do I get the coin out of the hutch? Someone pleae help!!!!!

The 2 walkthroughs are contradicting. The first one, by mercedes, said that the magnifying glass is in the second room, and that you have to pick it up and use it to light the gunpowder. The second walkthrough, by stress_jess said that the magnifying glass is to be picked up after lighting the gunpowder, and there's no mention of how to light the gunpowder whatsoever. So, which one is the correct one? Or both are wrong?

well, i keep reading that I need to open the brick wall thingy.
I have attatched the chain to the door aswell as the windmill. I also glued to plank to the mill, and it is spinning. The door still wont open no matter how long I wait or how many times I enter or leave the room.
Will someone plz give me the code for the door with the circle...i have been workin on it for about 30 min. and i feel like a idiot...someone plz help me!!!!

- Click on MIRROR twice, take MIRROR
- Click on small table to place MIRROR facing the long table
- Click on MIRROR
- Click on long table to take METAL BAR
- Enter Room 2
- Walk to small table, take WINE, GUNPOWDER
- Return to Room 1
- Place GUNPOWDER in locked door
- Use LIGHTER on GUNPOWDER/locked door

These older games are a real treat!
Is anybody able to play part 3 ? For me it does not work in Edge and Chrome.
Some of the clues and puzzles are VERY obscure and don't really make any sense. You pretty much have to try everything everywhere. Interesting story though.
