Ok, I'm bored just talking to everyone.
I have gold, shovel, feather, bucket and spell book. The cat has disappeared.
I got a blue plant before getting turned into a pile of ashes.
I have paper and hair too now
Ahh, finally getting it. Need ingredients for the spell.

When you leave the castle area and go right. Don't go across the bridge, continue right and get the gold. You have to attack the farmer for his hair (you get after you get out of jail), give the blue flower to Lucy in the rose garden. That should get you moving along.
The Hero doesn't seem scared of my dagger =( Guard diasppeared, but my bird still won't go into the garden.
I have me a cat familiar now, but don't know what else to do. I have a shovel and I killed Lucy and Charity.
Where did the Hero run off to?

Huh. I attacked the Hero with my cat familiar then hit him with the shovel and the game ended because I saturated the town with evil, lol.
The Hero is dead at last, got to try with the other familiar now.

You need to get to jail by attacking the farmer, take paper inside jail, and give paper to Hero.

Okay, I've got the bird, but in true fashion, I can't get the stupid thing to do anything.
It just keeps saying that "he doesn't want that."
I've talked to every character that is still alive and none of them give me anything.
Look at the princess through the crack in the wall, then talk to the dragon. Then you can use your bird.
And I forgot, use bird to get friendly with dragon first
I am stuck in the same place...I have a bird and a shovel, I have spoken with the dragon, now what? I still can't get the bird to go into the garden.
The dragon must tell you he needs a princess (and you can take dagger in dragon's cave by the way)

I tried to beat the farmer and my game froze up :( i cant move but i cant still click things this sucks!
Ok, you do not need ink. Just give paper to princess then use dagger on princess and then use paper on princess again!!

You have to talk many times whit everybody, so you can get the different items.

ok so i cast the spell on the bird..have him now..and shovel..everything is gone..im assuming now i have to put him somewhere...hm..can't talk to him in item bar..
Dragon is now my freind..lol..i was scared to go in there..did not want to die again..its one thing to click thru a game..a whole other to have to use arrows..i like this game though..:)

How do I cast the spell? How do I get the bird down from the cave?
I looked at the princess through the cracks and tried to talk to the dragon but got turned to ashes and I had to start over.
I have all the ingredients necessary to cast the spell. I got rid of Lucy and Charity.

if hes in front of the other cave..near dragon..uh ave to use shovel on him to get feather..but i assume u have that already if u have all ingredients
HOW do I cast the spell? I click on the book and drag it to the bird but it doesn't work.

no..use eye.feature instead of hand..and look at book in inventory..
I'm actually at the gold mine cave, not the dragon cave. That's where the bird is.

HAHA Never Mind got them.. Here is a walkthrough:
1. Go down and out of the city and turn left to get a bucket from the barn. (Never mind the farmer and cat.)
2. Go back and continue past town gate. When get to a crossroad, go right and enter cave. Talk to the little guy and get gold.
3. Go back to crossroad and go down. Pick up the blue flower.
4. Go back to town and talk to the grave digger. (Forward and right from start screen.)
5. Go back to start screen, then left and talk to hero and then talk to the gardener. (Garden just up from hero.)
6. Get the shovel and go back to where you got the blue flower. Continue down so long that you reach the tree with a red "eye".
7. Get the shovel and dig the weird area in front of the tree. Get the book and bones. (Just click around the skeleton.)
8. Look at the book, and see what you are missing still.
9. Go back up and hit the bird with the shovel, get the feather.
10. Go back to the gardener and hit him with the shovel.
11. Once in jail, pick up a piece of paper and get out from the window.
12. Go to the hero and give him the paper, you get an autograph.
13. Go back to where the farmer is and get the hair from the ground.
14. Go back to where you got the gold, go next to bird and make the spell.
15. Go back to the tree and go through to the Dragon's cave. Use your animal to talk to Dragon.
16. Get the dagger from back of cave (don't get it before talking to dragon!), and talk to dragon again.
16. Go back to farmer and get arrested again. Get a new sheet of paper and get out.
17. Go to the castle. Go left and find the crack on the wall.
18. Send your animal to the other side. After it gets back, go to the castle again.
19. Use the dagger to princess and once in the cave, talk to dragon.
20. Use the sheet of paper to princess, then dagger and then paper again. When the hero gets in, threaten princess with dagger and dragon will burn him alive.
*** It could be different ***
to get bones..u have to use shovel somewhere...try clicking in areas on the ground..itll give u hint where to dig...go towards the bird..

EVERYTIME I TRY TO HIT ANY ONE WITH THE SHOVEL THE GAME FREEZES UP HALF WAY WHATS GOING ONNNNNNNNNN?!!

I'm using FireFox but i restarted the game in IE so im going to cross my fingers i dont freeze up. ill give you a update soon.

go to where the hero was before..he wont be there now..but check out his window...try to send cat in it...he'll appear..then u have to attack him with cat....then use shovel i believe..
u have to send animal to the other side of place where the wall is falling apart...past castle and to the left..send cat or bird over the wall..to talk to princess...
note: either animal has to be your familiar to do this.:)
KNIGHT: u have to have spoken to dragon to get him to say he wants the princess ..

The dragon won't let me hurt her.
which is your familiar..? bird or cat..it makes a difference..
if its the cat..theres no writing to be done....you must be following walkthrough..that was done with bird..

You have to talk to the grave digger and she will tell u where to go..follow path across from the town idiot and u will see hero..go right of hero and into garden and see gardener she has it...but u have to give her something for it..:)
"10. Go back to the gardener and hit him with the shovel." does NOT work for me!!!! Whenever I try to hit the gardener w/ the shovel, it says, she is "too busy to see what you've got"! NOTHING happens! Please tell me, what do I do in order to hit that lady upside the head w/ a shovel?
do u mean u are trying to give it back to grave digger or gardener...
note: you have to dig with it first before u can kill anyone with it..or smack anyone..lol
@Mercedes, I DID dig w/ it and got the book & bones. I managed to hit the bird and get the feather, but I can't seem to hit that gardner, like it says in the walkthrough! I don't get it?????

you can only get one or the other..cat or bird...as familiar
i played with both and u get different endings for each..:)
either dissapears..when u choose one.
In order to use the cat as a familiar, use the man's hair "string". But, when I go to the dragon, it killed me! :( Now, I must restart!
