Esc to Freedom is a new Japanese point and click type room escape game from creator of Sensor and Wizard Taro game series. I found a key. That's it so far.

how can you take the letters? and what to do whit them and the punaise

used the buttom near the clock. you can change the time but don't know what time
hey! when you change the time on the clock (the punaise is the missing button for setting the clock), the light outside changes to day or night! but nevertheless i am stuck
use the panel "UP" to raise sign, then go out right window and click the left edge of ledge. Repeat to get all of the letters. The goal is to put them in the correct order... ?
i know it changes day and night and the letters S and M light up. but i don't get the point. still don't know how to remove the letters from the sign
in the panel push UP and then go to the windows and you can take the letters in the right side of the windows
Every time you take a letter you have to push UP again
aha, by moving the letters using the panel, maybe i can find something like a password, because when it is night (0:00), some letters are brigther than the others
what to do with the letters??
you can pick up all the panels from the sign outside by pressing the up button then turning towards window opening the right portion and taking the panel, then again up arrow - panel, up arrow, panel. etc.
I think I have all the letters s,o,m,y,s,o and blank panel
u cn turn the signs over but they are blank on the other side
you can flip the boards with the letters, they turn blank, maybe you have to leave some of them out... cant figure out a logical word...
It looked like there were three letters (S, M, Y) that were lit up at night. I've taken all of them from the sign. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to put them back.

when you look out of the window in daylight it says 'set all panels correctly'...
SMY doesn't work..
S [Blank] O [Blank] S doesn't appear to work. That said, I didn't put ALL the panels back in, just enough to get the sign lit up. Maybe I have to put all of them back in. I hope there's not "correct" order for the blank ones if that's the case.

you can turn the panels bij clicking them then click about you can turn it..
then place first 4 white panels then the S than 1 white than the O than 1 white than t S
when you look outside when it is dark it says only 3 back lights have not shown. Dont know what that means but might be a clue

aha... as i already told, it said 'set ALL signs correctly'... when you place four blank ones first, than S, blank, O, blank, S you get out!!!!
WALKTHROUGH:
1: go 2 times right click the chair it turns over, get the key
2:go left open window with key.
3: open right window get the screwdriver
4:go right open cabin with screwdriver.
5: get red button.
6:go two times left put button near clock
7: set clock on 00:00 and go back to the window. look out the left window and you'll see three panels brightened.
8:go back to the panel (cabin) and push up.
9: go back to the window open right window and get letter. Repeat 8+9 till you've got all the letters
10: you have to turn over all the letters accept SOS.
11: place all the letters back: first 4 times a blanc one
then the S
Then a blanco one
then the O
then a blanco one
Then the S
12: go back to the window click rope and your out
Yep, you're right. That was dumb. The sign should read [empty] S [Blank] O [Blank] S [Blank] [Blank] [Blank] [Blank].

Ahh, thanks for the hint about the sign!
Remember, to set each panel back, place it, then click the down button, then place the next panel, press down button, etc.

It's not working for me at all, the letters are in in order but there's no rope? I have even tried every time of the day and night and in a different order where there are three blanks before the S blank O blank S then two blanks but that doesn't work either?
Oh and what soes 'fuum' mean?

the sign's order from top to down should be S blank O blank S blank blank blank blank and when you open left window it will show up "'set all panels correctly" during daytime.hope it help!

I see now, once the last panel is set in place the sign needs to be lowered another space, now the rope as appeared why didn't I think of that sooner! lol

I used the water gun to hold up the guy at the door. Now I can get into a hallway. One end there's a code. Also have a memory chip.
This game sounds a lot different..gonna load it now...be on board..hopefully u will stil be here and it doesnt take forever to load..
Yup, still here and playing. Just checking to see what else I can get from the panels. I should be around for another 15-20 minutes before I have to go.
so do the panels load the same way as the old one..version 1..only with key...not loaded yet..just wondering ..
It's actually easier to load the panels in this version. You can arrange and rearrange all the panels at once, and then only have to load them one time. Also, no more having to put them in reverse order.
This game loads twice..kinda silly..just when u think it done..its not..lol..almost there..:)
Weird, I spelled out "NUN" and then looked out the window and it said "SUN". I don't know if that's a glitch or a hint that some letters will show up differently than what you think. I checked the reverse side of my "N" and it's not "S", it's "Y".
Maybe I should try to spell SOS with this? Again, could be a glitch.

spelled key and got a rope at the window now...
sorry false alarm..not a ladder but a "red part" they call it.
opened up red part and got a "red key"

playing two games here..but now i spelled gun and got a "blue part" from window..which when opened gives u a water gun..
Once u use your water gun..which i forgot about cause i was too busy spelling words..lol...u can go out into the hallway..when u use the key to open door..quickly highlight the gun and use it on the guy who comes to answer the door and u will see a box at the end of the hallway...
Also click door..at the side of wall and u will get a handle from the door..on the side..
Use handle on the code box..

Help me here,if u can. Every time i spell a word it gives me that ding! sound but i´m not able to see any item showing up anywhere (like the water gun)
Where are they? Maybe it´s still to early for me (9am) and i need some more coffee to go on playing
u spell the words in ur inventory ...then put them outside..using the thing on the wall put the letters down..and if u go back to the window dependingone what word u spelled..u will get an item..
key is in chair..but theres another one at the window in an item
red ball is on the wall where the mechanism is..
look outside also..
now have memory chip and have opened up code box..
Did u play part one..? like the version before this..one? looks identical..only more to do..
letters to be put outside are done a lot easier this time too..:) just when u spell a word in your inventory..make sure u skip a space..put blank tile..so it appears like this..

This one is different full..u spell different words to get stuff..2 words i spelled so far got me something and one word was a hint..its in the blog..:)
My god , i´m feeling stupid today.....
I spell k-e-y, ok. And than what arrows do i use ,up? down? What window do i go through? I only hear one single ¡doing! sound and i´m not able to do any more than that
use the key u got from the chair on the window...
once u get the window opened look ouside and get screwdriver..and open screw that u see there beside screwdriver..
grab letters..and while in inventory spell letters..then put them back from where u got them and go hit down on the box u oopen up with screwdriver on the wall...go back and see window..:)
let me know if that helps..
make sure u spell letters like i said earlier...and its night time..u can also drag the letters around in inventory and flip them...so that some are blank others have letters on both sides..
No luck, i speel a word, look out the right window get a "letter" push down than window again ,Down/window,down/window etc. but nothing.

IM Writing walkthrough..right now..:0
WALKTHROUGH
1. Go to chair in the room and flip it til u see key..grab it..
2. Go to window and open window with the key u get from chair.
3 Once window is opened get screwdriver u see there and use it on the screw to open panel up for letter panel.
4.Go to box on the wall and use screwdriver to open it and while there grab red ball...and hit UP button.
5. Go get letters.
6.Go to clock on wall and set time to night time..18:00 is what i had..
7. Play with letters make sure when u notice that the letters have a space between them..blank space tile..You play with letters in you inventory.
8. Spell KEY so it looks like this.
K_ E_ Y . Go to window and put letters in the panel..
Go to the wall where the box is and hit DOWN.
9. Go back to window and open oposite side and grab what looks like a RED BAR...While in inventory open it up with screwdriver and get RED KEY.
11. Now spell G_ U_ N. go back to window and input letter tiles in box. Go back and hit down on the box.
12. Now you have a blue looking bar. Open it up in your inventory with screwdriver and get WATER GUN.
13. Now spell N_ U_ N.. go put tiles back into box outsde and go hit down on the box on the wall again.
14. Go to the window and see that the word is spelled SUN instead of NUN.
15. Now its time to use your RED KEY.
16. GO to the door and highlight KEY in inventory and click door..QUICKLY hightlite GUN. and squirt guy..He runs away..You now have access to out in the hallway.
17. Click somewhere down near the left door and grab HANDLE.
18. Go back and and enter room again but open door and see that u can go both ways..Now you can go left and right..
Go LEFT.grab microchip of of the floor.
19. Go back into room and now go RIGHT. There is a box at the end of hallway..ALSO note door thats the door u will leave from.
19. Click BOX looking thing and notice u have to open it.
Use HANDLE on it...and NOTE it says..PLEASE REVERSE.
20. Remember NUN that said SUN
20. Enter SUN.. GO to door and open it with microchip is what i did..AND your OUT!
It's really late here and I hope i got it right..:) If not I'm sure our walkthrought Queen won't mind doing one again..:D

Got it now Mercedes, thanks so much to stay up late helping with your walkthrough, my mistake was that when i put the words in the box at the right window, i clicked twice there as i thought i had to hear that ¡doing! sound, but i didn´t realize that when you hear that, you actually take them away again......

Aha! I was right about the NUN thing (I just didn't know it). I finished the game I was originally playing but only got the "Whoam End, but memory doesn't not return".
I think I will try again for yet another ending.
Ahh, I got the Whoami End again but this time I left when it was night. It didn't say anything about memory that time.
Ok, apparently there are 4 different endings. Did anyone get anything other than:
Hawk End
Tohoho End
Whoami End

i got a perfect end.
i got my memory back.my name is Sun Marco.......
before you go out, i think i highlight my microchip and touch the outside door (but i tried this before and it didn't work.)
and then i put the microchip in the some kind machine(outside the door) and i got my memory back!
i just turn over the KEY panels (so it changes into SUN panel) instead of using NUN. and it still works!
i escape in daytime. i am not sure if it's ok for at night!
so the fourth ending is "Finish.You Got Freedom!!"
"Perfect End!!"
I put my memory thing in the machine but still said no memory back. Sad :(
