Abandoned Walkthrough
Abandoned is another point and click room escape type game from Melting-Mindz. While on another paranormal investigation, nothing seemed to be happening. Temperatures seemed to fluctuate a little more than usual but nothing too extreme. While in the far end of the basement, what appeared to be a mist started to form. It started off thin and very opaque, soon it began to get thick. It became so thick and dark that no one could see anything. It felt like being wrapped in a thick fog. Everything all at once became black. That is the last thing that I can remember. The others. I hope that they are all OK. Good luck and have fun! [Subbed by Full, Diana, Mercedes]

where did u find yellow one?
use glove in th bucket to get wrench. I opened water with wrench in the first room, but nothing obvious happened.
there is a code 5334, not sure where to use it..
also have a mirror and pocket watch (used for setting time of another clock to 2:27)

You need to have one item in the middle before the diagram on the floor is complete.
For the door with "ruby". Look at the chalkboard in the classroom. Then recall the star puzzle you had with "JOHNY" on it. Each button on the door represent a letter in the word JOHNY. Press the buttons in the correct order to spell his name and voila! The door is open.
BTW, I'm FINALLY out. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the lightbulbs.

The dates on the calendar aren't really one year apart. It just goes from October 1952, November, December, January 1953, February. They are still chronological but in reverse order.
For the lightbulbs, recall the diagram that you saw on the wall when you first got out of the basement. There is a small symbol at the bottom that has a circle and 2 arrows. Right before you turn left to get to the lightbulb room, that same symbol is above the door, but it's been rotated. This means that you first look at your diagram and enter the code, then rotate your paper according to the new orientation of the symbol, and type in the new code again.

I apologize in advance for a long and possibly confusing walkthrough.
Walkthrough:
-Click the dirt below the steps a couple of times to get the screwdriver.
-Go up the ladder and use the screwdriver on the padlock.
-Note the diagram on the wall. Click the wooden block on the floor and note the symbol and the number 5.
-Go left and then the arrow at the bottom of the screen. Click the bottom arrow again.
-Go right and note the diagram on the floor. Click the pillar and note there are loose bricks.
-Click the bricks until one falls off. Get the yellow gem. There are 2 loose bricks but only one gives you the gem.
-Click the up arrow and get the pocketwatch. Note that the time is stuck on 2:27.
-Go down and left. Turn left again. Click the wooden block and note the symbol and the number 4. Get the ceramic H.
-Go forward and get the rubber glove.
-Go back, right, and then click the bottom arrow. Get the ceramic N.
-Click the big metal bin and use your glove to get the wrench.
-Go left. Get the mirror. Click the panel on the right side of the wall and get the blue gem. Note the light bulbs don’t work.
-Go back all the way up the stairs and then go forward once.
-Turn left and note the clock on the left side. Set the clock to 2:27. Get the green gem.
-Exit the room and go forward. Get the ceramic J from the right side of the workbench.
-Note the wooden tile with the symbol and number 3.
-On the front of the workbench you will see the symbols to the ones that correspond to the numbers you found. This code ends up being 5334.
-Click the wooden box under the table and if you think that the buttons on the box are number 1-5, from left to right. Press the buttons for 5334. Get the set of keys.
-Go back and then left. Open the panel and get the purple gem.
-Use the keys to open the door.
-Click the chalkboard and note the orientation of the star, as well as the points on the star that correspond to the 5 “buttons”. Note where the arrow is pointing.
-Click the calendar next to the window and note the symbols that are associated with each month.
-Get the bloody knife at the bottom of the left side desk. Exit the room, go forward, and then right.
-Click the star puzzle and starting with “J” at the top, spell “JOHNY” in a clockwise direction.
-Note that the arrow is pointing to the letter “H”. (Remember there was an arrow pointing at point on the star in the chalkboard diagram?).
-Go back downstairs to the stairwell. Use the knife in the switch on the left. Get the old book from the desk that is now lit up. Note that each month’s entry is outlined in a certain color.
-Click the down arrow and go left twice. Click the door up ahead and then the door panel.
-With the diagram on the chalkboard the letter that the arrow was pointing to on the star puzzle, you can deduce that from top to bottom, the letters are Y J O N H. Press the letters in the order that spells JOHNY (51243).
-Open the door, move the boxes and get the red gem. Note the thick red fog.
-Go back and note the symbols on the wall.
-Turn right twice and then back. Note the orientation of the symbol above the door. Now go left.
-If you think that the buttons are:
A B
C D
Press them in this order: BCA, DCA. Both lights should now be on.
-Go back down to where you began. Use the wrench on the handle that wouldn’t turn. Now the water is on.
-Go left and get the doll from the well.
-Go back to the room with the diagram on the floor (and the broken pillar). According to the symbols from the months on the calendar, as well as the color that each month’s entry in the diary appear. Please the gems in the appropriate spots and then the doll in the middle.
October – Sun – Green
November – Crescent moon (points to left) – Purple
December – Crescent moon (points to right) – Blue
January – Star – Yellow
February – Circle – Red
-Use your mirror on the lightning. Now your mirror is powerful.
-Return to where you got the red gem (you will have to reenter the JOHNY code). Use the mirror on the thick fog and you’re out!
Explanation of light bulb puzzle:
Take a look at the diagram you have that you got from the wall when you first exited the basement. Each square represents the corresponding buttons where the lightbulbs are. There is a symbol with a circle with one arrow pointing up and one pointing right. Remember a similar symbol above the door right before the light bulb puzzle? The circle had arrows pointing down and left. Physically turn your paper so that the diagram had the circle symbols pointing down and left as well. Now mentally label the squares:

C D
Now recall the two symbols (one had 2 circles with curved lines and one had 2 circles connected by one line) that were just before the door leading to the red gem.
Starting with the 2 circles/curved lines, the arrow path will give you the pattern: BCA.
Now going to the 2 circles connected by one line and follow the arrow path. You now get DCA.

if someone has actually tried to go anywhere, rather than just religiously followed the walkthrough from the start they cant have failed to find the well lol
was an excellent walkthrough as usual thank you, i was busy banging my head against the walls over trying to find the keys, was going in so many circles i thought i was a hamster ;-)

Dam, what a hard game. Thank you Diana for all your help, could not have even got started without your help..I dont know if the game is different per player, because my numbers for the "ruby" panel door was 23541..Also with the bulb puzzle, I only got one light to light up and had to go turn on the water in the basement and come back to light the second bulb. My sequence was the same as yours though..Im glad this game is over..Dam, dam hard..Thank you again for all your help Diana

Hey Reddc, that bulb puzzle gave me fits..I tried over and over to get them both to light up..I only could get one..I went back to the basement (where we first began) the room with the water pipes and 2 valves..Turned one valve on with the wrench, it said water is on, went back to the bulb puzzle and input the 2nd sequence DCA, and the 2nd bulb lit up..Hope that helps some...This was a really hard game

stupid game... can´t get the second light bulb on and I turned the valve with the wrench, but there´s no water in the well, although the text message said that I had turned the water on...
so now I can´t get the doll and can´t finish the game...
Fruthermore, the link between the scheme on the wall and the light bulb game is too far fetched for me to figure that out on my own. Luckily there are people like Diana who have the brains and patience to solve that kind of riddles for me ;)

i think there are certain things that must be done b4 you can turn on the second bulb, it happened to me
i think it is either that you have to either turn on the water or get the keys and open the classroom, or both!!! then i think you cant reach the doll till both lights are on.. so i would make sure you have done what needs doing in the classroom then return and flick the switch ... then hopefully the second light will come on :-)

right Miss Dina, this is how you do it.
once you have turned the water pipes on, don't go to the well yet. First, you have to go back to where the light bulbs are and switch the second one on. To do this, press the buttons in the order b,c,a d,c,a again, then click on the switch and it should turn the second switch on. Then you go back to the well where the doll is and it should be lit up. Hope that helps you Miss Dina!

i am at the end of the game but i can not get the well to fill up i use the wrench and nothing happens. i also cant get both lightbulbs on i only have ont lit. is there something i am missing or not doing. i want to finish this game so bad i keep retrying but i always get stuck at the same spot. the well. WHY WONT IT FILL SOMEONE PLS HELP.

this game is obviously buggy. I reloaded it several times and each and every time after going directions into different parts of the buildings the arrows in the screen wouldnt come back to go back into another room in any direction at all , and i cant go into another room from another room. You should test out your games properly before putting them up as this aint even controllable to play
