Pest Private Eye and The Case of IPM in Schools is an educational point and click type role playing game from the University of Nebraska. In this game, players take on the role of Pest Private Eye, a detective who helps people solve their pest problems. You have to patient while the game is loading. This game not only took forever to load, once loaded it takes forever to load in the game! It is very s l o w !

Hey everybody, I cant get rid of the pidgeons..I think Im lacking 6 tools..Also, cant get anything else from the janitors closet..clues anyone
Go to locker room with janitor, you'll gain access to key for those items. After you talk to janitor, go down stairs for the closet. I just did that! =)

Okay, I still have part of the outside perimeter and the pidgeons and the one part of library..Im still missing 6 tools..The whole bottom line of tool section..
I still haven't figured out how to leave the first room!! I put the screen up, fixed the hole & sink, got the spider & all the tools.. Now what?! Takes me forever to get from this window to the game & back, it's reeeeeeeeally slow

It should go automatically to in front of a school. You have to click on the front doors.
Did you clean up desk? Use trash bag for desk.

In library, I turn thermostat down, killed the mold, put sticky trap on spider..Vacumned him up and I cant close it out yet because it shows I have something left to do in the spot where the spider was.
Need help with library & outside perimeter.

If sticky trap didn't work, go to locker room, talk to janitor, get key from him, then go downstairs to janitor room. There's enough items there to finish the game. Some, you will have to use more than one item.

Yes, it was.. At first I was un-sure because of all the dialogue..turned out to be fun...
It was fun, especially if you get a little help along the way, and meet new people.
i still have the bottom row of tools to fill but i'm not done with the outside perimeter or the ant problem on the playground.. i'm also missing something for the rat in the locker room.

After 100 years waiting, Im so stuck...any clues on the spider near the sink thingy? Ive done everything else but just keep getting "I need a closer look" - did the magnifying glass on the spider but that's all i can do?!? Grrr...

Hi all. I am one of the makers of this game. I apologize for it being down...we were getting so much traffic it overloaded the server. Our IT people are in the process of moving it to a faster server so it should be good to go in a few days. Thank you all for playing!
By the way, thank you for such great feedback. We just got a grant to expand the game and will be making lots of changes, including more challenge, complexity, and new features. One will be to have a separate instructions area so you don't have to sit through that into screen with Penny (yours truly ;-)) We promise some good improvements!

Game is up and running. We had to move it to another, faster server, and also updated some things. You can now skip through long scenes and dialogue if you so desire, and only have to read the instructions if you want to. We got a grant to expand on the game so there will be some new changes in the upcoming year, but for now, the fixes we added should help gameplay quite a bit. Thanks for playing!

This game was awesome and quite interesting. I didn't know how the game was going to interact with the real world. Everything said on this goame should be followed at ALL schools and learning facilities. The reason is because of the children that attend these schools will be safe and in a warm bugless enviroment.

Hello everyone! I am one of the University of Nebraska--Lincoln creators of Pest Private Eye and we have just revised and updated the game to make it more complex and challenging. In addition, the coding was changed so it will run must faster (long load times should not be an issue now!)
