While I was outside at night, I clicked the pink-ish book, and got a message on the screen saying "It's just a generic western. They always end the same." Not sure if that's a hint or a joke... hmm.

East is to the left out the window (if you look at sunrise 9am the light is coming from the right so right = west)

Well, you can rearrange the letters to spell "Walter"... I'm trying to think if there are any more combinations that don't come out to jibberish.

i found a zoom spot in the centre screen outside, found it a couple of times, but be blowed if i can get it again now....

Why do I feel like we need a flashlight? Or has anyone come up with a better (correct) use for the batteries?
on the piece of paper(?) we found on the shelf, there is a photo of a cactus. i think the "king" seems to be the very left one in the left screen. but i've clicked everywhere, still stuck.

Set the clock to 2:21 AM and look at the stars. One constellation (a cactus) highlights in green. Click on that shaped cactus to get the black key.
I also picked up a compass, not sure where, I was clicking randomly outside and now it's in my inventory.
from the constellations book "some constellations are only visible for one minute" - so we must have to set the time (minutes too) and look at the king cactus on the left like in the brochure

Hey, that was good thinking too. I think Juan was using the keyboard commands for numbers and the colon. I tried 2:07 too, though... didn't work either. :( Anyone else having any luck?

If you hold alt, type 50, then release alt, you will get a 2. Just as if you hold alt, type 936, and release alt, you get ¿. If you do that for all the numbers in the morse code, you get 2:21.
I found the compass after I got the black key. I think you need to click the cactus constellation for it to highlight in green. I have a habit of clicking randomly on the screen very fast so I'm not sure.
No highlation going on. Where abouts on the screen is the constellation?
i got it! with the clock set at 2:21, go to the right and click up into the sky. i have the cactus highlighted, no key though!

Once you highlight the cactus constellation, you need to click on the cactus that is the same shape as the constellation. The black key is hanging on the constellation.
I don't know where I found the compass, I'm sorry. I was wandering in the screens outside and clicking randomly everywhere, and when I checked my inventory again, it was there.

Got it! After you highlight the cactus, zoom out, then click the cactus ALL the way on the left of that screen. It's small, but it looks the same as the constellation, and the key is hanging on the arm on the right side.

I managed to find the compass... but I couldn't tell you where. :( I just clicked all over the ground of the 3 screens and somehow it appeared in my inventory.
Wow, getting back to where i was before took me all of 5 seconds.
Um, wtf... I put the black key next to the lock on the truck, and it disappeared like the gold key did in the door, but nothing happens when I click the truck door. Not cool.

Yes, that is where I am stuck too Stephanie. I think we need to open the garage door, then we can drive out, but I don't know how to do that yet.
The batteries are my only draggable item.
I want my key back, or better yet, I want the truck to open. Um, yeah. Not so happy. Better get to work seeing if I can make anything of the stupid compass.
I guess that the compass and map of the desert are both needed to win the game (the constellation book says both are needed to escape from the desert) but probably not for any puzzles.
If we can open the locked drawer, I think that is the last puzzle. Maybe there is a garage door opener (without batteries) inside?

Heather, I'm sorry, I honestly just clicked like a mad woman all around the ground outside, and after I clicked all over the 3rd screen, I checked my inventory and there it was. I wish I had a better answer for you.

compass is outside on the left. Just click in middle of sky. I know it's on the left. Just don't know for sure were on the left.
Yeah, the stupid inventory bar gets in the way. You just kinda have to hover it near the lock until it disappears. Buuut, then it's apparently gone for good. :-/

The game is running SOOO slow for me now. It started off okay, but it's dragging big-time. I don't know if their server is overloaded or what, but it's adding to my frustration.

Yes, the sunset. Set the clock to around sunset, and one of the cactus near the setting sun in the west will have the key to the drawer.

Sabrina, when you go outside at 2:21am, go to the screen to the right, then click the top right corner of the screen; it'll move to a new screen with just stars, and the cactus shape is toward the lower right part of that screen.

go to the right of the outside and click the sky. Then in the lowish right there should be a cactus constellation. Click it. It will glow.
Then go back to the ground and on that screen there is a cactus with the same shape as the constellation. Click it. Hanging of its arm is the key.
There is an option somewhere to play it full screen. It got rid of the ad on the side that was causing all of the lag.
Sabrina: have you already highlighted the constellation in green? The matching cactus is the left-most cactus in the east screen.

Hey Guys - This should help...
Just above the game is an option to play it full screen. This removes the lag for the game and you don't have to worry about clicking on anymore ads. However - This WILL restart the game, but it's pretty easy to get back.
The compass is in the Left screen with the cactus that looks like the one on the pamplet, in the bottom cornor of the screen.
I can't find the key for the desk, any help please?
I feel like an idiot fumbling with their car keys.
Im in the garage, the garage door is open, the car works, but the stupid key just wont go into the hole!
Heather, you have to just hold the key over the lock (and overlapping the stupid inventory bar) until it disappears into the lock. Try to get the tip of the cursor arrow centered over the lock.

The batteries are in the smoke detector on the ceiling. The drawer key is hanging on a cactus next to the setting sun.
out again, this time with both secrets.
So not worth the aggravation. Lame.

Uh... I found the silver key...
In the Left screen, click under the catus' right arm (it's got a shadow of another -unseen- cactus coming out from it) and then just take the key off the... middle part.
I did this at 7:15pm on the clock.

outside, there are three different screens: left, middle and right. you can only go back inside when you are in the middle screen. click at the bottom left or right from the black part leading to the inventory.
Maybe this game would be nice if it wasn't slowing down so much. I was not aware I have escaped for more than five minutes!
This was brutal...
This game is glitchy. Inventory bar is in the way and won't drop so I can open truck. Items drop independently from bar. Compass is outside ... somewhere... random clicking puts it in inventory with no indication when. I prefer to play games that make sense.
heather... there is no R in the Morse code-it's an S. The outside screens are west, south and east. Presumably the house is north.
well this was a weird game...understood the "riding into the sunset" bit, but got dizzy whilst star gazing!!! Escaped with both secrets but it took a few before I realized I was out!!! Oh well...on to the next game!
Compass is beside the cactus with the silver key. It is just a grey spot to the bottom left. Click it and the compass appears.

WALK THROUGH...go to book case,grab the 3 books,go to window smash with big book.go to clock set it for 2:22am,go outside click the top screen click around till a green cactus pops up then click it to get black key.Sorry but thats all i have.
The game has more secrets for those of you who think outside the box. I'm afraid only thieves will know of their existence, though.

FOUND IT!!! IM OUT!! OK LIsten set the clock to 7.30 PM and ont the west (left) outside the window when you click on the left of the screen you see a different view to the cactuses. get the key for the drawer. theres a remote control with no batteries. combine the remote with batteries. go outside the door and click on the remote. now the garage door is open. click on the black key and click just on the key hole of the car door. THATS IT!
