key and hammer, what's up with the dates on the bottles. Some are impossible dates
i just put a code in the thingie and it flashed green... but i dunno if that done something
beer BAAAD!
got two coins, a hammer and a battery. unplugged the tv, found two screws in it, entered code which then flashed green... got drunk and now stuck
and now ive trashed the wiring :/

screwdriver in fridge between a couple things, look for some blue sticking out, DONT DRINK BEER! lol The bottle with the sticker on it, that looks different then the rest, I put that date into the code box and it went green. dunno why
so no one answered, what are those seed/banana looking things I got from under the blue surf board?

You can disconnect the wire above the box on electrical panel. It'll flash with lighting like sparks. Have no idea what that accomplishes, though.

hi escape... this is getting really frustrating
ok, so I stuck the screwdriver in there and kept wiggling it and POOF out when the lights. THen I clicked on the bulb with the battery in it.

where all the wiring is, just to the left and a little below the green box, it stuck there and I kept clicking on it and wiggling it

very pixelly I just got lucky with the right spot. Maybe you have to have the battery in the bulb before blowing the lights? code in the code box?

momma_shed, I got the wire from the greay box, just below the little green box to come down, without the screwdriver, but the lights didn't go out. Is that the same place you are talking about?
Also, did you get a second key?

yeah that is when the lights went out. No I only have one key...hmmm No idea where to use the first one dang it. And speaking of, where is the friggin door we are getting out of anyway?

I used the key on the clock, on lower left spot. It never turned, though, and then when I turned it over, and got the battery, it was gone. I might have to start over. :(
never used the key, just turned clock over. weird. buggy maybe. This game is pissing me off...grrrrrr
ok so lights out, lightbulb in inventory on - now what ? nothings changed
holy crap I just drowned!!
so here is what I did. THis little spot on the elbow of the pipe is gold. I hit it with hammer, it broke and flooded basement, said I did not wear floaties...so is that what the yellow things are??
Okay, restarted and got the lights out.
What's with the little yellow elbow on the pipe on the right hand side of room, under the tank?
Also zoomed in on tank to look at what's written on it, but can't make any sense of it.

LOL, momma_shed. Just asked about that little elbow, while you were posting. I've pounded that area a lot and it still hasn't broken. Guess I was lucky.
I'd say, yes. That those are floaties, but how do you put them on?
This game is getting really frustrating.
totally buggy game. I had to use the key this time to turn the clock, never used it before. It was always in my inventory. So we need the bulb and battery to have light, need screwdriver to kill power so we do not eletrocute ourselves, use hammer to break waterpipe, but how to put floaties on. I have tired like 10 times now
Patricia, there may not be a second key. Momma_shed, didn't have to use her key to turn over clock.
if i could figure out the floaties I would be out...and for their info I am a very good swimmer!! lol
I have a feeling, that, if we ever figure out how to put on the floaties, when we flood the basement, we'll float up to the window and get out that way. Now, if we can just figure out how to wear the darn things.
maybe we need to pump up the floaties, when you drown you can't use the surfboard to float

You can put the floaties on the top of the water tank and they inflate, but I don't know how to wear them after that. Also, I don't know what triggered it, but at some point a line appeared in the wall next to the code box; I clicked on it and got a second key.
why does it look like the box the tv is on can be opened? that might help. and the floaties do look like they need to be inflated.
Patricia, put the key in the spot on the lower left corner of the clock and then click on the clock. It should turn over. Then click on the black area, on back, until it opens. That's where the battery is.
drag floaties to bottom of floor, they stay there and you get them automatically when the water starts but you need a key to open window and I have no idea where it is,
Patricia, sorry, after putting the key in clock, click the key and clock will turn over.

after you put the first key in the clock a line appears next to the thingy were u put the code and click on it then u get key

Okay--getting the battery from the clock triggered the line in the wall (to the left of the code box) for me--click and you'll get a key. I'm out.
man - I'm floating by the window, have a key but it don't fit, hammer won't smash it maybe i should use hammer on myself !
that game has officially won my PITA of the week award. ok, 4 month old will be awake in like 20 minutes. I should have went to bed before 1 am!!

where is the second key? i cant seem to find it or how to get the crack in the wall to retrieve it
you get two keys, one for the clock is smaller and shows on the right of your inventory, the key for the window is larger and shows on the left of the inventory buy the light
you need the bronze key not the yellow one
I thought someone said that after putting code in box a black line appeared on the wall and that is where the second key is, but I've restarted the game three times and never got that black line.

you may have to restart to get second key, it was very picky for me. First I had to put in the code on the security box, then put key in clock, get battery, zoom back out and there was a small line in the wall to left of security box, click it and get second key

Here is the order I did stuff in.
Go to box on left, get hammer and code off wine bottle.
Open fridge and get screwdriver
Get floaties from under surfboard and put on top of water heater
Get key from under tv set box and unplug tv set
Put code in security box
Use key to get battery from clock
Immediately look on wall for a line, click it to get second key
Use screwdrive on tv to get bulb, put with battery
Use screwdriver to fry wiring
turn on lightbulb
put floaties on the floor
break water pipe
float to top use key on window

Okay, I officially give up. I finally got the key from the wall, but now, every time I try to turn off electricity, it won't go out.
This game is just too buggy for me.

there is a second key. if you put the code in look in the middle of the gray wall, there will be a little line. click on it

I can't get the floaties to go anywhere or break the pipe. I'm using the hammer all over it.
I'm trying desperately trying to put the floaties on the top of the hot water tank : impossible. I even zoomed in to be more precise, but it is useless.
Well, I give up : I started the game again, and this time I could put one of the floaties on the water tank, but not the other one !
Ok the floaties go one either side of the pipe at the top of the tank. do that first they need to inflate. when inflated put on the floor in frontish of the tv box. For the second key, type code in, go to clock, inset key zoom out, horizontal line should be there, get key, then go back to clock for battery. Don't panic when the water comes in it stops at window level :)
Walk through...
1. click the box with wines
2. click hammer handle on left side of box
3. click darkest bottle of wine, note date
4. exit out of "wine list"
5. click on "floats" behind bottom of surf board
6. place floats on top of water heater, top on left, bottom on right
7. click on fridge
8. behind cans is a dark object, its a knife/screwdriver, click that
9. click on key under t.v. stand
10. click on t.v. power cord where it is plugged in
11. click on back of t.v.
12. use knife/screwdriver to remove screws from t.v.
13. click on back of t.v.
14. use knife/screwdriver to remove screws from wired plate.
15. click on wired plate
16. click on light bulb
17. exit out of rear t.v. screen
18. drag floats to floor directly in front of you
19. click on clock
20. use small key on hole in lower right corner of clock
21. click on key until back panel shows
22. click on battery cover until removed
23. click to take battery
24. exit out of clock screen
25. click on number pad
26. enter in date from wine bottle (1341965)
27. there should be a green flash
28. exit out of number pad screen
29. click on line in wall between power area and fridge
30. wall should open revealing a key, take the key
31. use knife/screwdriver on wires directly below brightest green box
*****You must use knife/screwdriver to do this or it will not turn off lights*****
32. use key from wall opening on key hole in window

- just take 1 floaty and drag it to top left side of the watertank,
- the other 1, drag it to the top right side of the watertank, that did it for me :D ... hope you can do it now.
@ William ... shouldn't the lightbulb be connected to battery be4 shutting down the light ?

Why do i always need help when i'm nearly out :(
I cannot get my light to turn on. The battery is connected. Is there another trick?
I have read all the comments and the walkthrough . . . totally stumped at the same spot over and over again.
Room is dark, floaties are inflated on the floor (somewhere in the dark) have hammer, screwdriver/knife, second key, and a lightbulb with a battery attached that doesn't do anything.

And I tried it with floaties inflated and still on the hot water tank.

Thanks for all the hints earlier.
Do this in order or it won’t work.
1. There is a brown box on the left of the basement. Click on box. There is a hammer on the far left of the box, take it. The date on the black wine bottle with the large sticker is the code for the code box. Enter the date as the code in the code box. This must be done before you touch the clock.
2. There is a key under the brown box that the TV sits on. Get it. Click on the clock, put the key in the bottom right corner of the clock, then click on the far right side of the clock. At the back of the clock click on the black square until you see the battery. Take battery. If you do this without the key (it is possible) you won’t be able to finish.
3. Click on the fridge. Open the fridge. There are red cans at the top and one of them has a bit of a space. There is a screwdriver there. Really, there is.
4. Unplug the TV. Click on the back of the TV. Use the screwdriver to open the TV by click on the screws with the screwdriver, once inside open the next thingy with the screwdriver. Take the light bulb. Combine battery with bulb.
5. There should be a lighter grey line on the wall to left of the code box. Click it. It should open and reveal a key. Take it.
6. Pick up yellow thingers from behind the banana shaped surf board. Put them on the water tank on the left of the room. They are water wings that are not inflated. If you leave them alone, they will inflate.
7. Above the TV is the circuit breaker/fuse box. Drag the screwdriver to the top part of grey box. It should make sparks. Keep doing this until the room goes black. Then click on the little switch on the light bulb. This should illuminate the room.
8. Once the yellow things have inflated, drag them to the floor in the middle. This will mean you are wearing them.
9. Use the hammer on the water tank pipe. There is a tiny yellow part under it that you can break with the hammer. You will have to click several times. Water should start gushing into the room.
10. You will float to the window, there you use the second key (the one you didn’t use on the clock) and unlock the window. YOU ARE FREE!
