The scissors are in the grey box next to the desk. The code is calculated according to the book on the top book shelf.

My system always shows the numbers for the codes as file folders and other items instead of numbers.. Is this just me?
so far i have a pot, a picture and a piece of paper with dots on it
If you look at the key panel beside the door, there is a guitar shape, so I guess the piece of paper is representing the notes on the guitar which should be entered into the key panel. However, the key panel is not working at the moment.
The piece of paper actually looks like part of a music staff.

If you put the vase on the large game table a new puzzle shows above the bed.

Found a key which opens up the drawer beside the book shelves. There is a cutter inside.

i don't know about the thing over the bed but the card with symbols goes with the code in the cabinet. don't know how to translate the symbols though. anyone know what the symbols are?
Ohh I found the pic under the desk. It's not there the whole time, it just appeared near the back left leg of the desk.

You have to do something (maybe use the knife on the wall?) before the pic will appear. Shadysmith, use the cutters on something else to get the knife to cut the wall.
Blondzombie have you figured anything else out? I have no idea what these symbols mean and how to translate them into something resembling numbers.

No, Monica, you use the scissors to get the cutter, then you use the cutter on the wall.
The symbols at the back of the photo represent Leo, Virgo, Cancer and Aquaries. They should be mapped to the code on the box in the cabinet next to the door. I tried the months of these signs but not work.

I've tried that, but either I'm doing it wrong or I'm on the wrong track.
never mind. the symbols aren't even the same.
i tried using sun as one, etc, down the line, but that didnt work either...
sun mercury moon saturn but I don't know how to get the numbers
remember that you have to convert the symbols to match what on the back of the pic in inventory...
i used moon as 4 which is what i think earth is...but i just dont know

But some of the symbols on the painting aren't on the chart on the wall.
I think the word on the painting is virgo!
I was looking up the symbols in my constellation book but not much luck.

I tried that too. But I just don't even know what number the moon would even be
well if sun is zero, i used moon as 3, if sun is 1, i used moon as 4....equaling whatever earth equals, but either way, it doesnt work
let's not forget the 4 on the scissors, the 5 on the pot and the key is in the shape of the cancer sign
if the painting spells virgo, that translates to mercury, 1st planet next to the sun...but where do you get any numbers from that lol?!?!?!

Just to make sure, I have a code panel above the bed, a box in the cabinet and a panel by the door. None of which I can find a code for. I have tried various sites so far for planets. No luck

The symbols on the wall correspond to letters. The word at the top right is "planets" and each planet has been spelled out in the symbol language. Using those symbols and the letters they correspond to, the symbols on the painting spell "virgo". As for what that means, I have no idea.

if the top of the poster says "planets" you can get two note signs of that (a and e). the g and r I got from virgo on the pic. the last i guessed.

- 3 for Leo (on the lion)
- 7 for Virgo (this is what I don't understand)
- 4 for Gemini (under the scissors, they are some sort of twins, I suppose).
- 5 for Aquarius (5 under the vase)
So, where does 7 come from ?

Ok totally stuck. I cant get the code pad near the door to work. Cant enter anything in it, not that it matters cause i have no idea WHAT to enter in it!
