Michelle the "roll" people are talking about is the brown box.
For the glasses- click paper on the wall with blue symbol and no door, then ring bell and follow the 21 symbols on paper in inventory until you end up at blue symbol again. there should be a door now. The glasses are in that room if I remember right.

Ruff for following the paper, when i continuously go right the symbols don't match up. do i have to go through the doors at that point, or just press right? do you know what i mean?
Michele, I have just started. I need to work on it a bit more.
Michelle when you don't go right you go left. make a note of each symbol above the doors in order-then follow the symbols on the paper starting at the dark blue symbol.
nvm ruff, went back and looked at previous posts and the directions where posted. However i'm just curious how the left directions where figured out cause all the arrows where pointing to the right.

niff thx for the translations. at least we can see why the bamboo is glowing. i've been walking around with the glasses on trying to see if there are any more clues other than the glowing bamboo.
so what with all the references to mushroom? do you guys think that the muschrooms are under that spot in the ground by the bamboos?
Ruff, you'll soon find your way around. You start in a central area with 8 walls with different symbols in different colours. Take them 1 at a time and look everywhere. You can sometimes turn even if there are no arrows- especially where there are 2 doors to choose from after you go through the lighter blue door. You'll soon be stuck with everyone else!!
niff, i have two brown books in my inventory full of japanese any luck on getting that translated?

I have 8 dolls + 2 with crosses, a key, a chart with circles, a chart with all the line symbols and arrows, an empty glass, a wooden box and a sheet of paper. Have I missed anything?
I do notice somethings from two books. One of them has a date missing (9/4). The other one has some Chinese characters as on the password device.
Can I get some help with finding the doll in the room with the glasses?

niff are you numbering the clock like thing as a clock. meaning 12 at north position and 6 at south position?
glasses are inside the closet of the room that becomes available once you ring the bell and follow the map

Michele, Ani2007 mixed the 0/X from the red book and the symbols from the blue. The ones left were 2,8,10,1,2,6,8 from first the black script then the red.

Got "cusion" steamed it, pounded it and cut it. Put on bird house, another doll, missing one...

Found cushion. How did you steam it and pound it?
Cusion comes from locked cupboard in green room- take doll and cusion, put liquid from bottle in jar. The girl you have your "items" (not dolls) will give you akey for the cupboard in the kitchen.
Steam, pound and cut the dough and put it on the bird house.

okay i musta f**d up because i saw the doll under a white blanket looking thing, took the dool but not the blanket. it was in the corridor closet. the green room closet was bare. so i have to have the glasses on or, space suit, or jus regular?

I can't remember what worked. I just started hitting it with items in the inventory (not dolls). We don't have that many.
why does the girl move from left to right in our inventory when we do an "about"
Michele, next you follow Niff's instructions about using cup to get stuff from the bottle. Cup will turn pink.

I am not sure why she does that, but she does give you a key to the cabinet in the kitchen.

Take the cushion back to the kitchen and use the key to open the cabinet. The steamer is in the cabinet.
so you need the suit on to go behind the rock, that gives you the white dough cushion whatever. it also turns your water from blue to pink. Where do we pour this pink water????
Cushion actually looks more like a pillow to me. It comes from the room behind the girl.

Open kitchen cupboard and take out steamer, use the dough/cusion on it. Go to room with 2 doors, pound dough on wooden, brown thing, cut with knife and put on bird house

Michelle, take cushion to kitchen and use on the pot in the cupboard. It will be steamed and you will get a piece of dough. Take the dough to the room with double room inside. In the right inside room, there is a "pounder", put your dough inside to pound it. You will get a round dough ball. Use knife to cut it into smaller piece and use it on the bird house beside exit.
it only takes like 5 minutes to restart and get back to where we are

Once you steam the dough cushion thing, you take it to the door with the light blue symbol and go into the right set of doors. Put dough into the wood thing and pound it. Then cut it and put it on the bird house. Then you are cuaght up to where I am stuck.

I have a pink cup again. Still haven't figured out what to do with it, though. I have tried everything I can think of.
I just inspect the girl, click on it just once and she gave me a key. I did not remember which item I had highlighted when I clicked on her. I probably had my knife highlighted, so she was scared :)

Ruff, haven't, presume I'm gonna need my last item to get it, or get the combination right from the bottles labled A,B,C (with help from diary at door) to get a message on the blank book in kitchen. I also think we'll leave by the corridor we can't go down yet.
my cup looks like it has blue water. this is how it came never filed it i don't think. in room with bottles cup highlighted and click all bottles but nothing. i must be real dumb!

Breaktime- go to kitchen (purple door) select jar and click pet water bowl, you'll have water. Go to the bottles (yellow room) click bottle so you see pink paper with symbols, select jar again and click paper. Someone suggested you may have to read all the papers in the kitchen first. Hope this helps

I got nothing! I think maybe the girl has to give us something else. Maybe we should get her to drink the pink stuff and she will shrink to become the last doll. Tried to give it to her, but she wouldn't take it.

Yes, I am stuck, too. I tried giving her everything we have left in the inventory, including the space suit. I selected her and tried to use her on everything. No luck. Frustrating! The book by the door inside the yellow room seems to correlate with the bottles, but since I can't read the language...
You can pour the pink liquid in the jug, although nothing seems to happen, I filled the cup again, turned it pink another time and poured it in the jug again. Nothing happened, but it seems the only place where we can use the pink liquid.

Highlight water jug, click top "A" bottle, middle row left character. Bottom left bottle, click top row middle character. Bottom right bottle, click middle row right character. You will have purple liquid. Use the stain paper on purple liquid and get mushroom.
tried checking txt when clicking on each bottle and all same just need to click on any xmall box for any bottle to turn liquid pink but cant make it purple. does one of the books give us any hints about this maybe?

The symbols on the paper by the bottles are Japanese numbers, 1 to 9.
Clicking a bottle and a number probably means how much you getting out of that bottle, the right combination is probably given by the blue book.
ruff tried your combo mine is still pink. did you start with pink or blue water?
Was the water pink before you started? I tried the combo, but it didn't turn my water purple.
In one of the books, a list of date has been mentioned 9/5, 9/6, 9/7, 9/8, 9/9, 9/10. From the book outside the bottle room, there are combinations of A B C pills. I just tried all those combinations and found that 4A, 2B and 6C worked.
Trease, you must discard your pink liquid in the brown bottle in the kitchen, take some fresh water from the bowl before you start mixing the medicine.
Empty your cups on the jug, fill with water again, THEN use Ruff's combo
I have used my mushroom, a message appears when I inspect the brown box. Now stuck again. The girl still won't drink my purple liquid.

Niff, when I have purple liquid, I think I put the stain paper in the liquid, then in the wooden box. I had to choose an option and my mushrooms are crossed out. I hope I did not pick the wrong option.
maybe we have to make another liquid combo for the girl or to feed the mushrooms on brown box
I did as ruff suggested and combined paper with purple liquid got mushrooms and then put them in brown box but they dissapeared in box thats why i wonder if we have to feed them in brown box or plant them somehow
tried 9/10 option on fresh liquid but just ended up with pink again do you think we should try other combos from blue book?

one thing the picture of all the dolls in place seems to say is that the last pink doll is not the one we have in the inventory so no point in trying to convert her unless she changes completely

Trease picked up from Nordinho that this is what symbols above box translate to
"You can shoot", or "I am able to shoot it". But shoot with WHAT?! I haven't seen any guns around here, have you?
Shoot might be for plants to shoot not shoot something maybe!
It is hard for me to quit when we are this close to the end. I checked the translator, but couldn't get all of the symbols. It said, "it increases." Maybe it should be, "shoot increases."
Tried plain water on box but nothing still wonder if we should make another mixure to help mushrooms grom but guess really we have to try and find another unconnected obscure action or reaction!

There are words on the book in the cupboard tat help to open up the door which neded codes to be open. Something happen but the door din open....
