    Has anyone else found the screen at the side of the bookshelf, looks like you can go downstairs or something, I found it once but can't figure out how to get back to it... wish I'd gone down there when I knew where it was again. I can't even remember the screen I was in anymore.

    If you use the blue liquid on the blue book, some symbols light up. Maybe they correspond to the wall hanging thing. I'm running out of ideas here.

    Totally stuck here too but I did find that you can click on the little dolls in "About Item" and see the bottoms which have a faint circular outline. Thought I could put the ying-yang symbol on one but no such luck.

    If you take the yin yang circle, do about item and then click on the brown hexagon, blue bottle and knife, you get red, blue and yellow explosions. No idea how that helps.

    kirsten, for wood use the yin yang on the tree, for soil use it on the soil. For the others you use the items on the yin yang.

    The figurine that you get for unlocking the yin yang has the red hexagon, blue circle, and green square on the bottom of it (which relates to various pages and papers lying around). I think the green square is the next key here.

    Ok, I've surmised that the note from the hexagon cabinet refers to the order the dolls are to be placed on the stand. The three signs under the doll you get for opening the yin yang are related to the signs shown on the list. Trying to figure out the system here.

    It uses a rotating placement system for the symbols. There are 3 hexagons, 5 colored circles (from poster), and 4 colored squares (from book in cabinet). I believe I should know the order of all the dolls now. It's just a question of figuring out where the other 2 dolls are and finding a way to expose the symbols on the bottoms of the first two dolls.

    breakthrough! On the second shelf towards the middle of the main book shelf you will now be able to pick up a book wrapped in red ribbon. Turn around and give it to the girl in blue. She then says something and then becomes part of your inventory. Examine her and click on the book to receive another doll!

    which is the right order of the dolls?

    I have clicked the yinyang. used fire, water,& metal on it causing it to light up 3 different colors and make noise. I have planted seeds, grew a tree, cut down the tree. put the yinyang in the pot and it dissappears but doesnt open. What an I doing wrong???

    1.fire
    2.water
    3.wood
    4.metal
    5.soil

    @dreamspinnergal: in this order:
    -about item on yin yang, use brown octagon on it,
    -then use water on it
    -then place yin yang on the tree
    -then about item on yin yang again, use sword on it,
    -finally cut down tree and place yin yang in the pot, give it a second and a doll will appear

    lindab: give black book to girl in blue dress, she will end up in your inventory, then click on her for a doll and then use her again to open small cabinet on wall
