Saw a few Japanese notes, got three cards of Capricorn (codes used to review some stars on bathroom wall). Also picked up a few red cards (not shown in the inventory) but saying something is opened.
i guess we have to find all the zodiac cards

i seem to remember a chessboard of some sort with code on it, but can't remember where i found it
it was in one of the cupboards in the kitchen (you put the blue cards on the tiles in the bathroom)

In the first room "closet" there is a purple thing that moves if you click on it carefully (if you aren't careful the closet door shuts).
i noticed that also, but haven't been able to do anything with it either..

i found one under a rug in bedroom, one when i drained the tub, and i think the other was in the fridge

lani, yes. take the 5 cards to the bathroom when facing the tub turn left. Use the cards on the wall to get part of the code.
Any hints on the password? Paper seems like the logical answer, but it's not working :(

you need a number at the end of the password.

for once in these games, i would love to open up one of the scrolls and understand what the heck is being said! the rooms are always the same, just different clues. but in a language i can't understand! i know i'd have more fun with this series if i could understand the language!

ruff, i think so. i go to the sofa room thne i clik once to the left and i see the sliding glass doors. but to tell the truth, the directions are difficult to really work out...

I'm stuck. I lost track of all the red cards I got and I only have two blue cards.
Found the last red card! Entered the code! Now to find the out door!

michele, I replayed the game and now I see the corner of the card sticking out. The sliding thing is a window. There were snow flakes before this card appears. I did not use it to get out though. I think it may be the other half of the note behind the green pepper.

I made it! I don't think it was the room with the sofa but it was one in that wing of the building. Thank you everyone! I recently discovered these games and am really hooked. I've never escaped without help, but I'm getting better...

Michele, go out the door beside the sofa and go straight down the hallway. The room at the end is the kitchen.
for the kitchen click opening to the right of sofa. you will see 3 doors. it is the one straight ahead.

greenmama, the password consists of 5 letters and 1 numeric digit. The 5 letters from bathroom wall and the numeric digit from the washing powder in the bathroom cabinet.
we got pummeled with snow tonight and several events were canceled. everything stopped for hours...very cold too

I'm in Hartford, CT area...we got 8 1/2 inches of snow at our house. Cold but not too bad. Very pretty outside now.

those cards just wrote some this zodiac people's personality and which famous person was born in this zodiac ...something like this..
Michele and Bet, I noticed that there are some dependencies in this game. You must find all 5 letters and 1 numeric digit, find the note behind the Christmas tree in the loft area and watch the star pattern from the loft window. Find all red cards to open the code box. Then enter code. If you did not do all these steps, even you have the code, the password will still be wrong.
Michele, you definitely have to get something because the door is locked at first. I read the posts and was like what kitchen? Finally found it behind that locked door.

ok, in the kitchen ( i had to open box by tree when light was on)
I figured out the one by the tree is for the kitchen the one for glass cabinet is behind stove and the one in the glass cabinet opens the pass box. I'm bored. Can you tell?
ooohh ok I think the only thing that I must be missing is the lucky # 8, do I have to find that, sorry for all these questions, not to good at these games today.

no chuck i'm still working on it. got all blue cards. i'm at the bathroom wall and i know that left side up & down is 1 -8
left r-l is a-g correct? but do i have to press anything to activate the wall?
Michele, I think you need to click on the tiles that correspond to the coordinates on the blue cards. The stars and lines will show up the same as what you see from the skylight at the top of the stairs and will show letters at the stars.

ok, I'm back. Michele click a blue card and then the ? to see what space it goes with. When you get all 5 there will be a code on the wall.
Michele, the tiles should show the stars as you get the cards. Are you clicking the tiles and getting nothing? I'm not smart enough to pinpoint the coordinates. I just clicked around until the stars showed up.
chuck i did do that. i clicked the caards so i know their placement, then i clicked the tiles but nothing happens... hummm
did you have each card selected when you clicked on its coordinants?
ok found the problem - with help from your hint lah the coordinates don't start right at the left most column, they start one column to the right, now i have stars thx both of you

For those that havent played this series, you need to find RED card to open stuff and BLUE cards for the game.
Search everywhere, several times, as locked areas become available as you find the red card.
Living room
Red card on shelf
Blue card right side of glass cabinet (and a locked red card)
Exit hallway and right up stairs. Watch show and red card from box.
Bathroom
Down and right of stairs
Locked cabinet at present.
Enter wet room (blue door) and pull plug for blue card. Note tiled wall on left, we will use that later.
Bedroom
Left and get red card behind boots, blue card under blanket, and another red card behind jacket hanging on wall.
Exit bedroom and go down hall
Kitchen
Red card to the right of the cabinet. Blue card in fridge. Facing door the dresser and the right plate has a secret locked panel. Open wardrobe and see checker board clue. (Remember the tile wall?)
Exit kitchen.
Living room
Glass cabinet now open and final red card
Bathroom
Cupboard now open and reveals lucky number.
Wet room and the tile wall. Click a blue card the the card with ? and it will reveal a code. Remember the checker board code. Letters across the bottom and numbers up the side. Click that tile and continue until you get the final code word.
Kitchen
Go to plate in dresser and click three times to enter code work and lucky number. Press big star.
Exit kitchen and go to end of hall way.
Living room....exit!
