How do you open green bag in bedroom closet?
Found another key in closet, works in bottom drawer case of gun cabinet.
I got: lit candle (combined candle with matches), key, nickel, gum, roped plunger (combined book with hair to make rope then rope with plunger), and a tooth
Have opened the box in the gun cabinet, but can't pick anything in it up...hmmm. I like the look of this game, and the 'hidden' places, but have a feeling I'll just be going in circles very soon! Lol
My second key automatically combined (more like laid over)with my nickel. Did this happen to anyone else or is it just a glitch?

Alimax, that happened to me too with the key and nickel.
The gum is under the table (sort of in the corner of the screen i think)
No I think the nickel was selected and it used it on the door.... wasn't really paying attention haha

I used a key, can't remember where I found the key though.

You can use a key to open a box of shells for the rifle. although i haven't figured out to actually get the rifle, or how to pick up the shells. I can't seem to pick up anything i need!
@krystina: open the chest, get screwdriver, unsrew the ventilation door (the little door next to stairs), get the right key for gun cabinet

i got a lot of things, its automatically got in the green bag (should be on my back thus i can't see them anymore). Now i got key and checklist in 1 position, axe and gum in 1 position (may be buggy), and a pluncher bow
for the sandwhich, hightlight the knife and try a few clicks (maybe pixelly)
i figured out that i had to go back and get the clothes, but where is the hatchet?

What do you combine the roped plunger with? I think it's supposed to be the tuning fork but it's not working.

i had clicked on hatchet before i got bag like a million times and nothing happened....now i have the bag and now ofcourse i have the hatchet:)

ladder is behind fireplace, you need the shotgun for the back of the fireplace to open.

for slingshot you need tuning fork and the unmentionables:)
for slinghot combine tuning fork and underwear, then plunger/rope combo. for rope get hair out of bathtub, then read braiding guide and click hair

to get hatchet, you need the green bag, then cooler to make sandwich and use knife to cut ingredients
there is a secret room to the left of staircase upstairs computer sais you died then get underwear from under door.
hatchet is in lab on right of desk in wall.the cursor changes into hand
use pocket knife to cut bread tomato and take ice.combine to get sandwhich
you have to get bow and arrow thng(slingshot and plunger thng combined) to get out after breaking window
combine the hair and book to get rope

Hi guys, I'm way behind and somehow I missed something.. You lost me with opening the box in the gun cabinet! I have only one key (from box in ventilator I guess) but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere.. All I have left in inventory is burning candle, roped plunger, one key, gum, nickle and knife. Help!

ROOMS:
Front Door/Welcome Mat
* Underneath the welcome mat is a KEY
* Using the key, click on the keyhole on the door
* After unlocking the door with the key, click the doorknob to open it
Entryway
* In the pocket of the Jacket is a KEY
* In the Trunk on the left is a SCREWDRIVER
* In order to obtain the Screwdriver you must first unlock the trunk with the key found behind the refrigerator in the Kitchen
Living Room
* Under the far right cushion on the Sofa is a NICKEL
* Open the grate/vent on the left side of the wall using the Screwdriver found in the Entryway to unlock the screws
* Inside of the grate/vent use the key from the pocket of the jacket in the Entryway to unlock the box
* Inside of the box is yet another KEY
Dining Room
* Take the CANDLE in the Dining Room
* Click on the bottom of the Tabletop to see underneath of the table. There is some GUM hidden on the bottom right side of the screen. Take it.
Kitchen
* Click in the space between the cupboards and the fridgerator on the bottom right corner of the fridge. You will find a KEY when looking at a close-up behind the fridge.
* When the fridge door is closed, click to the left of it. There is a hidden space in the room with a door to the basement. To go downstairs, combine the Candle and the Matches to get the LIT CANDLE. Make sure it is selected and you will be able to go down to the basement.
* When you have found the Checklist, the Duffel, the Cooler, and the Knife, make sure that the knife is open (selected). Take the TOMATO and the BREAD. Also take the ICE, although you do not need the knife to take it. You will not be able to pick up these items without the aforementioned items.
Basement
* There is a rock in the middle of the wall. Clicking on it will reveal a POCKET KNIFE. Take it.
* The mousehole is just for gags. Don’t worry about it.
* One of the books on the bookshelf (in the middle and on the right- standing up) will give you the recipe for the ICE SANDWICH.
* In the bottom right corner of the wall, there is an arrow pointing to the right. Click it. There is a hidden part of the room to the right.
* In the hidden part of the room, use the key found in the grate in the Living Room to unlock the shotgun case. Take the SHOTGUN
* If you have the Duffel, click on the bottom right corner behind the shotgun cabinet to look behind it. You will find the COOLER.you don’t have the Checklist, you won’t be able to pick it up yet.
* If you have the Duffel, open the drawer to the Shotgun Cabinet. Using the Key found in the closet in the Bedroom, unlock the box. As long as you have the Checklist, you will be able to pick up the Shotgun SHELLS.
Upstairs Hallway
* There is a hidden door to the bottom left of the stairwell. This is the door to the Shotgun Princess’s bedroom. You will get a message that says you were “…eaten by a grue.” It’s okay, just click out. Underneath the door to her room you will find the UNMENTIONABLES.
Bedroom
* Under Pillow is a TOOTH
* To the right of the bed is a slight brown rectangle. This is part of the closet door. Click it to see it close-up.
* To unlock the closet door, select the nickel and click the knob. This unlocks it. Click on the door to open it.
* If you have the Duffel, open the Knife (select it), and cut the bow on the present. Take the MIRROR.
* In the closet, on the right side of the Hanger Bar you can see a KEY hanging on a wall. Take it.
* If you have the Checklist, you can take the DUFFEL. You need the Duffel before picking up any other items on the Checklist.
Bathroom
* In the tub drain is the BATH HAIR.
* Next to the Toilet is the PLUNGER.
* In the Cabinet under the sink are the MATCHES.
Computer Screen
* Getting this screen is necessary to the completion of the game. After viewing this, you will see underneath of the door that you clicked, a pair of UNMENTIONABLES.
Library
* All of the books on the bookshelf are facing one way EXCEPT for one Red one toward the bottom. Take this. It is the BRAIDING BOOK.
* There is a secret passageway leading to the ladder through the fireplace. To open this, you need to put the Tooth in the Skull and the Shotgun on the Mantle.
* Remember to get the Shotgun back after getting the Duffel.
Ladder
* In order to proceed to the Laboratory, you need to fix the broken rung on the ladder by using the Gum.
Laboratory
* On the Desk is a CHECKLIST and a note from the Shotgun Princess’s father.
* On the floor to the left of the long counter is the TUNING FORK.
* After getting the Duffel, on the far right wall, you will be able to pick up the HATCHET.
ESCAPING THE HOUSE
After all of the items from the checklist are retrieved (excepting that the Hatchet is not on the list yet) and the items are combined and you have the Plunger Bow, use the Hatchet to break the window in the Upstairs Hallway. If you have the Plunger Bow and click through the window, you will… ESCAPE HER HOUSE!!!
PS: The game is buggy, had to start again 4 times but the info above = copied from the game's site and will hopefully help some of you!

Hey guys! I the guy who made the game! I'm glad you all like it! I know it's a little buggy, though. There was a problem with the preloader that's being resolved right now. Currently you just have to wait for the whole game to load before hitting the "start" button on the menu. If you run into things doubling up, that might fix the problem. Oh, and a hint, some items you can't pick up until you find a certain checklist from a certain someone...
