click on the double doors, there are pictures of old men, some how click one one of them and gave a gold fish. first put the salad in microwave them click on it.
You can click the door for a new room - found screwdriver.
And I'm missing my bag of water...I must have accidentally used it somewhere!
Also, there's a stick and hoop thing on the window

Found a red thing and black wing. You need to give the objects to the old men in the wardrobe and objects get set up on the table.

In the same scene, grab the green "hat" from the plumpy face on wall.
gave the bat wing to the guy in the middle bottom row and he disappeared and now there are some sort of red objects on the table?
hmm when i click on the door handle it takes me back to the right room?!

seems like every time i click something disappears and something else appears in my inventory. I wish i knew what it was i was doing...
i gave every man something and now table is full with stuff...the only one i 'm missing is what to give to the oldman..and i have a goldfish left in my inventory
Alimax yes that's the room. The game is quite confusing because as you pick up things/move forwards, other areas become unlocked automatically.
Feline - for batwing put salad in microwave.
Red thing - I think this was in the grill next to the table under window. At some point I was able to move the grill off the pot and get the stuff inside.
I THINK i filled the bag with water when I clicked the faucet cuz it turned blue, then I used that (maybe the bag was really a rag that needed to be wet) on the window to get the stick with the ring.
Use paint brush on canvas to get black number 2.

Nhiladred - yep that's roughly where I am. I also have a red fountain thing. I think this may have been from the safe.
i think you're right zoz because before i had my fish highlighted and it wouldn't do anything but then i highlighted the blue cloth and i got a cane and some other type of stick and I could get into the other room.
How are you doing bet?

bet you have to give the sardine to the cat - inside the door unfortunately. Try getting the thing off the window, or failing that click randomly with the bag selected ><
i feel sooooo much better now that i have a screwdriver!
use wet rag to clean window, get thingy to take the red "scarf" from grill thingy next to kotatsu...after that i get to the room with cat...numbers for cabinet: 2 black, 4 pink, but blue i just tried any till it opened
Clicked bottom left panel of the window with fountain selected. Got hook which I gave to the old man. Now stuck with a goldfish...
Used skewer on side table next to dinner table and got a scarf to give warrior.

What to give sitting man?
Kerry are you talking about the cane? I already got that but I still have my fountain. and techinically i used my goldfish with the fisherman guy but it stayed in my inventory. DOn't know if its useful or if its a glitch.
Got a maraca in the top cabinets in kitchen to give guy on top left. now just stuck with old man on bottom left.
never saw i already had a cane in my inventory, give cane to oldman and..that was it?mm dunno, is there some other ending?
Oh, I got a hammer from top cabinet in kitchen and gave it to old man. Placed fountain on red things on table. Now I have a sardine left... Shall I exit like this? Perhaps different endings?
i fixed the handle with the screwdriver but still couldn't open the cabinet, but I COULD move the grill and get the red thing, but I lost my little fountain in the process. Where is the logic here??????
Alimax, I gave my gold fish to the cat and showed the sardine to the one that gave the salad.
Feline you can exit now...maybe the sardine and goldfish are interchangeable? I think it may be a glitch cause i remember giving the goldfish to someone too...
AH! good job with the fountain feline! I also have a goldfish left and still one more person to give something to. bet the stick is either for teh old man or its to get the fountain. you get two sticks from window. i think one is a cane (that is the one you give to the old man).

@zoz, I didn't use the fountain to find things. I placed it on the table, on top of red gifts.
The red fountain goes on top of the red block on the table....maybe you already put it down?

@lush113, I was facing the table where statues were and tried to click the star to go left and exited the game.
i can't find it either lush! haha. it looks like the only place to exit is the door to the left of the table where all the objects went but it doens't want to let me or the goldfish out.

@youcef, there's a pink number behind the spatula in the kitchen and you get another black number using the paintbrush on the canvas in the room with the table and gifts. I think we all just guessed on the blue number...

And what did I get for that? A headache! And one less night of sleep! Aaaaarrrggghhh!
This is a New Year celebration. If I remember right, the little statues on the table represent lucky spirits. You find odd things in the house that fit with the spirits - the warrior having a belt, for example, the sage with the hat, etc. Then you go into the "closet" area (a shrine?) and give them to the lucky spirits, and in return they leave you a gift (probably a traditional thing) on the table.
The cat and the fisherman both like fish, so it doesn't seem to make a difference who gets which one.
The "bag" looks exactly like the cleaning cloth I've seen in other Japanese escape games.
It isn't a new room, it's a new area next to the dinner table in front of the window. It has a cat, a space heater, and decorations on the wall. Makes sense that the cat is sleeping in the warmest spot in the room... :)
This was fun. I'm going to play it again to see whether I can figure out what sequence some of the things need.

WALKTHRU
Go round to kitchen (you may look in wardrobe) and get a bowl from the drawer, FISH from the top and bag from the drawer.
Select the bag and put under tap and it goes blue. Note the RED number under the spatula.
Go to the window and use the bag to get a skewer and CANE with a hook.
Put bowl in microwave and get a black WING.
Click door handle by microwave and get screwdriver. If you cant open the door, check you have done the above actions. Get green DISH from head of figure on the wall.
Go back to the table and use skewer on bowl and get a SCARF.
Use screwdriver to fix handle below microwave and you can now open the top cupboard to get a yellow BALL.
You should have six items in your inventory
Go to wardrobe and give items to the men
Top left purple gets the yellow ball
Top middle blue gets cane with hook
Top right red gets scarf
Bottom left green gets green dish
Bottom middle gets black wing
Bottom right gets the fish, and you get a goldfish, fish still shows in inventory, ignore it.
Go to cat and give it the goldfish and get brush and see safe.
Use brush on wall hanging by wardrobe and see BLACK number
Enter the two numbers on the safe (guess the other number) and get a red fountain.
Put fountain on red figures on table and exit left.
don't feed the fish to the cat before offering the fish to the Gods lol
