opened vent with crowbar found under green couch and got a paint brush

Just got here and new game! yay!
got scissors, green and red paints red key under doll, crowbar(used on vent) and paintbrush. Now stuck! Noticed black arrow on cupboard by front door.

the puzzle is actually easy this time. put paint on paint brush and got pictures on the walls. wheres the other half of the scissors??
Painted three of the paintings, got colored geometric shapes. Still need the blue key and the blue paint tube.

ok, this might be a dumb question but... how do you paint the pictures? i have all the colors and the paintbrush. i can put the different colors on the brush but not on the pics
are you highlighting the paintbrush then picture?
Not getting the numbers from the colored pictures. The red looks like a 6 or 9 and the blue looks like a 3 but what are the yellow, 7? and the green?
@ nypooh-click on a color and then brush and then highlite brush to paint.

To get the order of the numbers, notice the arrow pointing up on the cupboard by the door. Follow this arrow upward and click where the wall meets the ceiling. The colored squares indicate the order of the numbers.
I wonder where the scissors can be used...
