This is the riddle not an escape game. Only for the Japanese

So no point us trying to solve riddles in an unknown language :(

Tania....not nice from them :(

ooh live?

ah haha. nvm. dont understand anything

what is the quastion

Dammit, why do they post the serious information in Japanese, yet the other information, like, start, load, etc is in english?
Room 1, I am stuffed, I have 5 as a clue in a book I cant read. The computer is asking for an answer to a question I dont seem to have....aaahhhhh

i dont understand a thing. why dont game makers in japan makes games in english? dont they know english?

Hate to be the voice of reason here, but not EVERYONE knows english and it is ok if they don't want to translate every game. It's really nice that they translate games in the first place. But I don't think in any way that it should be expected....

CHICKIE3737,
why dont you translate? since you know sooo much about everything? MISS KNOW IT ALL?english is the INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE. every document, game, anything published should be english when its formal. duh..

@cuity
You are wrong. No one HAS to translate anything into English. This is not a "formal" document. It is a game and therefore not subject to your view of how the world is supposed to work. If you don't like it, stop playing escape games. No one is forcing you. And insulting chickie3737 for your interpretation of how things should be is not nice at all. So, maybe you are the one who should be more open minded.

for cuity

to ALL THOSE WHO ARE HERE

AND vainly protesting
THIS IS NOT MY RULE. CHECK THE UN RULE. IT SAYS ENGLISH IS THE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE . OFCOURSE YOU DONT KNOW THAT CAUSE YOU BUNCKED OUT IN SCHOOL.

A GAME IS A FORMAL PRESENTATION. HENCE IT WOULD HAVE TO BE IN ENGLISH.
AND AS FOR ICESEX.....
TAKE AN ENGLISH COURSE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? I AM SPEAKING VERY VERY SLOWLY SO YOUR BRAIN WILL CATCH IT.

I am sorry for you-you ignorant

Cya next game folks. Language is too much a barrier for this one...hmm...always wanted to learn Japanese this just gives me another reason to learn. :-)

I just wanted to say.... I am very disappointed in the way this forum took place. We all are from different parts of the world, we are all different customs, beliefs and personalies. We should respect each one, not pre judge them, that is so wrong. I am embarsed for people who do this. It is a shame people do this. forums are for interacting with each other not tearing down someone elses culture. Shame on you.

Let us enjoy the games and each other as we should.

You know if English is the "international" language then why do universities insist on people learning a foreign language? Could it be because not everyone speaks English and therefore cannot be "the" international language. It is "a" international language. But seeing as 4 billion people speak Chinese they would have just as much right to expect everything to be translated to Chinese also. Americans really have to be more open-minded, not all of you, but some of you. And not so ethnocentric. That is the whole idea behind higher education, to make people see there are other ethnicities and cultures that do not really wholly upon the English language to make them be acceptable.

Too bad this is a riddle game, or else I'd translate it, but I am really bad at those (can't seem to figure out first part anyway) and am not as interested if it's not an escape game anyway. >D
Someone in charge should change the category to "Riddle" instead of escape game. I'll see if anybody posts a walkthru somewhere and translate that if anybody's interested...
Good luck!

Flash I shall try and make a Riddle.

リドラーさんには、納得いかない事だらけかもしれません。 Mr. Ridler, full of things you might not understand.
This is the riddle not an escape game. Only for the Japanese. This is the riddle not an escape game. Only for the Japanese.

Since this is a riddle game, it should be removed from this grouping.

Tried to translate looking a a japanese keyboard. No help.

Here is the Babelfish translation:
Whether those which cannot make [ridoru] with Flash it tried challenging. To call [ridoru], to be awesome, the quiz likely… (¯Д¯; ; Perhaps in [ridora] agreement not going to be lazy.

MegiPoland, you should have tried to play this game before posting it. You would have seen it wasn't an escape game. Bad choice.

The symbol at the bottom of the first question means China.

Guys, I already warned you this was not an escape game. Why are you persevering with it and upsetting yourselves and everyone else in the process? Just ignore this game, it is only one game in thousands. Peace!

I have to agree that since this isn't an escape game it should be reclassified or at the very least have a language barrier warning in the introduction... preferably both.

As for the "universal language" comments, I was disappointed to read them. Yes, English is the unofficial language used all over the place, but even as a teacher in the US I have students who can't speak English on occasion and need to try to accommodate them. For those of us who don't speak Japanese... yes, it would be wonderful to know that the games we are getting into have an English translation, but I don't expect it because I only know one (written) language with any proficiency and need to rely on translation tools to try to make sense of other languages. I also feel it would be vain of me to expect others to know more than one language when I really only know one myself. How selfish would that be?

Well... I'm off to see if there is another game. I will share the disappointment that I can't understand this one. I hope my words don't bring hard feelings. I simply want to encourage all of you to express that you are frustrated by the language barrier instead of taking it out on each other.

Snoyarc

to all I WANT TO make things clear.I AM NOT AN AMERICAN, I AM AN INDIAN. meaning i am from INDIA and even the taxi driver in my country knows fluent english language. IT IS THE INTERNATIONAL RULE THAT ENGLISH IS THE FIRST LANGUAGE and we should RESPECT that rule. WHEN SOMEONE POSTS a game in their native language then I THINK ITS REALLY RUDE. NOT EVERYONE WILL KNOW JAPANESE BUT EVERYONE KNOWS SOME ENGLISH. AND WE SHOULD RESPECT THAT.no matter how much the UNIVERSITIES TEACH US ABOUT OTHER LANGUAGES IT IS COMMON CURTESY TO TALK IN A COMMON LANGUAGE .AND THAT IS ENGLISH. I DID NOT COME UP WITH THIS RULE.
HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I POSTED A GAME IN HINDI?
A PERSON WHO MAKES GAMES I BELIEVE IS NOT THAT UNINTELLIGENT THAT THEY DONT KNOW SIMPLE ENGLISH.
RATHER , ONLY A HIGHLY INTELLIGENT PERSON CAN DESIGN A GAME.
SO FOR A GAME DESIGNER NOT TO KNOW ENGLISH IS ABSURD.
RATHER THAT THE PERSON IS BEING RUDE.
I WAS POINTING JUST THAT
BUT PEOPLE WHO ARE DEFFENSIVE TAKES THINGS THE WRONG WAY.

Please realize that only one person is making the "universal language" stink, and yelling it at that! As a native English speaker, I am embarrassed by his/her comments.

Famvir... I'm with you. I just hope others don't get upset with it. How would I feel if someone posted in a language I don't know? The same way I do every time, frustrated, but not livid or rude about it. I hope you have a good day/night... depending on your location.

FOR CUITY: I think you are missing the point here cuity..this game has been posted by someone else and not the originator of the game who has made the game in his/her national language..I am also from India and I know for sure that no taxi driver in chennai speaks to you if you speak in Hindi, which incidentally is our NATIONAL LANGUAGE..Please think before u speak about especially about your own country..Not all Indians are as stupid or rude as you are..I sincerely apologize to all of you on behalf of my countrywoman..

you may have all noticed that over the past few months this sight has change dramatically.....

there are more ads and more non-escape games, and the site owner himself posted that even if we don't like the download games and the non-escape games, someone might, so we shouldn't complain. (no one does but thats aside the point)

the multi game postings are stopping walk throughs being written, who wants to spend 20 minutes writing a walk through when there is a new game to play? and the new live gamers rarely want to explain how they make their progress, they prefer to boast about what they do instead. of course some people are much better at hint and help giving, some even excellent!

yes the site is changing, assumingly due to time and financial requirements.

as far as this "international language" debate goes, one "rule" for this site is that everything is to be posted in english in these threads. says nothing about the games.... the larger argument behind this debate, seems to be hitting on this one world nation policies. diversity provides strength. sure it's handy to be able to talk to everyone clearly, but is it healthy to stop someone communicating in their preferred manor? i think not....

i'm sure there will be some Japanese speaking player come along and totally love this game, and good on the sites admins to provide something just for them too.....

cuity, as my granma always said, first you must learn the rules, so then you can break them well.... adding that in Australia, where i be, predominately everyone speaks english, yes. but over 500 different languages are used in this country, and I've NEVER heard of this international "rule" that english is the global first language. I know fashions of people push this to be so, yet more than half the planet is fighting to stop that from happening, so I'm not sure that the word "rule" applies. I know under half the planet speak english and half of the english speakers of earth speak english as a second language. so logic prevails that MOST people on planet earth don't speak english....

ermmmm, thought this was supposed to be fun......

Guys, stop it. Megipoland posted this for everyone to have fun. Stop bashing her for putting it in the wrong category, it maybe be a riddle game, but if you actually try it, its just like an escape game.

Thank you megipoland for the game, even though I don't understand it. I forgive you :)

I feel like its me that began all this....
was just thinking that if somone could put some english in his game why he dont gave us riddles in english too!
but didn't mean any disrespect for anyone.
zoz hope u were not talking about me when u said "only extremely self-focussed people will actually get upset when they find one they don't like"

Just want to say how ashamed I am of all of you. Its sultry hot and I worked all day where the A/C is broke. This is my time for relaxation; NOT to see the ignorance of players of origins from around the world. I don't recall that these games must be translated into English. It is wonderful when they are but sometimes maybe it isn't possible because the creator doesn't know the English language.

I have traveled abroad on several occasions when I was in the military. It was my responsibility to learn the native language of the country I was going to live in. I didn't expect the natives of that country to know English nor did they expect me to know their native language. However, they were thrilled because I did try to speak their national language.

Its not a perfect world and guess what, we Americans have a lot to learn and so do you who are from other countries. OMG its a game, I thought this whole forum was sorta scary.

World peace? LOL. We cannot even play a game together.

Today, comments are more interesting that the game.

@youcef, no, no, no I was not talking about you! My comments were meant first off to tell Megi what a great job she does and secondarily to scold someone else for being so childish. But this is not the place for scolding, so I'm withdrawing my comment.
@Megi, I still think you do a great job of finding great games for all of us lazy people!

I actually feel like I started this...I just felt that I needed to say it....

i am glad that my comments have made so many people to take notice.i hope that after this experience game designers will think twice before making a game in their native language. there is no wrong in making a game in your language but when it is posted in an international site like this, where everyone is from all over the world, the creator should think of us. i was just pointing that when a game is played by players all over the world then it is INTERNATIONAL and should be in the internationally accepted language, that is english.
and people who are frustrated for not able to play this game took the frustration on my comments. shame on you.
i was standing up for all of us.
but say what you like. in the next japanese games i hope the following people will be responsible for translating it.
chuckie3737
zoz
pebsbrat
maxis.e.heart
snoyark

and oh yes, my dear country women, zanid.

Again, there is only one person speaking negatively, this cuity person (at least he/she is not shouting this time). Best to ignore him/her. Everyone else, from all different countries, have shown an appreciation of the great, free games supplied on this site, in whatever language they appear.

Please do not allow this cuity to spoil your enjoyment of this site. I know I will not.

Hmmmm..............

ummm hi?? i guess
[new]

hye guys pls just ignore cuity and someone post another game :)

@cuity: No I won't be translating anything from the Japanese because I don't speak Japanese nor can I read the language. But I think I can help you a little if you really want to become proficient in English. I'll put my suggestions in CAPS,

"I am glad my comments have made so many people to take notice" - the correct grammar in this statement would delete the word "TO".
"there is no wrong..." - I believe that here the correct statement is "there is NOTHING wrong..."
" I was just pointing that when a game is played" - I think you meant to say "I was just pointing OUT that when a game is played..."
"you people who are frustrated for not able to play the game took the frustration on my comments" - Here, the correct statement in English is "you people who are frustrated for not BEING able to play the game took the frustration OUT on my comments".
"and oh yes, my dear country women, zanid" - in this statement, there should be a comma after the word "and". Also, because zanid is presumably just one woman and the word "women" is plural, the statement should say "my dear country WOMAN"
I hope this helps. No one can be perfect all the time and I certainly am guilty of many, many errors in grammar as well as everything else. But I appreciate that you want to excel, hence the constructive suggestions above.

i dont know what is wrong with you people.i asked if the desiner of games knows english or not.that is my comment. i think the games should be in english for us who dont know many foreign languages. that is my view. WHO ASKED FOR YOUR OPiNION? it is my comment, my view. just deal with it.
not everyone has the same view point!
not everyone has the same opinion!
WHY DOES MY OPiNION HAS TO BE SAME AS YOU GUYS?
i did not ask for your VIEWS?
so?
it is my comment.
if you guys dont like it, dont read it.
no one is shoving it down your throat!
i have every right to say what i think.
i will say what i think.if you guys dont like it, fine. i dont want your comments or views.
this all started when chickie 3737 confronted me.
HOW DARE YOU CONFRONT ME?i did not ask for your reply.
it is my opinion, if you dont like it, fine, dont read it!!
you guys dont know any manners, respect or any behaviour.
very much sad to say that.

Definitions of english as an international language on the Web:

* A term used to characterize the status of English as the world's major second language and the commonest language used for international ...
www.professorjackrichards.com/pages/work-content-dic.htm

yes english is a well known language but there is no such rule as english being THE language. America does not even have it as the national language. Hence america spending billions printing documents in many various languages.
sheesh, cuity if u dont want people confronting u dont put your opinions out there and do some research on ur opinion so u have some facts and dont sound ignorant.

What is wrong with everyone, this is a game site,it is for enjoyment, not to have a go at one another because of difference of opinions, everyone has a right to their opinion whatever nationality they are, lighten up.

thanks reddc. thats what i was trying to say.

Sorry to see that this riddle game is still posted. Pissed off a lot of people as you can read. Megi posts good games, but this one doesn't fit on this site. It's only for japan and NOT for the whole world to play. I got pissed when I first tried to play. Everyone tried to over and over again to translate it to English. No luck. Maybe next time.

Cuity, I understand your frustration that the game posted here was not playable. Several others were also excited to see a game, only to be disappointed that they could not play. You, as the others, are absolutely entitled to your opinions about it. But I hope that you can go back through and re-read the comments. Chickie3737 was not singling you out, chickie was addressing several previous comments at once.

I too, was disappointed that I couldn't play, as I generally enjoy Doradora's games. But Chickie reminded me that these games, posted for free online for anyone to enjoy, are basically a gift from the developers. As much as we may want to dictate how they make the games (no pixel hunts, for example!), it is the designers who put the time and effort into making them, and they can make the games however they wish. I think her post was merely trying to remind us that while we may not always get our way, we can still be thankful for all the game designers that are out there making games for us to enjoy.

This thread went in the wrong direction when you took it personally, and responded by attacking chickie3737 in post #14. The problem was not in your message, it was in how you relayed your message. Please re-read your comments, because you blamed others for taking it personally and being defensive, yet you too were defensive. You blamed others for being offended by your opinions, yet you too were offended by other opinions. You stated that others were taking their frustration out on you, yet you started by taking your frustration out on chickie.

I'm really not trying to berate you here, it justs seems that you were feeling "attacked" and I don't think you realize how others here felt that you were the attacker. This whole thing was a misunderstanding, I'm sure, since we've all played live games together and got along just fine. In the future, it is fine to state your opinions, but if someone states a differing one, there's no need to take it personally, get offended, and start throwing insults. This site is wonderful, and all the posters who contribute here seem to have a genuine interest in being helpful. Let's keep remembering that, since we'll all be meeting up in future games. And I look forward to seeing you, as well as everyone else here, in the next ones.
