so far seems like random clicking, since none of the items i've "found" looked anything like what got crossed off on the list. i hope this gets better...

where is the thimble?? at the dining room
Plane was on the right side up in between the patterns on the wall board.
Thimble was on the right candle (if it was the thimble) or ifnot on the farest chair on the right side (top of chair)

What does the hint button do? every time I press it I cant see anything happening!

Nevermind, on upturned chair leg.
Click map in bottom right corner of screen to get the + and - to zoom in and out. Click the list button in the upper right corner for a list of things to look for. Most of the images are just the object’s outline. If you use the hint button (you have 3 hints per level), then make sure to zoom out where you can see the whole room.
Level 1
Cat -- end of left banister railing
Cane -- on the top of the railing in front of the middle door on the second level
Sail boat -- toward the right side of the back painting
Smoking pipe -- phone where you talk into it
Cooking pot -- in between railing rungs on the second level on the left side (almost straight up from the black hole in the wall)
Cow bell -- on the wall to the right of the left door in the brown part of the wall
Volleyball net -- floor in front of the stairs
Pie -- right cloud in llama picture
Fly swatter -- on the railing rung where it goes up to the right (diagonal from the left round picture over the phone)
Candy bar -- right side of second step from the bottom
Level 2
Dentures -- on the pasta spoon in the cup on the island
Tire iron -- in the window where the panes meet as a cross
Match -- on the string for the door shade
Harmonica -- blade of the knife sticking in the cutting board
Wallet -- on the right side of the newspaper to the right of the door
Telephone -- the receiver is on the top of the home sweet home sign beside the door
Banana -- on the towel hanging out of the sink (in the middle where is folds over the counter)
Lip stick -- handle of the upper cabinet door over the knife
Lollipop -- in the middle of the three black measuring spoons on the island
Penny -- handle of the top drawer to the left of the knife blade
Level 3
Rabbit -- front of the lady’s dress in the portrait
Paper plane -- in the design that runs around the room between the levels; look at the design on the right wing of the room above the middle column. It is on the right side of that design.
Bell -- in the design that runs around the room between the levels; look at the left design in the middle section of the room. It is the right top part of that design
Bird house -- in between the closest and middle knobs on top of the first full chair on the right
Thimble -- on top of the right candle
Band aid -- handle of the butter knife closest to you on the right side of the table
Golf putter -- to the right of the middle column on the left side (below the map frame)
Pliers -- on the chandelier to the left of the center on the bar that attaches the second and bottom layers of the chandelier together
Baby bottle -- the furthest knob on top of the back right chair
Octopus -- on the map (left of the portrait) just to the left of the corner column
Level 4
Fish -- the reflection on the third light bulb from the bottom on the right of the mirror
Sandwich -- middle of the front of the hamper
Plant pot -- just above the empty toilet paper roll
Butterfly -- in the bow on the don’t forget to flush sign (to the right of the knot)
Pizza slice -- on the faucet spigot where it almost meets the wall
Snare drum -- cap of the medicine bottle closest to the toilet
Cotton candy -- top left of the towel where it bends over the towel bar
Chains -- top of the hamper
Pacifier -- bottom knob of the ceiling light
Chess pawn -- left part of the handle on the middle vanity drawer
Level 5
Snail -- looks like a rock above the upper left corner of the rug (below the martini towel)
Spring -- middle section of the air vent over the stairs
Pan flute -- pipes over the water heater near the top
Button -- knob of the door under the stairs
Martini glass -- sideways in the towel below the bottom railing
Hair pin -- in the wood grain in the upper right corner of the table with the saw
8 ball -- on the circle design of the farther shoe
Horse shoe -- upper right corner of the floor rug
Film - patterns of squares at the top of the water heater (just below the line of circles)
Dice -- top of the bottom rung of the railing
Level 6
Machete -- underside of a shelf above the open Once Upon a Time book
VHS tape -- bottom shelf of the right bookcase closest to you
Lizard -- brass line at the bottom of the closest red pole between bookcases
Flag -- back of the third shelf of the closest bookcase to you on the left
Roller skate -- right eye of the mask
Duck -- bottom right tunnel of the ant farm
Screwdriver -- middle of the sheet covering the right bookcases (just below where it forms a point)
Shell -- top design of the middle red pole between bookcases
Plunger -- middle of the right part of the stand holding the gun
Car key -- black part at the bottom of the open Once Upon a Time book
Level 7
Flip lighter -- tip of the wing of the toy airplane in the left box
Balloon -- on the front of the rolled up checkered rug on the left side of the room
Bowling pin -- top of the brown part of the coat rack
Skull -- front lock of the black & gold case
Bat -- baseball bat on the right side of the middle ceiling rafter
Boomerang -- bottom corner of the gray box that is to the right of the black & gold box
Polaroid -- black square on the side of the creepy doll box
Swiss cheese -- the back of the open cardboard box behind the black & gold box (you can see the spots on the rear open flap)
Mallet -- on the leg of the fallen over chair just above the airplane box (on the top right leg)
Baseball -- in the middle of the room. Either you are blind, or you can’t pick it up because you didn’t get all the other items first.
