What do I do with the book?
For the color code, don't start at the arrow, start at "9 o'clock".

For the color code, look in the book (you need a pencil, and it will give you the order of the number on the clock.
Look at the clock and match the numbers to the colors, that is the order for the colored rings.
Where's the pencil?
Starting from 9 didn't work. I better go find the pencil...
I hope the pencil aint the white line by the door cuz I can't pick it up...

That was a typical Sakura...got all the way to the code easily enough, but cannot work out the numbers again....

I soooo love these games! And this one was a bit of the easier ones. No real tricky maneuvering to get the final code. Each number is formed by 3 columns, and you'll notice that the middle column is one space lower. Just mentally 'drag' that middle column up to match the right and left columns (of each number) and you'll see the answer easily.
WALKTHROUGH:
left of sofa for RED KEY
right side under sofa for CANE
left side of shelves for BLUE KEY
below lock cabinet for PENCIL
picture box for YELLOW KEY
in blue locked cabinet for SCISSORS
in red locked cabinet for SCREWDRIVER
use cane on coat hook for GREEN RING
yellow locked cabinet for YELLOW RING
click calendar above picture box, then use screwdriver for RED RING
scissors on blue wire above picture frame for BLUE RING
PICTURE on clock close-up for picture box
use pencil on book for color rings order, then view clock for colors and place rings in that order
CODE: each colored number is a series of 3 columns, each of which has the middle column lowered by one space. Mentally 'drag' the middle columns up, and the resulting blocks will form the numbers for the door code. (if you're really stuck, the code has been posted here earlier)
