Anybody here yet?

yes I am here

I have 2 bits of paper, a book and a red and green clock hand

did anyone have any problems loading?

it took a while but loaded in the end

Blank screen at start...

The game loaded, I got an intro and now just a white screen with nothing to do... Anyone else has this problem?

Alternative link: http://hilgreed.web.fc2.com/fcMaze01.html

After loading, I got blank white page.

I got an ipod from the right speaker using the paperclip from the magazine

mine is still loading, takes a long time...

Got note from VCR using ipod

white page means 'load failed' because of server busy.

loading the alternative link now...

@Wavey was the VCR note the second one you found, or should I be looking for another?

alternative linked worked

have same problem with white screen, now trying link from xenon, takes again a long time to load, i'm very curious now...

@kitatfox the vcr note was the S to L H:M note I think. I also have the top/bottom of numbers note which I think I got from the magazine

loading...loading...aaaaannnndd loading...

thanks Wavey. At least now I don't think I am missing an obvious one.

I do wish the toolbox lock didn't keep telling me exactly what I am feeling lol

hi there frst posting for me...

welcome horst!

Trying to set the compass hands to North East but it's not working

yes i'm in, have a note, red part and green part

look at the backs of both papers and you can zoom in on the toolbox lock

finally loaded! and got white screen :((( trying alternative link. will start around the time you all finish!
btw Welcome Horst K.!

don't worry zoz. Looks like we will still be here lol

I am thinking the code for the toolbox is the one written on the base of the sunflower, but I don't seem to be able to work it out

How do you read the numbers on the sunflower? Looks like a 4 digit code to me, 3219, but the 3 culd maybe be a 6 or a 5, and the 1 could be a 4? But this doesn't work on the lock

thanks David!

now have tape and iron box

anyone smarter than me have a clue about the red box clue?

hi kitkat hi zoz btw where is the magazine?

Thank David. Now for the lock code, and how to charge the Ipod...

I'm here now too.

What's with the instructions at the top.. it says click yellow to select language. Thought that meant it would be in English... or did I click the wrong place?

@Horst K in the view of the clock, click on the chairs and you'll see magazine

I have to leave, dammit, and this looks like a good one! Have fun all!

you can use the hook on the screen and vcr to lock the screen down

@Carib Beano after the intro in the game, click the yellow button, and then you can select English

But WHY, you can't move after the lockdown!

Jitta -- I'm guessing it is something for near the end of the game.

Did you see the 1 or arrow beside the VCR, if you follow it you get to a place where the sound is different. Nothing to knock down the wall with...

Found key! Opened the locked cabinet.

Also, there is a view at the back of the VCR, I've tried putting the hook or box there to no avail...

I read the SL note as shortest to longest and hour and minute. I tried 0215 and 0125, but no luck.

@Elena... where did you find the key?

key comes from clock after putting hands on

I thought maybe it meant the first and last numbers on the back of the second paper, so I tried 0189, 0139, and 0138.

I have got a key, but I don't know where to use it (it doesn't work on the safe/cabinet).

what key pascale? The one from the clock goes in the VCR tape box behind the sunflower.

Wavey, key from clock. I am stuck now with an iPod and metal box. Don't understand the note about SLMH.

The lock says: The first to the last, the search for a mistake is also required. I tried 0249 (lowest to highest "solution" to the sunflower) and some variations, but am not gettig there. What mistake...?

       Anonymous  10/27/09, 7:22 AM

9821 is the coode for lock

Does H mean hour and M mean minute? If yes, we may have used the hint for clock. But what is S and L?

Don't forget the picture on the back of the S to L H:M note with the squares etc on what looks like the toolbox

Kitkatfox, the key from the clock. It goes nowhere.

Breat @lush113 But how did you get that?

So much for my lowest to highest lol

lush113 - how did you get the code?

OK with the code I've opened the metal box and got a broken animation on a memory card. broken the wall and now I am trying to work out how to record a new animation

       Anonymous  10/27/09, 7:27 AM

lol...highest to lowest, just reversed the clue...now im stuck

Wow, lush, that helps. How did you get it?

I got 4:55 from the back of the screen.

I recorded the back of the screen!

chip from iron box into the webcam in the wall to record

       Anonymous  10/27/09, 7:30 AM

Out! :) *pew*

out, but not good end

Out! But I didn't use a code....

got Game End, but didn't use the new code from the sunflower..

Out with good end. After getting the new code, don't leave. Instead, go to the screen and use the hook on the VCR. Raise the screen back up to find a hidden tunnel. Code is for the door.

Can anyone explain the fancy end? I clicked the sunflower outside and my screen went white.

yeah, I don't get it either. The control buttons also no longer work...

Good game though, I liked it.

       Anonymous  10/27/09, 8:17 AM

Wait! I have the code from the back of screen. How do I get this tunnel??? I tried hooking the screen to the vcr and then raise the screen but it won' t go up when it's hooked.. Help!!

And what is meant by second code from sunflower?

where did you use 4:55?

After the intro, click the yellow rectangle at the bottom left of your screen (it’s there with the green and red ones) -- select English

Walkthrough part 1

Click the white and black box in above the shelf on the right hand side
Click off to raise the screen and turn on the lights
Back up
Click the blue and white VCR on the shelf
Click the white rectangle on the blue part in the upper left corner to open it
Get the paper from inside the open slot
In your inventory, click the rectangle to the left of the note for the about item view
See 2 clues
While zoomed in on the VCR, note the light arrow (looks a bit like a one) that appears when your mouse is to the left of the VCR
Click the up arrow and you are now standing on the shelf by the VCR
Click the wall and note it sounds hollow
Back up
Click the pink flowers and then click the pot -- get the red piece
Back up and turn left
Click the corner speaker and then click the cover to remove it -- get the green piece from the bottom right of the speaker
Back up and turn left
Note the clock is missing hands
Click the seatback that is below the clock to look down -- take the magazine
Click through the magazine and find the paper and the paperclip (top of last page)
Back up
Go left and click the sunflower
Click the base and note partial numbers -- this relates to the H:M hint on your paper
Click the chest and see it is locked
Turn left
Zoom in on the projector stand and look under it to see a clue
Turn left and click the square on the left wall near the corner
Click it to open it and see it needs a key
Back up and click the floor behind the seats
Note the toolbox with a lock that needs a code
Back up and then turn left
Click the speaker
Its cover is stuck -- use the paperclip to open it -- get the iPod from the top circle
Back up and turn left 3 times
Zoom in on the clock
Since you have looked at the projector stand and the sunflower base, you can now place the red (hour) and green (minute) hands on the clock by selecting them and clicking the clock circles where you want to set the hands
Set the time according to the sunflower base
(SPOILER2:15SPOILER so red on the first set of circles and green on the second)
Click the gray rectangle at the bottom of the clock
Get the key
Back up, go left, and click the sunflower
Zoom in on the VCR case
Use the key on the black above the silver handle
Get the top right tape and click the top shelf of the case -- get the iron box
Back all the way up and go left to the other corner -- zoom in on the toolbox
Look at both notes in your inventory and turn each over
Once you have looked at the back of the notes, you can zoom in on the lock
Solve the lock code using the notes
The note with the S to L is a hint of the order. The back tells you which 4 numbers to choose from the note with the partial numbers
I don’t get this completely, so hopefully someone will explain the reason. Additionally, the shortest to longest hint is backwards.
Anyway, enter the numbers and click the left part of the lock loop to open it
SPOILER9821SPOILER
Click the lock again to remove it
Back up so you are looking at the toolbox and click the lid to open it

Walkthrough part 2

Get the hammer and the green screwdriver
Use the screwdriver on the about item view of the box and get the chip for the iPod
Look at the iPod in the about item view and click the bottom to see an empty slot
Put the chip in and then click menu on the front -- see the chip can record video
Remove the chip
Go back to the front of the room -- zoom in on the VCR
Look at your VCR tape in the about item view and click the tape to free it from the case
Place the tape
Click the open button on the front of the VCR and insert the tape. Then close the front
Click the on/off button for the projector to zoom back in
Turn it on and see the red clue with the white squares
Turn the projector off and back up
Click the up arrow by the VCR and use the hammer on the hollow wall
Get the remote and see the camera
Place the blue chip in the bottom slot of the camera
Look at the remote in the about item view and click ON (the camera is recording/glowing)
Back up
Lower the screen again and then turn the projector back off
Back up and get the chip from the camera
Watch the new recording in your iPod
See a new time clue
Back up and turn left to face the clock
Click the chair back
Remember the red square from the VCR recording?
The squares are the chairs in the room (three per row on one side and 2 on the other side)
Click the one that would be the red one
(spoilerbackrightspoiler)
Get the hook from under the chair (looks a bit like a W)

Zoom in on the clock and click the 12 rectangle to remove both hands
Place the hands at the new time
(SPOILER4:55SPOILER)
Push the gray rectangle and get the red key
Go left and click the square on the left wall in the back corner
Use the red key -- you get a new code on the sunflower
Save your game using the red rectangle beside the narration box

Ending one -- ignore the new sunflower code and just click the door to leave
Game End

Refresh your browser and load your saved game

Ending two --
Read the code from the sunflower base
Turn back to the front of the room
Lower the screen again
With it lowered, zoom in on the VCR
Use the hook on the loop of the screen/back of the VCR
Raise the screen again (note, if you tried to raise the screen with the hook attached earlier in the game, this wouldn’t work)
Back up and go into the new tunnel
Click the door pad and enter the new sunflower code and hit E
(SPOILER6219SPOILER)
Back up and click the door handle
Fancy end!

Hey Kitkat your walkthroughs are perfect!

       Anonymous  10/27/09, 8:28 AM

Thanks! I couldn't get the clock hands off to change to the new time.

Out! Good game.

Sheesh! I get called away to work... and come back and you guys finished it already.

Nice work on the Walkthrough Kat (as usual).

Only thing I got stuck on... was that my second time code also said 4.55

But when I put it in the clock it didnt work.
I kept removing them and putting them back and eventually it did work.... but the time was wrong.

That is.. code was 4.55 (5 mins before 5pm)
but that code didnt work, until I put it at
3.55pm (5 mins before 4pm).

Still it was a very nice Escape, lovely!
Lots of "actions" ... great work mr gamemaker... more like this please.

Thanks too game-poster person.

the code for the red box:
note says 0123456789 and "movie does not tell a lie".
compare 2 phrases. what's the difference?
ALONE in the Tom's tree house.
ALOHA in the Sam's tree house.
and then think the first letter of number.

Very good game and excellent walkthrough !!!
Thanks a lot.

What a very nice game, thanks so much for your great walkthrough, Kitkatfox (couldn´t finish without it!)
Had the same "time problem" for the clock as Carib Beano had though, but still, very ver good game!!

Thanks again Kitkatfox for the great walkthrough ! Love it when I see you are playing.

the back of "S to L" note:
There are a square, a circle and a triangle in the room.
square = clock
circle = door knob
triangle = handle of white screen
make a room map and put 3 shapes in the map.
draw 2 lines.
-between square and circle
-between circle and triangle
Now you know what that means.

Lol, when you get the Fancy End, after the general credits, click the Sunflower and it'll hop off! lol

I too would like to thank kitkatfox, I don't get in on live games very often, working, so it's great to have such excellent help. Like ellie, I look for you before I pick a game to play.

I am a little confused, from kitkatfox's walkthrough part 2. after getting the screw driver, what do you do with it. i don't understand what she means. please help.

HILG have fixed the wrong clue:D
ALOHA message has been changed to
ALOHA in the Sam's true house.

OMG! I have to find another logic, hehe.

so the difference between ALONE message and ALOHA message is
NETOE
Yes, "NE to E" is the answer of the clock puzzle.

and then divide NETOE into pairs like a the back of 'S to L' note.
You get NE ET TO OE.
You saw the hint "the beginning and the last".
This means "the first letter and the last letter of number".
You get 9 8 2 1 :D

Don't know why the above was removed, Yalçin gave me permission to post these links. If it was 123Bee I wouldn't bother, but this is a Hilgreed! So I'll try again:
