I love Nekonote! I love Find Dwarfs and have been hoping to have another one!! Very fun!
WALKTHROUGH: (warning, I'm still one dwarf short)
view of vase (12 dwarves):
-bottom left corner of shelf
-top right corner of screen
-bottom left of wall hanging, above black edge
-click bottom right of wall hanging to move it and find dwarf at top left
-right flower, click to reveal dwarf
-click vase to move it and reveal dwarf
-click bottom right inside of shelf to zoom on 2 dwarves, and one more hiding on right of screen
-open cabinet for dwarf
-click inside cabinet, move mice to reveal dwarf
-move mice to cake several times to have them eat it and reveal dwarf
view with cat (11 dwarves):
-bottom left on shelf edge
-bottom right on shelf edge
-between cabinet doors
-on cat's collar
-move cat to reveal
-open right cabinet; 1 behind box, 1 under lid when opened, 1 behind balloon when popped
-open left cabinet; 1 up front, click inside to see plates, then lift 3rd plate and 4th plate to reveal 2 dwarves
view with door (8 dwarves):
-on red/brown bar of door
-bottom left of door
-click wallpaper near bottom right of drawer (you'll see a different colored line, very faint) to reveal
-bottom right corner of window
-click window to zoom; 1 on right of screen, 1 behind leaf, 1 in frame (bottom left of top right square), 1 behind first square of 2nd row
view with round shelf (8 dwarves):
-bottom left of circle part
-on frame
-on dog's eye
-click to move bowl
-click under the shelf unit, bottom right side, to zoom; 1 on top right of shelf ledge, 1 behind mouse
-click left of frame to zoom; 1 under frame, 1 back left of shelf and get red key
click on door to exit
So, that's only 39, which is the best I could do. If anyone knows where that elusive 40th dwarf is, please share!!!

There are 4 endings ? Hmmm. I could one find one with the key. Has anyone had any luck with different endings ?
Stella, I think the endings are dependent upon how many dwarves you find. You need at least 25 to exit, and I think that gets you 1 star ending, 30 gets you 2 stars, 35 gets 3 stars, and 40 dwarves is 4 star perfect end.
(While trying to post this I noticed there's another walkthrough - but here's all 40)
Yeah! All 40! Here's a walkthrough:
First view:
Lower left wooden frame
Upper right wooden frame
Behind far right flower
Behind vase
Lower left corner of wall hanging (above black square)
On wall hanging - black dot above swoosh
Inside sliding compartment on left
Click further inside compartment to get one behind right mouse
Keep clicking mice until they eat the cake to reveal one more
Back out to first view, click lower right of closet are (on the wooden floor) - two in plain view and one on the wood on the far right, halfway up the screen
Tricky one: click the wall hanging starting at the top and moving your way down - keep clicking around the bottom to get the hanging to swing to the right to reveal a dwarf near the top. Not sure if it was that exact maneuver that finally got it to move, but it worked!
Go to the right (Cat View):
On bottom left of wooden frame
On bottom right corner of wooden frame
Halfway up divider of black frame
In left cabinet - one in plain view, then click on colored part to reveal pillows
Starting with top pillow, click one at a time to reveal on at left corner of 3rd pillow and one on bottom right under last pillow
Back out and click on right cabinet, click box
One on bottom left behind box
Click on box lid to remove it
One on bottom right under lid
Click red balloon (?) until it disappears to reveal a dwarf
Back out and click round part of cat's collar
Click cat to move it and reveal a dwarf behind it
Go to the right (Window View):
Bottom left of door frame
Middle of red on door
Click lower left wallpaper near door & floor to make a rip and get a dwarf
Lower right of window frame
Click window to put in full view
Far right of screen halfway up
On wooden frame to lower left of upper rightmost pane (does that make sense?)
Behind lower left leaf
Click pane that is 2nd down in the first column to create a crack & get a dwarf
Exit view
Go to right (Dog View):
Lower left where back of circle meets its base
Dog's eye
Behind blue bowl
On picture
Behind picture - one in between picture & its support, one where shelf meets wall
Get Red key sticking out from behind picture
Click right leg of base
Click mouse to get a dwarf
In same view, on top of black base near the wallpaper
Click door in window view to exit.
You get a man shaking his head, 4 stars, a lion, an onion (??), 32 dwarfs plus one big one jumping up a down (what happened to the other 7?), and the note that you are perfect :-).
Maybe one ending has something to do with the tic tac toe game and the grid with leaves ? Uh, or is it really late and I'm starting to think weird stuff ?
Oops, thanks RC. Just saw your post. Good thing I did too. God only knows how long I'd have fiddled with my tic tac toe theory. Sheesh.

FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for a new dwarf game!
LOL! My cats just wandered in and gave the speakers the most puzzled look!
I am so excited that this time I was able to at least find 36 on my own! thanks for the assistance in finding the others! hehe
I cant seem to find the dwarf that is in the lower left where back of circle meets its base
