Hmmm... so far I've installed the light bulbs, turned on the light, collected scissors, an orange hook-thing, a blank page with a fire emblem in the upper right, and a 9 of hearts "robot" playing card.

Oh, and I found a red "coin" behind the light bulb locker and put it in the drink machine on the desk.
there's also something stuck in the crack in the floorboards which I can't get to. Looks like it has the same moon picture as one of the locks on the bookshelf.

I've managed to figure quite a bit out, but that one is stumping me.
use the scissors on the thread, then the thread with the orange hook to get the key behind the desk. the key is for the cuckoo clock.
I got the moon key from the floorboards, now stuck.
tried to plug in the hairdryer, but no use yet

to get the moon key, you need to use the magnetic hook with the telescoping rod.
yeah, I have no idea about the order of the safe numbers yet.

my order was largest to smallest for the safe (I just tried a bunch of combos till it opened)

hmmm.. I think I extended the rod, then combined it with the magnetic hook.
I am so lost, I have blue and red key, yellow/white ball thing, scissors, magnetic hook, fire card, 4 of hearts robot card, and 2 of hearts nature card

did you tie the hook to the string yet? after that, you can extend the rod and tie the hook on.

have tied the hook to string, then get the clock key from behind desk
then have the rod extended
tried to open the hook with string item, then use rod on it, can't combine
tried again to open the rod item window, then use hook with string on it, then the rod just shorten and lengthen

Where is the 3rd coin at?
I think the order is related to the length of the word. Star-4, Robot & Train-5 (so go alphabetical), Nature-6. I just played again, and that was the order both times.
you have to have the rod viewed. extend it, then use the hook on it. keep trying, you'll get out! :D
got it.... I keep clicking for perhaps 30 times, and get them combined
blue coin- jammed in the desk drawer (use the ruler)
red coin- behind the tall cabinet where you got the light tubes
white coin- above the chalk dude on the board

I finally got in, and that was an awesome game! Well done.
Thanks to everyone who posted as they went, I never would've figured it out without your help. As much as I'd love to do a walkthrough, I have to go to bed now. But I do want to offer these tips (for where I got stuck too) in case anyone needs it:
-the metal ruler is in the cuckoo close-up view, click the top of the shelf
-for the hook and the telescoping rod, I also clicked them a bunch of times with no luck getting them combined. finally closed both, walked around the room a bit, opened the telescoping rod, extended it, then highlighted the hook and string, clicked the thin end of the rod (the very tip with the nub) and it connected immediately
-for the hairdryer, once it's plugged in and you see the cord, the dryer is highlighted on your cursor. Just go straight to the blank note in your inventory and about item on it. click the blank space and the hairdryer will heat it. (I kept trying to see the hairdryer in the game, and it won't happen)
-for the safe code, I also got star, robot, train, nature. One of my cards was an Ace, so the number for that is 1

R C, thanks, but I cant plug in the dryer and I dont found the paper (sorry for my poor english)
sorry pierpor, I think the paper was on the board next to the metal shelves. The dryer gets plugged in behind the safe that's on the bottom shelf of the metal shelves.
when I plug in, the dryer icon remains in inventory
yes, it does that. As long as you already have the blank paper, it's ok. Once you see the hairdryer plugged in, just open up the paper. The hairdryer will still be on your cursor, so hold it over the paper and click. Then the numbers will show up.

Turn right and get the desk
Turn right
Zoom in on the cabinet
Click the handle to open it and get the fluorescent light tubes
Place the desk in the center of the room
Look up and place the lights
Turn 2 times and click the switch by the door
Yea! Light!
Click the gray desk to see you need a code and key for the drawers
Open the middle drawer and then the top drawer -- note the top drawer doesn’t open all the way
While zoomed in on the desk, click the back right corner to see something you can’t reach
Click the cracked floorboard to see something else you can’t reach
See the small red drink machine on the desk to see it needs 3 coins
Click the brown cabinet to see the doors and one drawer are locked
Open the top left drawer -- get the blue box
Using the ? under the box in your inventory, look at the box and get scissors
Click the orange magnet from the chalk board
Click where the small stick figure is pointing and get a coin from the top of the chalkboard
Also take the small card from the bottom of the board in the chalk holder (be amazed that the desk moved itself back)
Turn right
Zoom in behind the tall cabinet and get the red coin from the baseboard
Click the cabinet door to zoom in and then open it -- look up
Get the brown rectangle from the back of the locker above the top shelf
Open it (it’s an envelop) and get a key
Zoom in on the gray lockers
Open the top left one and get the fire note
Use the key on the bottom left one to get the yellow ball
Look at the yellow ball in the about item view and click it to see a hole in the top
Turn right
Zoom in on the bottom brown safe to see it needs a code
Click behind it to see and electrical outlet
Zoom in on the bird house and then click the top of the shelves to get a ruler
Zoom in on the bulletin board
See the red card with go away!!
Take the small card in the upper left of the poker note (look at it in you inventory and turn it over to see it is nature card)
Turn right to the desk again
Open the top drawer and then use the ruler in it
Open the middle drawer and see you shook a blue coin loose
Zoom in on the drink machine and add the coins
Click the buttons in the order of the red card from the bulletin board
(SPOILER/GOAY/SPOILER)
Click the gray handle and get a key
Turn 2 times and use the key to open the top middle door of the lockers
Part 2
Get the key and hairdryer
Turn 2 times and use the new key on the large desk drawer -- get the string
Look at the string in the about item view and use scissors to cut it
Look at the orange hook magnet in the about item view and use the string on it
Use the magnet on a hook in the back of the desk to get the winding key
Turn left to the metal shelves
Use the winding key on the clock in the hole above the small doors
When it get to 12, the bird will come out with a new key
Click on the bottom shelf and plug in the hairdryer behind the safe
Use the hairdryer on the fire card (takes a moment to work) and get a code
Also get the yellow key while you are down there
Turn right to the metal desk and use the code on the bottom drawer
Get a duck head and a new card (train)
Look at the duck head in the about item view and see the pin at the bottom
Look at your yellow ball and add the duck head
Get the key
Zoom in on the brown bookcase and use the key on the top right drawer -- get a yellow box
Open the box for a metal pointer
Using the about item view, click the pointer to expand it and then add the orange magnet/string to the very top (this was a bit tricky for me to get the exact place)
Use the magnetic pointer in the crack in the floor to get the moon key
Use the moon key on the bookcase to remove the moon lock
Use the sun key to remove the sun lock
Get the blue envelop with the safe card and star cards in it
Turn 2 times to the safe
Use the safe card to turn it on
Look at your 4 cards
Count the number of letters to know which order they go in
For the train and robot (same number of letters) put R before T
Click the arrow button to unlock the safe (it will say open)
Back up to see the handle, click it, and get the silver key
Turn right to the door, use the key, and leave!
Hint through
Put some light on the subject!
Go where you went first and look up!
Find the 3 colored coins to quench your thirst
Look where he is pointing
You have such a magnetic personality
