box 4 you are playing chess not checkers and the dot is the knight. when you get the king open right side of box
What is the third box nothing seems to work?
For box 3 you can turn the 2 larger dials on the left and right.

The 6th box has me stumped. Anyone have any hints?
I can't figure out 6 at all, even with the site's walkthrough. It says that if you do it right it will make a sound but after i hear the sound i can't open the door. I think my sound means i got the combination wrong!

i noticed it makes that sound after u dialed 5 numbers. no matter which numbers u dial. so i dont think it means u dialed the correct number.
Can anyone make a video walkthrough of the box with 10342? I can't seem to figure it out.
Am I the only one having trouble with #5?
I realize this is a day late, so I'll check back to see if anyone comments. I can't get #5 for anything. The walkthrough makes no sense to me. First it says to take note of the shape of the dial on the left, and that it changes. Every time I've gone into the game, the dial is a circle, and the little part is a circle. What other shape are they talking about?
Next, it says to rotate the dial to reveal more of the shape, to 3 clicks. Well, which is it, 3 clicks or a rotation (which is 360 degrees)? It says to do this to unlock the sliding pieces on the right, but I can move those without ever touching the dial. I can create a gap between the top and bottom pieces, but that doesn't appear to do anything.

There are three symbols, open circle, filled circle, and half filled. Which you will have is random. Can't say why you are always getting the same one.
Yes, you CAN move the sliders at the start. But if you look closely, you should see a feint line in the center of each one. The objective is to unlock them so that you can move the top half up and the bottom half down.
Make note of the symbol that you start on. Turn it three counter-clockwise. Since there are three symbols, and they repeat, when you stop you see the same symbol that you started on. This helps you keep your place.
Now, move the first slider up by grabbing the dark square at the top. The entire slider will still move just as it did before, but now if you grab the light square at the bottom you should be able to slide just the bottom half down.
Turn 3 more counter-clockwise. Open the next slider.
Repeat until all are open.
Now now grab the exposed area in the center and slide the right half of the box to the right, and slide the left half to the left.
Left me know if this doesn't clear it up.
Still wont work for me I can get them all seperated (maybe the two at the far sides need to be done) but still I cant grab the explosed area adn slide it. Nothing works
The chess puzzle Is impossible for me. Im actually too lazy to know how to play chess. looking up knight on wikipedia shows me how i can move but It dosant work! Can somone tell me wheere to move the knight to get to the king?
Turns out I wasnt seperating the slides far enough. Now for that annoying chess one. Hopfually somone can make a video walkthrough Because thats the only one thats not random

@bcordone: The knight moves in a L shape. (or 5 shapes) Example: If starts bottom right corner. go up four and move 1 space to the left.) :D It can be a backwards L or laydown L. Hope this helps you out. :D

Now for the safe. Takes forever todrill holes and i noticed the holl itself is so tiny!
Thank you Aicheless1!! That worked. I was able to separate the pieces before, but not by that much. Your explanation was much clearer than the official walkthrough.
im stuck on #8 and the walkthroughs dont help at all.
For the chess one, you wanna picture the board as an 8x8 coordinate plane, with A-H at the top and 1-8 down the side.
The dot is at A7
From there, you want to click B5, C3, E2, F4, and the King at H5.
For puzzle 6, when it clicks (after you put the code in) you want to pull the top of the righthand bar down and out so it rotates out. Don't try to pull it across because it won't.
I tried all the tricks suggested, and I can´t open the box number 6 ... I followed the suggestions of the game's instructions, any suggestions of related websites and all the ways that I could invent!
I CAN´T OPEN THE BOX 6 !!!!!!!
@Naguera, I went in and read the WT for that level. It worked for me.
Maybe your problem is that you entered the wrong number first. If you do a mistake, enter numbers until you hear a sound and then start from the beginning with the correct numbers.
After the 5 correct numbers (slides with the lever to the left)click the top right part of the box and drag it to the right, making it slide open.
If that's not your problem, I'll try to explain the same thing as in the WT again:
The lever to the left can be dragged and there are 5 different lines to drag it to.
The lines represent the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 from top to bottom.
Now, to know which numbers to use, look at the numbers on the box. Start in top left corner, then top right, lower left, lower right, and last middle.
Take only the numbers from those positions that you are able to use with the left lever: 10342
Drag the lever to the 2nd and release it (that's =1)
Drag it to the 1st line (=0)
To the 4th line (=3)
To the 5th line (=4)
To the 3rd line (=2)
After this you hear a sound (you'll hear a sound even if incorrect).
