where's the room card - and the numbers are associated with stuff. I'm not sure on the first one (yet) (by the window), but my mirror says Australia = 6
oh, and if you care, the pink bag is yours, according to the text at the bottom.

Room card is between the flag picture and the door.

@Trisana: room card: click on the far left side of the door before the colorchange of the wall, somewhere in the middle I think
The countries in the book are France, Denmark, Finland, and Netherland... if that helps.
umm, the flag picture . . . I think some of the flags are wrong, but they're labeled as such:
Left column, top to bottom: Italy, Vietnam, Finland, and i'm not sure.
Right column, top to bottom: Australia, France, Germany, Denmark

found it, thanks guys. So we need four numbers . . .
Right column: first is Austria, not australia
Left column: the last one is from the Netherlands (only problem is the colors are a bit too bright)
I don't read Japanese, but I would think that the flags would be more accurate than the names? Japanese and Korean speakers often get Australia and Austria mixed up (I live in Korea and teach English part time).
I only got #3 and a reversed #6
There is a number behind the right window and that's 9... and I got the mirrored number. That's 6. Where is 3?

Tzechuk, could be. I'll take your word for it, i'm just starting to learn Japanese (2nd semester.) I'm no good at flags, but Austria would fit. Okay. oh, and the mirror is katakana reading Austria (same as by the flag) = 6

well, maybe you guys can help. The katakana it's written in can be romanized as "rikitenshikotain" - there may be breaks, but that's the japanese approximation of the sound. it could be in any language, too. Any ideas?
Hmm I'll try it out, so we're looking for a country right? My guess is that it's more likely to be a European country

I think I've been paged. I'm Japanese. It's almost impossible to solve this puzzle if you don't speak Japanese.

probably. i'm not sure, but that would be my guess. Right now i'm trying to translate the book, but I don't know that many kanji. it's slow going.

Walkthrough:
1. Click on the floor, on the left side of the door and pick up the room card
2. Click on the book and read it: note that there are 4 countries (France, Finland, Denmark and Luxembourg). The 3 under Denmark indicates in which order you have to read the countries, so keep that in mind
3. Go back to the first scene (view with door) and click on the map with the countries
4. Count the number of letters that is besides each country
a. France has 4 letters
b. Finland has 6 letters
c. Denmark has 5 letters
d. Luxembourg has 7 letters
5. Click on the green square next to the door and insert your room card
6. Put in the code: the countries’ order and the number of letters form the code: i.e. 4657
7. Click on those Japanese signs and you’re out!

Extra information:
number 6 (mirror) only gives you a hint as to how to crack the code, the same goes for number 9 (window).
