first! yay japanese!
ReplyDeleteNice! More games!
ReplyDeleteSo far found the room card and 2 numbers...
ReplyDeleteHi Trisana&Tzechuck!
ReplyDeletewhere's the room card - and the numbers are associated with stuff. I'm not sure on the first one (yet) (by the window), but my mirror says Australia = 6
ReplyDeleteoh, and if you care, the pink bag is yours, according to the text at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteLol Japanese :D Let's use our Non-Lingual Skills!
ReplyDeleteHaven't found much. Room card and 1 number.
ReplyDeleteRoom card is between the flag picture and the door.
ReplyDelete@Trisana - I think that's Austria.
ReplyDelete@Trisana: room card: click on the far left side of the door before the colorchange of the wall, somewhere in the middle I think
ReplyDeleteThe countries in the book are France, Denmark, Finland, and Netherland... if that helps.
ReplyDeleteumm, the flag picture . . . I think some of the flags are wrong, but they're labeled as such:
ReplyDeleteLeft column, top to bottom: Italy, Vietnam, Finland, and i'm not sure.
Right column, top to bottom: Australia, France, Germany, Denmark
@Trisana: it's on the floor, so don't click on the wall!
ReplyDeletefound it, thanks guys. So we need four numbers . . .
ReplyDeleteRight column: first is Austria, not australia
ReplyDeleteLeft column: the last one is from the Netherlands (only problem is the colors are a bit too bright)
I don't read Japanese, but I would think that the flags would be more accurate than the names? Japanese and Korean speakers often get Australia and Austria mixed up (I live in Korea and teach English part time).
ReplyDeleteI only got #3 and a reversed #6
ReplyDeleteThere is a number behind the right window and that's 9... and I got the mirrored number. That's 6. Where is 3?
ReplyDeleteHmm you might be right then! I guess we'll have to keep that in mind for later on.
ReplyDeleteTzechuk, could be. I'll take your word for it, i'm just starting to learn Japanese (2nd semester.) I'm no good at flags, but Austria would fit. Okay. oh, and the mirror is katakana reading Austria (same as by the flag) = 6
ReplyDelete3 is inside the book
ReplyDeleteWell I live in Europe and I'm quite sure it's the Austrian flag ;)
ReplyDeleteSo Austria= #6?
ReplyDeleteDenmark= #3
It's hard when you don't understand the language!
Anyone any progress yet?
ReplyDeleteworking on figuring out 9 . . . give me some time.
ReplyDeleteI'll be waiting ;)
ReplyDeletewell, maybe you guys can help. The katakana it's written in can be romanized as "rikitenshikotain" - there may be breaks, but that's the japanese approximation of the sound. it could be in any language, too. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHmm I'll try it out, so we're looking for a country right? My guess is that it's more likely to be a European country
ReplyDeletebook=itinerary
ReplyDelete1st country 3rd country
2nd country 4th country
you don't need to understand the language.
you need to recognize the number of letters in katakana:)
easy and simple game.
I think I've been paged. I'm Japanese. It's almost impossible to solve this puzzle if you don't speak Japanese.
ReplyDeleteHints:
Italy: 4
Vietnam: 4
Finland: 6
Luxembourg: 7
Austria: 6
France: 4
Germany: 3
Denmark: 5
Good luck!
probably. i'm not sure, but that would be my guess. Right now i'm trying to translate the book, but I don't know that many kanji. it's slow going.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hint ??
ReplyDelete@Xenon: Did you get out?
lol Tris
ReplyDeleteOver here, it's not going at all! I'm just gessing and trying out probably unnecessary numbers :D
It's Lichenstein.
ReplyDeleteOmg I got out!
ReplyDeleteHint: Use the book as your basis and the numberorder of the code
ReplyDeleteI got it!
ReplyDeleteCould Escape!!
Ah. Thanks, Tzechuk. And you too, ??. Arigatoo gozaimasu!
ReplyDeleteOut. Got the last flag wrong. Thanks Xenon.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Trisana! Good luck learning Japanese.

ReplyDeleteWalkthrough:
ReplyDelete1. Click on the floor, on the left side of the door and pick up the room card
2. Click on the book and read it: note that there are 4 countries (France, Finland, Denmark and Luxembourg). The 3 under Denmark indicates in which order you have to read the countries, so keep that in mind
3. Go back to the first scene (view with door) and click on the map with the countries
4. Count the number of letters that is besides each country
a. France has 4 letters
b. Finland has 6 letters
c. Denmark has 5 letters
d. Luxembourg has 7 letters
5. Click on the green square next to the door and insert your room card
6. Put in the code: the countries’ order and the number of letters form the code: i.e. 4657
7. Click on those Japanese signs and you’re out!
Thanks for the help everyone!
Extra information:
number 6 (mirror) only gives you a hint as to how to crack the code, the same goes for number 9 (window).
