    ReplyDelete
  15. bah. I thought I had the stone script/coffin thing right, but nothing happened. When I went back to check, my torch disappeared!

Hi Irish! Whoohoo let's get stuck together!

    ReplyDelete
  16. @sunshine: click on the very right part of the screen, a black area and then use torch...

    ReplyDelete

  20. Thanks Marie.
I am so bad at codes. Just spent way to much time trying to conquer the name puzzle only to realize that there are letters missing from every name. DOH.

  21. funny: see what happens if you click the "hint"-button ;)

  26. @irishenigma click the thick edge of the coffin to see the left side. If you click too far, you get to see the bench

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Irish lol I can spell narr. Maybe she will come free us?

    ReplyDelete
  28. What about the letters under "NAME+" ?
I thought that it was un anagram, but I was wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  29. once more: does anybody have something else except of the (not available anymore) torch???

  31. @MarieInDaGame no. My inventory is empty. I even restarted to see if the torch thing was a glitch, but it disappeared again.

    ReplyDelete
  32. so each "name" to the left trades out the duplicate R for another letter. The duplicated letters in the "names" are EDA

    ReplyDelete
  33. rofl @kitkat...great minds...!!!! I even spelled *Narr* ... that is too funny ;) cannot find anagram that works...looked at the left to see which letters were not included but that hasn't lead to any revelations yet...hehe! thanks for the help re: clicking by coffin...kept getting the silly bench... :)

  38. okay...I take that back...*Randler* was not that obvious!!! lol!

    ReplyDelete
  39. have place the lengthy stone rod on the coffin but still unable to open it...still have hammer in inventory so randomly smashing anything i can... 0.0

    ReplyDelete
  40. where the heck did Randler come from?

    ReplyDelete
  41. use hammer next to where the torch was.
    Open coffin and take key

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Irish good thing we got to smash stuff. That game was beyond frustrating!

Can anyone explain the name? I know I am tired and slow today, but it makes zero sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  43. smash the wall next to the torch and find another stone rod for the end of the coffin...right side of coffin...still unable to open coffin???

    ReplyDelete
  44. @irishenigma I turned the flower design on the coffin end (the only one I couldn't tell if it was correct) and then clicked the coffin lid.

I don't know if that was right or not.

    ReplyDelete
  45. hi Tosca :) have the stone rods on the coffin and thought i had the stone script correct but coffin not opening...i know i can't be this dense...lol!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. too funny...@kitkat...thank you! i had been turning the flower design and clicking on the stone rod instead of the lid of the coffin...pftt!!! I need a strong cup of coffee and I don't drink coffee...lol!!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. @irishenigma I need a stiff drink after that game. I'll take coffee instead if you have some (and I don't drink coffee either!)

Glad I could be at least a little help. pffff

    ReplyDelete
  48. @kitkat...lol! sending some *spiked* coffee your way... ;) i was getting read to turn the hammer on myself....gah!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Okay, where EXACTLY do I use the torch?

  51. Waah! Still can't get coffin to open. Too bad the hammer's gone, I'd like to really smash the coffin to the smallest imaginable pieces now. Guess it has something to do with the symbols on the left of the coffin, order must not be right, but can't check, since the torch is gone.
Right now my symbols are set to:
    1. 2 triangles pointing upwards, the lower triangle pointing downwards.
    2. L - L - L up side down
and lower L also up side down
    3. leaves all pointing to the middle
    4. Left E's on their right side, right E on it's left side
    5. triangles all pointing to the middle
    6. keep turning the flower and trying to open coffin, but doesn't work

    HEEEEEEEEELP! :S

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think you know you have it right when your torch disappears.

    ReplyDelete
  53. keep clickin on the coffin from all sides n the coffin opens up

    ReplyDelete
  54. ANAGRAM ANTICS WALKTHROUGH aka how to be frustrated without really trying

    - once again...here you are...locked in a room; this room is very dark with the exception of that burning torch, so...for purposes of the game and because you will need it...zoom in on the torch and take it
    - to the right of the room, on the wall are the letters *S I L E N T* ... yes I know what it spells but because you can change the order of the letters one must assume it isn't that easy...in this particular instance...this is an anagram...re-arrange letters to spell *listen*...clever creator..hmmpf!
    - a wheel is revealed...turn it and the stone wall lifts to reveal a...what else...locked door!
    - that torch has a use for something so toward the top right hand side...in a very dark, gloomy place...click and suddenly you are enveloped in cold darkness...take the torch and noticd the stone script...particularly notice the arrangement of the signs...you will need them again and *fyi*..the torch will disappear so copy them down on paper
    - click to the right of the coffin and notice that something probably needs to be inserted at the end
-click to the left of the coffin *bottom of coffin or you will get the bench* and notice the same stone script except...yes...arrange the symbols to match what you just saw on the wall
    - looking at the left wall you see that you are going to have to find 2 triangular shapes...but we aren't there yet
    - now the really fun part, which you will be spared thanks to Johanna and xtoff...
    - notice that on the wall in front of you there is a *name* puzzle...ah...more anagrams you say? I have my own theory as to how to figure out what the name is but...to save you many many frustrating minutes...rearrange the letters on the right to spell RANDLER and now you have a hammer
    - click toward the back of the bench, on the bottom, and use the hammer to smash the dickens out of the bench leg and find...hmmm...two triangular shapes
    - while you are at it...you might as well find something else to smash...zoom next to the torch holder and smash the heck out of this wall and well...well...a stone rod...hmmm...let's say this will fit in that space at the end of the coffin...
    - insert the 2 triangles into the spaces on the left wall and you now have a *lengthy stone rod*...which of course you will insert at the front of the coffin...
    - since you have already arranged the symbols on the side of the coffin according to the script on the wall...click the lid of the coffin and a key is conveniently lying on what can only be *RANDLER*...
    - key in door...feet step out :)

    Theories and other Ramblings
as an addendum...regarding the name puzzle...my theory is this: the letters to the left in the middle are DARLEND ... since the *arrangeable* letters to the right have 2 R's, I thought one R would go at the beginning and one at the end...using the letters to the left as an example...this is only my thought process but it makes sense to me...lol!!! again...thank you to Johanna and xtoff for the answer...I would still be trying to find an anagram :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Randler ? What does that mean ? this word is not in my English-French dictionary.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Irish I love the anagram antics-- frustration-through!

    ReplyDelete
  57. lol @Pascale...I Googled it but the results only proved that this *word* must have been the game author's way of messing with our heads..lol!

@kitkat...thank you :) POP is always such a huge help when writing walkthroughs...thank you again for your suggestion that I click on the coffin lid...lol!!!! hope you enjoyed the *spiked* coffee I sent ;)

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Irish very much appreciated! It has been a long week. -__- I hope I get to play another game live with you. One that isn't so frustrating in a bad way (since we like games that are frustrating in a good way!)

@Pascale It isn't a word that I know of. I even looked to see if it was a name from Shutter Island movie, which I figure the game name came from.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm playing this game right now and got stuck on the shapes code, so I came by to read a few comments and... I just couldn't help posting!
LOL @irish, it's so fun always to read you!
You certainly make every game a live party, lol.
    Rock on!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Finally out from the game and done with the comments. The first one sucked but the later ones sure made me laugh more than once. Thanks for that! And for the helpful comments as well, of course. Oh, the walkthrough!! ROFL!!!
I did make a google search for that name and it is apparently real, but unusual maybe. Couldn't the author come up with something a little more... sensible? I mean... RANDLER??
@irish, don't go for too long!!!
And the same goes for you @kittie girl!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. hammer+bench leg = smash!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Edgar...lol!!! thank you :) I always have fun with walkthroughs...gives me a chance to inject my rather verbose humour into the process... ;) this was certainly a strange game...actually it was okay except for that silly name...I assumed *Randler* was the emaciated pile of bones in the coffin and escapers murdered him....lol!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. mmm, if this was real life i would of just burnt down the wooden door with my torch...
    out.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Infuriating but there's a walkthrough on YouTube.
