Trick at start: look at number on suitcase, if same as for given code, go on, otherwise restart a new game till you have the same code ;-)

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:13 AM

Very nice game: thanks for all the hints!

maxi.s he.art,
Do you have 2001 on the end. If not it's another year (but I think not cause that was the same for everybody).
Maybe you have to solve the key puzzle first. Did you do that?

yeah, defo 2001, and done the keys, put the code in but nothing happens... might need to take Talie's advice, but knowing my uck i'd get the 18x18 key puzzle that i can't get past... bloody murphey is on my back today

Finally out. Thank you everyone for hints and codes.

Please Could someone to help me?? I have 18 reds keys and 18 blue keys

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:24 AM

Max, put up your whole code. exactly like it is on the tag.

Sorry maxi.s he.art,
don't know what's happening to you.
All I can think of is you maybe messed up the days (maybe tuesday was thursday) (or maybe the motnhs).
And after the code did you click the button under it.
That's all, don't know anymore. Good luck.

no i had year 2000. it differs everytime.
the case code is like this;

first line u have 16 digits.
the last 4 digits indicate the year u have to look
the first 12 digits each represent each month in year.
so

clear so far?
second line is weekdays each with one number.
for example 2St means the second saturday in the month , under which that day is written.

i reloaded again and i'm now swimming with the fishes :) thank you all.

as for FLORA, that 18x18 puzzle had me playing with it for an hour, until i reloaded repetitively until i got a different one...

I gambled fifty times and still got no other key.

Thanks Maxi.... !!! I hope someone could give a an answer ...

@small-tool

thanks Small-tool....I feel like a large tool...I suck sooo bad at sudoku...that puzzle makes me feel ill!

grant, If that's the solution for Wendy it's not correct. You have two 1's and two 2's in the first grid.
My solution for Wendy is on top of this comment page

Oh, you already found it Grant, sorry about the post.

Flora, For an aswer you have to post the grid with the keys. I don't know where your first keys are.

anyone bust the 18X18 red/blue puzzle??? i am dense and cant get it to sink in

about suitcase - which number shows the month and which the week?

That's what I did, it won't open. Any help?
1-2,10,01
2,4,1
Th,Fr,Wd
(whole series: 1-210101101012001)

Under what months are Th, Fr, Wd?
(1=jan. -2=feb. 1=march etc.)

perhaps one of my fellow escapees can explain to me how the red-blue puzzle works so that I can crack this 18x18 mystery myself
hmmm?

If you lose everything gambeling, go back to the starting screen (resort doors) and grab another orange off the tree. You can only take one at a time, but he accepts them to gamble more....

Grant,
All the red ones have to be connected and all the blue ones have to be connected, but...
You can't have 4 same colors together like this;

RR
RR

It has to be like (for example) this

BR
RR

And of course this is ok too

BRR
RRB
BRR
etc. etc.

As usual, I'm stuck.
The only thing I made by myself is the Sudoku...
I have got a blue bottle of something, a chair on a safebelt and a sword. I used the valve on near to the swimming pool but it does nothing.
I made the puzzle with the keys (didn't succeed by myself, of course). The receptionnist shows me some clocks.
I saw the cards game, but I can't zoom on it anymore.
Of course, I don't understand how to open the suitcase.

My code is :
1 -2 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 2 0 0 1
2 4 1
T F W
H R N

I saw in some messages that 2 0 0 1 means year 2001, and that 2 T H means the second Thursday of some months.
I don't understand how these 0 and 1 are months, or is it some binary code ???

And especially, how -2 could be a month ?!

Pascale,
for the suitcase see my 2 previous posts on
19:14 and 19:27.

And the blue bottle goes on the waterpipe 'when' the gambling guy blows out smoke.

Pascale,
They do months is 30 days.
January is 31 days so that's +1
February is 28 days so that's -2
etc. etc.

@small-tool

OH man!!! thanks!!!

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 10:51 AM

Pascale. The first 12 numbers signify the months of the year. 30 days hath september april june and november. the rest have 31 except. february. so first number is 1 that is Jan. second number is -2 that is Feb.. third is 1 that is march.. etc. last 4 digets of the code is your year.
now see what months your numbers fall under.

thank you millions

I wish I could write a walkthrough but this game took me a lot of energy and I'm not very good at walkthroughs in the first place.
But here are some hints:

FOR THE KEYS PUZZLE;
On the note on the desk is how many reds and how many blues you have to use.
The goal is to fill the whole grid with keys and all the reds have to be connected and all the blues too.
But..
(B=Blue, R=Red)

This is not alowed
BB
BB
(and of course this goes for red too)
because 4 of the same colors are connected in a square.
To avoid that you can do something like this
BR
BB

4 (and even 5) the same colors can be connected, but not in a square shape.
So this is alowed;
BBRBB
BRRRB
BBRBB
(not exactly ok, because the blue ones do not connect, but just as an example for the red ones)

FOR THE SUIT CASE CODE;
Why the first row of numbers is months is explained several times (and they do not differ).
It's from left to right months starting with January.
The last 4 numbers is the year (that can be different in every game).
Under the numbers are letters and they are abbreviations of days.
Now look under wich months your days are and look what extra numbers those days have.
If you have for example Monday under June with the extra number 3 (and your year is 2001), then you have to look up (Google) what the date was of the third monday in june in 2001.
Do the same with the other days and you have your code.

FOR THE CARD GAME;
First of all you have to put the blue lotion on the waterpipe when the guy blows smoke.
To gamble you have to give (put on his table) something of your not important things.
Then click him and he shuffles and then you have to pick a card.
You need the Ace. But if you didn't choose the Ace you will have it the next time, because every new turn the Ace goes one place to the right.
So then you win and you can take the money and with the money you can get the key(s) from the lady in the hotel.

FOR SWIMMING
Besides all the things you have to do (being a guest of the hotel and you need to shower and you need a towel), you also have to wear bathing clothes.
To do that you have to click the bathing suit and the flipflops in your inventory so they change into a dress and shoes and then you are wearing your bathing clothes.

I already wrote it. It's
1-2, 2, Th
10, 4, Fr
01, 1, Wd
I'm not sure about the 1st (it writes 1-2 instead 0f 12) but the rest should be

Virginia Sketchers,
The thursday (Th) is under the 1 or under the -2
The friday (Fr) is under the 1 or the 0
and the Wednesday is under the 0 or the 1.
They are not under two numbers (or two digit numbers) because every month is just one number.
Anyway you have to look where they exactly are.
And just giving a 0 or 1 is not enough, before I can help you I have to know what 0 or 1.
But probably you can solve it yourself with my previous comment.

Jan 1 ST ==> 1
May 2 TS ==> 9
August 4 MN ==> 28
Year 2000

Yes Hobbit75,
That seems right.
So your code is 1928.
Isn't it working?

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 1:34 PM

sure it is its the answer of a question above...wish a nice sleep everyone...i´m of to bed bye

Thank you to all people who explained to me the code for the suitcase ! I could never have found this by myself.

I was lost with the months part, as well... finally! I can continue this headache of a game! Why do we torture ourselves so? LOL

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 2:57 PM

Disappointing - I quit because the key puzzle was too hard and I couldn't follow the hints...frustrating. Too bad. :(

The suitcase:
you have the month sequence and the adjust day need to make right number of days
January have 31 day 30 + 1
1
February have 28 days 30 - 2
-2
It gave something like that:
1 -2 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1
And at last you have a year of reference 2001
1 -2 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 2001
And under that you have days
1
M
N
It's for the first Monday of the month were this number is positioning
1 -2 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 2001
1 2
M S
N T
In this case is first Monday of January 2001 and second Saturday March.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Sorry for the second position of the day, the comment donc take correctly the space
1 -2 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 2001
1......2
M.....S
N.....T

I had the 18 X 18 keys puzzle
Here is solution:

R-R-R-R-R-R
R-B-B-B-R-B
R-R-B-R-R-B
R-B-B-B-R-B
R-R-R-B-R-B
B-B-B-B-B-B

These were the clearest year calendars I googled...

Don't like this one....

I can't find the pool plug :( and I don't have a swimming ring. Found another valve in bedroom but can't get water to run in the shower. Got no towel. How can you guys solve these difficult games is beyond comprehension.

Thanks Hermano. I had found the plug eventually before you posted the video - hadn't realised there were more than 4 sides to the pool... one has to keep turning till they see it. *sigh* I got arrested by immigration because I lost my passport due to my mouse sticking. Trying again this evening but can't do the key puzzle.

Yay! I solved the keys puzzle thanks to the additional solutions in the video walkthrough and finally got to see the nicer bedrooms of this hotel.

Anybody playing part 2 ?????
Stuck after the driver went in the car.
