ok need help

aaahhhh....no-one here? i need heeeelp...haha

i'm stuck with a cell phone and a code... =S

and a pencil under the bed which i can't click...

pencil under bed but can not reach it

got a coat hanger but no use for pencil

found another code on white bookcase...

just starting

loading now... are you guys still here?

yes still stuck , no good with codes

yep...still here and stuck...can't do the codes...

just found a key on the bed

there is more than one code written in the red book...still don't get it though =S

The desdrawer needs an sd. Where on the bed Shayla? And where is the phone?

i think cellphone shows a colour code according to the red book, but no idea what for

New game and noone told??
Catching up! Hehe

is the blue thing the cell phone? iused the key from the bed on the locked drawer of the desk

found a code with circles triangles and x's

found a coat-hanger behind the carbinet next to bed

@Edgar, it's easy to catch up...we stuck...
@Shayla, yeah..it is

i think we need something to cut the coat hanger to get the pencil

@christina click the pillow then the sheet to find key

the red book on desk...it shows a code with triangles, circles and so on...there's more...you can turn the pages...

Ah thanks! I'm good at codes but not at pixels.

there is a page missing from the red code book... hmmmm

Cell phone + 1st page of red book = code to the painting that reveals safe

Found safe behind picture

what view is the pencil in... I see the bed but don't see the pencil

Need a SD for desk drawer

How did you translate the shapes into the picture corners?

seems like i can't do the code-picture thing...i see only squares at the bottom...and nothing happens... =(

@Shayla, zoom the bed and zoom again...

The location of each shape on the cellphone matches the corners of the picture. So...

SPOILER ALERT

Push the corners of the picture in this order:

UL UR UL LR LL UR

@evan where did you find the missing page?

@Evan, now I ask... how did you see shapes on the cell phone?

Oh, POP... the shapes are shown when opening the cell phone and clicking on the screen.

This comment has been removed by the author.

View phone in "About Item" - click it once to open, then again to zoom in on the screen.

@stu no SD you need a key =)

For to see the pencil under bed: use handy

@Shayla: I mean second drawer there are screws on left side

Yes you need an SD for the remaining drawer. Look under the desk and then to the right. Is anyone able to look into the drawer behind the chair?

@Christina --

Pull the chair back and click on the drawer

to get safe behind picture use cell phone code with cirlce triangle square code

I can open the drawer that way Evan, but not look into it. It closes everywhere I click it. Can you?

@stu oh sorry... still spinning in circles over here lol

i think code of last page in red book fits with hint on white bookcase, but no idea

I get the same thing as you. I just assumed the drawer was empty.

You can take the COU code out of the book Meani. Using the white book case makes IUA but that doesn't fit anywhere.

Try to find the hint for the note COU.
If you look to keybord 1 is next to 2, 9 is next to 0 and V is next to B, so I tried for COU = VPI but don't work on orange box.

i noticed it too mina.

And hi guys ;) i think i'm as far as you guys now.

This comment has been removed by the author.

@Christina, COU=IUA? What's your thinking?
I could translate COU into VPI or 652 if using it as in a grid.

does anyone know what's with the plant? i can zoom in on it, but i can't find anything...

lol...posting confuses me...

Is there anyone out there that can translate the second page (the one that says "To English" on it)?

V=B means 7 places to the right....

hi everyone,

i'm so stuck haha! can't even find the coathanger..can zoom in but don't see it

Hmm. yes @Christina, but what about 1→2 and 9→0?
I think the key on the right of the keyboard makes more sense... same as Stu did.

@ Christina...huh?

ok got it sorry :D

It starts making sense if we now the first code :-)

Tried 268, 379, 874, 985, 652, 753.... nothing.

i tried to insert the code in the safe on the wall (iua=9211) but that didn't work either...

763 that is.

&christina: huh?

IUA ??? I'm lost!!!

763 wont work for me

763 is also the most logical thing I can come up with, but no go :(

why is 763 logical?

@Meani, it doesn't. Christina is just making a correction for her previous post.

@Nimnis, COU can be translated into 652 using a grid like this one:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
where C=6, O=5, U=2
Now using the 1→2... clue, 652 becomes 763.

@edgar: thanks for explaining it, but i still don't get it. Why can COU be translated to 652??

(i understand why 652 becomes 763 but i'm missing the first part... sorry..)

i don´t realy understand this grid but what, if we have to change it to vpi first and use the number grid after that?

the answer of Kanji puzzle is 水 = water.
no language barrier other than that. good luck:)

thanks xenon!

thx, no will go on

use pencil in red book to get code

found remote, but can not use it

how did you get the pencil?

pop did it

use the 1-->2 clue on the code

meani where did you found the remote?

@Nimnis, try to see the grid this way and insert the numbers in it, from 1 to 9.
┼┼
┼┼
with 5 in the middle, 6 in the middle right and 2 in the top center.

COU are not actually letters, but squary parts of that grid.

And with Xenon's help -- I now have the pencil!

LOL @Xenon :D
Good to see you again!

wait where does water go?

@Edgar: thanks :D now i get it!

use code from book on safe behind picture

Which in turn leads to the SD in the safe!!!

Aha! use pencil in the red book to get a code and use the 1→2 hint to translate it into numbers. Open the safe and get SD!!

I used SD from wallsafe to remove screws under the desk. After that you can open the 2nd drawer (the one that wouldn't open earlier)

Thank you Xenon for "water", have safe now open and have my SD - Yepee

got a battery from the screwed drawer... where is the remote??

found batterie - but the 763 thing don't work???

And....stuck with the clue from the TV (IUL)

Remote is in the gray box with the red cable on it. Cut the cable.

put battery from drawer in remote and turn on tv for last code

someone please help me.... where and how doI use water?

thanks @Evan!!

@Shayla...type it on orange box

@ shayla: use it on the orange safe

@Shayla, enter "water" in the orange toolbox.

IUL... becomes OI; and that doesn't make sense.

i=9 u=21 l = 12 92112 doesn't make sense either..
o = 15 i=9 ;=nothing 159 doesn't work

Can't open green box - any help?

we're trying to find the code now stu ;)

lol..still can't open safe =S don't get the code...

thanks @nimnis

still cant figure out code for safe.

Out. Codes together makes the numbers.

@ peke: how?? I can see 584 in them, but that doesnt work

never mind, i can't even see 584 in them lol

Flip the paper code upside down and put it above TV code (or other way around). You'll see the code.

For me it was 782

could anyone help with safe in wall please???

@Mina, if you have the WufgrIbw.... clue, then it's easy to translate it into words/numbers.
Use the letters to the right of those in your keyboard.

Ok, so we had to turn the paper upsidedown...
Thanks for help @Peke!

782 worked for me..

Thanks Edgar...sometimes I'm really too stupid...lol

@Mina
have you used pencil on red book?
Wufgr Ibw Diye Auz
look at your keybord and take the letters to the right:
W=E, u=i, f=g, g=h, r=t ====== Eight
and go on

Sorry for dobble posting = blogger problem

thanks everyone. Have a nice evening :)

finally out...thanks to everyone...

this game was crazy...lol good luck all

Please a WT? I have only a hangar and a phone and a COU paper...Thanks!

Xenon, please could you explain how you get water from the 2nd page. Is it pick one kanji that goes with other 4 kanji to make new words?

From a Japanese dictionary:

Right is wheel/vehicle. So water wheel?
Top is scent. Scent water? Japanese way of saying perfume maybe?
Bottom is unworldly.
Left is breeze/wind.

Thanks.

I keep reading hints and can't see HOW to get pencil...

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:02 AM

nokra, click around middle bottom of bed to zoom in. Click on cell phone, then click again on the dark bit to light it up. Then use the hook made from the coat hanger to grab the pencil. You make the hook with the pliers/pincers from the orange box.

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:04 AM

nokra, water goes on orange box(in picture scene on bottom shelf of white shelves.)

Ty @cricketer9999 ....i am getting there...had to take a little break!!!

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:12 AM

I can't get to a view on the desk to use the screwdriver.

@cricketer
Click on chair (goes to the left), click under desk (near floor), then click right side (where you can see the smal rest of the desk).

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:23 AM

Thanks stu.

Got it and out.:-)

@cricketer9999
It's a popular Kanji puzzle.
Put a Kanji in the center and make 4 words that have 2 Kanjis.
香□、風□、□車、□仙
香水=perfume,風水=something good and evil about house, 水車=water wheel, 水仙=the name of flower "Narcissus"

       Anonymous  6/24/10, 9:37 AM

Thanks Xenon. I appreciate your help.

I still need a WT...The safe clue is not making any sense to me...3942?

Finally...re reading clues... It spells the number!!!!!!!!!!! Geez...8146
I was in the "twilight Zone"!

Thanks @Xenon for "water", and thanks @Peke for "turn it upside down". I complicated it and turned the TV clue symbols 90 degrees and got 284, which didn't take me out lol.

could someone explain how you got 782?

Capricious Day - Walkthrough
══════════════════════════════════════════════
• From the desk, open the red book and find:
- The [●▲●x■▲] clue.
     香
- The 風 □ 車 puzzle (to be solved in English).
     仙
- The [NEXT →] clue.
- A paper with the “COU” clue on it.
• Turn left.
• Click on the pillow and on the sheet to get a black key.
• Zoom in the right side of the night table; zoom in again between the wall and the side of the nigh table (lower part) and get a cloth hanger; zoom out twice.
• Turn right.
• Use the key to open the top drawer in the desk and get the cell phone.
• Go two times to the right; zoom in the picture.
• Open the cell phone in About Item, click anywhere on it to open it and click on the screen to see the CLUE to be combined with the shapes in the first pages of the red book; get directions to click on the corners of the picture to take it off.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• Once the picture removed you can see a safe in the wall.
• Zoom in the orange tool box in the bottom shelf of the stand; solve the Japanese puzzle from the middle pages of the red book and enter the answer in English to open it and to get the pliers; zoom out.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• Turn right.
• Open the hanger in About Item and use the pliers on it to have a hook.
• Zoom under the bed, but it’s dark in there; select the cell phone in inventory and click under the bed to have some light and to see a pencil which you can’t take… unless you use the hook! Zoom out.
• Go right.
• Open the red book again and go to the [NEXT →] page; use the pencil on that page and see another clue: [WufgrIbwDiyeAuz].
• Go right.
• Well, since you’re already here, zoom in the gray box on the white stand and use the pliers to open it and to get the TV remote; zoom out.
• Zoom in the lower right side of the white stand and see an example of the use of the NEXT → clue and solve the [WufgrIbwDiyeAuz] in the same way to get a 4-digits code.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• Go right.
• Zoom in the safe on the wall, enter the code you’ve just got, click on the handle and get a screwdriver; zoom out.
• Move twice to the right.
• You might have noticed that the middle drawer can’t be opened… click on the chair to move it aside and zoom under the desk. Click on the right part of the desk to have a lateral view of the drawers. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws keeping the middle drawer stuck; zoom out twice.
• Now you can open that drawer to get a battery; zoom out.
• Move right.
• Open the remote in About Item and click on the bottom to turn it over, remove the batteries cover and put the battery in; close that view.
• Use the remote on the TV and see the “IUL” clue.
• Zoom out and go right twice.
• Combine both clues (the “COU” one from the paper and the “IUL” one from the TV) to get a 3-digits code.
 Solution at the end of the Walkthrough
• Zoom in the green box on the night table, enter the code and take a yellow key; zoom out.
• Go left.
• Use the key on the door lock, click on the handle to open the door and escape… CONGRATS!

SOLUTIONS
═════════════════════════════════════════════
Solution to the picture
The cell phone shows the place of the symbols in the picture corners:
 O Δ
 ⃞ X

The clue in the red book shows the sequence to press the corners:
 O Δ O X ⃞ Δ
Therefore the sequence to press the corners is>
 ↖ ↗ ↖ ↘ ↙ ↗
─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution to the word puzzle
As explained by Xenon, this puzzle is about a series of four Japanese words with one common character, standing as the answer of the puzzle.
 香
風 ⃞ 車
 仙
Replace the square with 水 (the answer) to spell:
香水 = perfume
風水 = something good and evil (bad?) in a house… Feng Shui (?)
水車 = water will… basically a mill based on water force.
水仙 = the name of the flower Narcissus, a.k.a. Daffodil.
The common element (水) means water; use it as the code.
──────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution to the NEXT → code
As seen in the side of the white bookstand (1→2; 9→0; V→B), you need to do a replacement of letters/characters with the ones in the right in your keyboard.
The clue [WufgrIbwDiyeAuz] becomes then [EightOnefourSix]
Enter 8146 as the code.
─────────────────────────────────────────────
Solution to the TV/paper clue
Turn around the paper code to see something like this>
┌┐┌┐─┐
││└┘─┘
Combine it with the clue on the TV:
 ││││
 │└┘└
You should “see” something like this:
 ┌┐┌┐─┐
 ││├┤┌┘
  │└┘└─
That’s where the 782 (Code) comes from.
─────────────────────────────────────────────

Oh my... that last solution looks awful :-(
Hope it's understandable... and maybe I can come out with something a bit clearer... an edited snapshot perhaps.
Hmmm, that would have to be later anyway.

Thanks Edgar

cannot understand what order to press on the picture?

@reddc, for the picture, press
 UL, UR, UL, DR, DL, UR
