this looks good

this looks real hard :(

That will be hard

So far a battery and... stuck :)

Got a battery

oh my , too many puzzles and codes

oh yeah - hard one!

where was the battery ?

So far, I only have a battery

battery is on box on table (windows view). for code, look at picture on wall.

This a tough one! Don't know what to do with the piano, color thing, or code hint under the color thing.

sorry have to go, good luck for all

thanks for that x

Got remote, need another battery

Where did you find the remote?

remote is in box under tv. Use color puzzle to open it (hint on paper below the color thing).

Hi all - trying to catch up

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 7:34 AM

just got back from the vet, joining now!

maybe piano is a hint for box under window but don't get it ..

Drisana - trying to calculate numbers by "moving" two colored rings to the right..etc.. am I on the right track?

i only get 10,6,7,4 from the colour code ?

I get 11 3 5 8 but can't be right

I got 7667 but that didn't work. Back to the drawing board

I thought piano code would be d u x q or r but that doesn't work either. Any idea about the lady bug?

miles yes :)
annaby, i think you forgot the cyan on the first row :)

for box on table, i think it represents the room where we are. White square is the carpet, brown square the table, little withe squre the box and white circle is behoind the box on table;
Tried to click where there are sofa tv etc but don't get it !
(don't know if you understand this ;))

Got it!

hey everybody! caught up and now stuck... let's see what we can find.

yes @Drisana - forgot to add the last move to the first column.

miles no you're not just follow the paper ;)

code is :

S8PO6I6LE7R

got 2nd battery from the box at the window. use piano to solve code.

need a new code for remote now... argh!

bug gives you code for remote

got it too :)
Miles you're on the right way about piano ;)

okay, got 2nd battery

OUT! who needs help? =)

And out !
What a nice game !!

I may be on the right way, but can't still can't get it! Frustrating!!!!

miles1, the numbers on the black keys stand for the letters that are between the ones on the white keys in the alphabet.

you said " d u x q or r "
2nd one is wrong

and out! whew - never thought I would get all those codes

Got it - once again, thanks drisana!

for the 2nd one: it has to be a letter being between V and Y as well as between W and Z... for the 4th one: it can't be q as it has to be a letter being between q and s which would make...? ;-)

DXXR

the way I figured it was that clues 2,3,2 on the keyboard all had one letter in common and that letter was used for the middle two on the box

For the remote, did you press 12589?

lol, my logic way have been completely wrong, but as long as it worked ...

well, my brain sure isn't working this morning.... maybe I need another cup of coffee. Thank you guys for all your help! Wish I could say I was out too!!!

miles1, your code is correct! you have to use it while in tv view, though. did you push enter?

@Miles - are you out yet or stuck?

Milena - THANK YOU!!!! That was it, I wasn't facing the tv. Phew - out, finally! Hopefully I'll be of more help next time. Thanks again!

Thanks all, I'm out with your comments, but can somebody please explain the colors combined with the paper to get the remote?
And why the third letter was an X for the box in the window?

small-tool. The code for the remote was from the lady bug. Milena and annaby explained the letters above. the black keys are the letters inbetween the whit ones. Y (x) w

@small-tool - you have to move the the discs on the first 4 columns according to the chart. It's very confusing. I found writing my column totals down after each move helped.

For color code, look the 4 first "rod" (piles ?)
use the paper on it --> pink on 2nd one goes on cyan on 4rth etc... Then look at the 5th "ro" and you have to count. red and cyan = 1 etc....
add numbers on each "rod" and you got 8667
(not very clear but ...) :)

miles1,
the code for the remote was easy and also the first, second and fourth letter of the box. But I can't see why the third one is an X.
And I don't see how you get the remote with those colors and the paper clue.

Small, on piano, "3" is between y and w OR between w and y. X is between w and y !

small-tool, for the colors and the paper code: the numbers on the paper show you in which sequence you have to move the coloured rings. so first, move the upper one from the 2nd stack to the 4th stack. then, the 2nd stack is, from top to bottom: yellow-red-blue-green, and the 4th one green-pink. then do 2nd and 3rd step, and then add up the numbers for each stack.

I still don't get it. Why should the 3 be between the W and Y. All the other letters go from left to right.

small, it doesn't matter whether from left to right or right to left - the only letter being between y and w (or w and y, whichever way you want) is X!

Milena, that's what I thought, but if you do that you get 10, 4, 6, 7 ?

Sorry, I got it.
The paper is confuzing. It looks like you have to take things from the bottom of the pile in step 2 and 3, but you always take the top ones.

small you columns start with a totals of 7,10,9,1. After the first move, the totals are 7,7,9,4. After the 2nd move, 7,7,6,7; after the 3rd move 8,6,6,7.

ok it looks like you moved 1 ring too much from the 2nd to the 1st stack?

Small tool : first row :
you have yellow orange blue. you add cyan from 2nd (you move the pink one before on the last one remember:))
so first row is : cyan + yellow + orange + blue = 1+3+2+2 = 8

small - yes, I tried to take from the bottom at first too.

there you go! glad we solved that problem for you :-)

Thanks all.
But didn't like this game that much, because of that confuzing paper (would be a better clue if you really had to take the bottom ones in step 2 and 3) and because of that W and Y thing.
There was no need at at all to make it like that. But anyway, thanks again for all your effort.

Oh, and of course; why not make the remote work if you have the code, why only in front of the tv, but that wasn't the main reason for my dislike.

I can't move color rings at all??

I'm totally stuck, I can't guess any of the code and I found nothing !!!

I finally opened the box under the TV and got the remote. Now, what about the other codes ? What about the box with white and grey squares on the table ???

pascale, you can only solve the box on the table after you've turned on the tv. do you have both batteries for the remote?

Thank you Milena. No, I have no battery at all, and no clue.

one is in the box on the table. the hint for the code on this box is in the picture next to the table. the other one is in the box under the tv, for which you need to solve the puzzle right of the box.

@Pascale, the first battery in in the box on the table. The symbols match up to the numbers on the picture on the wall. Hint - if they don't look like numbers, turn them upside down.

for the 2nd battery, you need to solve the piano puzzle

sorry Pascale, 2nd battery is not under tv, but in box at window. the hint for this code are on the piano. working on my first walkthrough ;-)

Thanks @Milena. I was just thinking I ought to start one, but I'll gladly leave that up to you :)

i never thought that this would be so hard... i hope it won't be a too bad =) almost done, at TV part already... oO

My first WALKTHROUGH ever – so don’t judge ;-)

- Turn left 2x and zoom in on picture and note hint for code.
- Zoom out again and in on box on table. Open it. Enter code.
- Hint: the letters on the wall-picture aren’t actually letters, but numbers. Some have to be turned around to make the number out of the letter.
- SP5O0I3L8E7R
- Note: when you hear it click, you have to close the box and open it again, then you can take the BATTERY that’s inside
- Zoom out from the table, turn right once and zoom in on piano
- Note the 2 hints: B is on the black key between A and C, and the black “x” key between O and S could be P, Q or R.
- With those hints, find out the correct letters for 1-4
- Hint: the letters 1-4 should be between the ones on the white keys next to them in the alphabet.
- SPdOxIxLrER
- Zoom out, turn left once, zoom in on box at window. Enter the code you just found out. Once again, when you hear the “click”, close the box and open it again, then take second BATTERY.
- Zoom out, turn right 2x and zoom in on right side under TV.
- Look at the note under the coloured stacks to help you solve the puzzle.
- Hint1: the numbers show you, in which sequence you have to move the coloured rings. (you can’t actually move them, so do it in your mind or use pen& paper =))
- Hint2: always move the upper ring!
- Hint3: once you’ve done all 3 moves, add up the according numbers for each stack to make a 4-digit code
- SP8O6IL6E3R
- Zoom out and in on the left side under the TV. Click on the greenish-grey square to give you 4 digits. Enter code from the color-riddle you just solved. Then, click on top of the box.
- Take out REMOTE, click on it to turn it, click again to open it, and insert 2 batteries. Close it and click on it to turn it over again and find out that you need another code.
- Zoom out and in on the box on the sofa. Open it, and click on the bug inside. The way it walks is the solution for the remote-code.
- Hint: each square in the box stands for a number
- SP1O2I5L8E9R
- Zoom out, and in on the TV. Open remote in big view by clicking on the magnifier. First, hit “Clear”, then enter code and hit “Enter”.
- Put the remote away and look on hint on TV. Note: this code is different each time!
- Zoom out and in on box on small table by the sofa. Open the box and put in the pattern you saw on TV.
- Hint: change the ones that are green on the TV to grey on the box.
- Again, close it and open it and – tadaaa – take out the KEY!
- Zoom out, go right once, use key on door and …
- CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ESCAPED!!!

@Milena - what a great WT!! Can't believe it's your first!

Although you asked not to judge, I still will;

Great Walkthrough.

Congrats on your first one.

awww thanks guys, i'm flushing :-[ just read yours small-tool, that's a great one too! i can learn from it for my 2nd one ;-)
ok now i'll rush in front of the TV, in 30 minutes we'll blow away Uruguay! :D

LOL - blushing, not flushing^^ saw it just when i hit post comment xD

Well keep on flushing and you Germans will flush Uruguay away.
Good luck tonight.

haha thanks! so much for our english professor always telling us we're near-native speakers ;-)

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 12:31 PM

LOL - flushing...sounds like we're getting back to POOP!!

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 12:33 PM

Kind of a different game. I enjoyed it.

@Milena - I agree you're first WT was very good - very clear! Thanks for going to the effort!

I stil don't understand how to open the box on the table. I don't see any hint for that on the picture !

@Pascale, the clue for the box on the table is what you see on the TV after entering the code in the remote (while looking at the TV)

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 1:39 PM

There are two tables with boxes on them - it's the bigger "dining room" table we're talking about here....

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 1:40 PM

then you can turn on the tv to see how to open the box on the smaller table...

You're right @Zoe, I might have misunderstood Pascale's question; if so...

@Pascale, in the picture on wall you should see the same shapes from the box under some "letters". Turn the letter into numbers by seeing them upside down. Enter the numbers then in the box.

FYI my code to retrieve the remote control was different. The last number was a bit higher.

@chickenrotini
The code in the WT is wrong indeed, so I guess you had the same one as everyone else did.

TWIMC, this is the way you should get that code:

• Each pole in the toy has some colored rings, and each color has a different value as seen on the ones in the right.
• Look at the paper under the toy and see you need to move 3 rings from one pole to another, that is:
 1) upper ring in second pole goes to the fourth one.
 2) upper ring in third pole goes to the fourth one, too.
 3) (now) upper ring in second pole goes to the first one.
So, what originally was…
   ③
   ① ③
 ③ ② ①
 ② ① ②
 ② ③ ③ ①
…becomes now:
 ①
 ③ ② ① ③
 ② ① ② ③
 ② ③ ③ ①
• Add up each column and get 8 6 6 7.
• Enter this code in the box in the left side (under TV) to get the REMOTE.

       Anonymous  7/10/10, 10:47 PM

Thanks Milena, although the color code on the one I played was different, I still think I would of been stuck without your great WT! Thanks again.

Thank you, Zoe, I was speaking about the box on the small table, in the living room !
I'm trying to understand why the value of 1, 2, 3 and 4 keys on the piano : I saw the answer, but that doesn't make much sense.

I'm out and thank everybody for the help.
I think that this was not a great game especially compared to the usual "Mild" games.

I know I'm uber late, but I thought I'd give a Hint Guide here:

Puzzle under TV:
Hint implies that you move the top-most disc to the next column shown. There is a color-code next to the columns to give you the value of all the disc colors. Add up the discs after the moves. The new numbers are used to open the box on the left compartment.

Box on Dining table:
The hint is found on the picture on the wall. Only pay attention to the numbers with the shapes under them and input them as shown in the code box.

Box on window sill:
The hint for this is the toy piano on the floor. There are two hints being given here. One shows an example of B (black key) as the letter between A and C. The other hint is located towards the top and it tells you that the symbol (or number) on the black key represents all letters in between the two white keys. **Second letter comes from finding the common letter in both instances.

Remote Control:
The hint is found on the box on the couch. The ladybug is in a box with 9 spaces (representing the keys on the remote). Note all positions the ladybug moves from start to finish in order to gain the code to turn on TV.

Box on coffee table:
Hint for this are the Green squares on the TV once you turn it on.

And there you go. I hope those hints make sense to you now. :)

wow! When I first started the game, I didn't think I would get any of the puzzles by myself.

But when I looked more closely, I realized the hints were all well placed in the game, and I got them all on my own! YAY!!!!

The only trouble I had was not facing the TV with the remote. When the first code I tried didn't work, I thought maybe I had to do math since the shapes in the box looked a bit like + signs. I couldn't get the answer, so I came to the comments just to learn my first code had been right! I just wasn't facing the TV.

It would have been nice for the remote to make a sound to tell us we had the code correct. Especially since I wasn't sure that thing was a remote.

This latest version of SmadAV is released in 2021. Smadav 2021 will come with the latest features as well
