A white marble, why couldn't I just tip the vase over though instead of having to break it? It's done now anyway, out we go and back downstairs to try out this black key.
Another coincidence that the black key opens the black keyhole!!?? I think not! Yet another bedroom, pretty empty really apart from that TV remote on the side. If I take that I could pop the back off and use that battery in my mouse!! Now thats handy!! Shame the remote wont work now though.

Lets take that panel of the right hand side of it with that Emerald...I mean screwdiver I found earlier. Looks like it needs a fuse. I wonder if this one will fit? Bingo, press the red button and away we go! Jump in the water and I've found an old penny! Let's take a look it may be an antique. Hmmm can't quite make out the date, maybe some lemon juice might clean it? Now i can read the date. Thats handy as i needed a 4 digit code earlier. One last look around out here, just move those stones on the floor and... a black marble! If I could just get that orange one from the kitchen I could fill all those holes in the safe. Lets
go and have a look.
It's still too high for me to reach, maybe if I try my wrench on that switch on the wall?? Cool, the lights fall down!! Not very safe but at least I get my orange marble now!! Lets go and see if my code works on the TV unit now.

through door.
Take lighter on left. Go right. Take MP3 player from table. Move left cushion and take bulb. Go back – locked door (gold keyhole). Go right. Note laptop. Take headphones from sofa bed, connect to MP3 player. Examine MP3 player and note clue.
Click bed knob closest to wall, take purple marble. Go straight on to balcony. Take hammer from table. Take pink marble, bottom left.
Go back, left twice and straight on. Note rip on back left of couch.
Go left (kitchen). Orange marble too high up on light. Stuck switch. Take lemon from table. Take knife next to sink. Use knife on lemon.
Go left. Take fuse under breakfast stool. Go left. Locked door (silver keyhole).
Go right three times and straight on (locked door, black keyhole). Take screwdriver from under TV. Take lighter fluid from shelf above fireplace and fill lighter. Use lighter on logs and take green marble. Move right hand cushion and take mirror. Zoe, it's not a competition. It's easier to go directly to the missed steps in walkthrough 2.
You're right Dee, it's not a competition. Nevertheless, inmho, your walkthrough helps people more. People here (on EG24) are trying to be funny, and they are, but sometimes they seem to forget that the main thing (again imho) should be helping people having a hard time to escape.
And although the funny walkthroughs help as well, still they can be hard to understand for people not using English as there first language.
I like the rule the more walkthroughs the better. That way, people can choose what they use (and sometimes, I have to use both if the descriptions in one confuse me) :P
That said, I am not picky about which type I get when I need help. People write them voluntarily, and they should write in the style they want to.
I agree with kitkatfox, the more walkthroughs the better. Some funny, others straight to the point. Who cares, it's always nice to read them and to know there are people who take the time to write them and helping out other players. It sure has helped me through a lot of games.
I only expressed that I like the funny ones. That's my opinion. Just an opinion, that's all.
