Hi @Rambler! I'm in, but my game is very empty. I only have a nonfunctional "frame".

Only found a machine with solar panels (being charged atm, some scissors (used) and a brown object that may or may not be a stool lol

Hi Ellie : )

I too placed the machine in the window, but I can't find scissors and the brown object lol.

Scissors are behind the drawers in the big cupboard, use them on the tied drawer.

Hi @Ellie and @Rambler. I'll be relying on you since there's a language barrier.

Hi, I start play now.

lol @annaby! Don't rely on me, i didn't have any coffee today :)
And I still can't find things!!

POP, got scissors to the right of the drawers in the closet.

Hi Ellie and Rambler

where are the scissors?

Oh, thanks @Rambler... you already told! See... not awake, no coffee here.

Ah, brown object is used as a stool in front of the big cupboard to get the blue code box. Brute force required maybe...

Hi @SwissMiss and @lisa! Let's escape now :)

got them

what is that brown item??

Yep, brute forced, I think it was 41 or 42 : )

I put the white-blue fram on window and it disappear.

I got pink key from the box

Hm... I don't like bruteforcing, but well... I'll figure out the clue for it later on. Thanks @Rambler!

take the charged panel back from the window

Oh no, maths is required :(

My panel disappeared when I took it back, grrrrr

The brown item is a stool. you can use it to get the box

my panel is gone too

where is Edgar - I dont want to think!

i'm joining - i'll try to catch up

I solved the drawer.
Dog-2=racoon
racoon-2=monkey
Some trial and error: 846

And that gave me... nothing? I got a handle for an empty drawer.

Re-started and the panel disappeared AGAIN!!!!!

I hope we don't need that solar panel!

empty drawer will come out onto floor, then look in empty space

@Ellie - pretty good for no coffee!

my bluebox and the panel has disappeard
buggy??

@Ellie, well done. But what's with the empty drawer?
Maybe the games not been tested properly.

Thanks @annaby, and @mayberry! I just got that box on the floor too :)

The drawer is empty but click iit again so it falls out

Oooh, thanks mayberry. Got some numbers under the flower pics now.

but what to do with numbers??

I got the numbers on the wall too, and I can turn the frame around (from the drawer next to the empty drawer). Clicking the corners, but don't have solution yet.

You can turn the pic around, but I can't seem to do anything there...

at same place - clicking front or back of pic corners doesnt seem to do it

A (very simple) picross on the solar machine !
With a couple of simple equations :
dog = 8
monkey = 4
racoon = 6

Now I can open the drawer with the star handle, but it is empty !

The corners should be B,Pi,R,Pi,G,R I think, but how does the frame turn lol?

what solar machine? mine is gone now

thanks ellie - you did it - flip it on bottom middle

Annnd out, thanks Ellie : )

Yes! It's only turned so the new colors are
R, B
G, Pi

Click in the order of the numbers behind the pics... B,Pi,R,Pi,G,R

Got key!

       Anonymous  8/8/10, 7:22 AM

The picture is turned around so click:

top right
bottom right
top left
bottom right
bottom left
top left

to get key

I missed your message about the empty drawer, Full.
Now, I have a frame.

But what about the solar panel? Would it give us the number 42?? Going in again!

And thanks to Shuchun for posting : )

and out

I got a key from the frame.

How did you work out the colour order Ellie?

Yes, thanks @Shuchun! And thanks @Rambler for the scissors, and @mayberry for the drawer!

Ellie, yes, the solar machine is a very simple picross that gives you 42 as a code for the box.

out - thanks all! The solar panel remains a mystery?

@Rambler, look at the numbers behind the pics on the wall. The pink flower has 2 and 4, the blue has 1, the green 5 and the red has 3 and 6.
Click them in the order of 123456...

ah - thanks Pascale!

Have you noticed that recently whenever there is a new game posted someone rates it with 1star whatever the game
there must be someone hating EG24!!!!

@Pascale, I went in again and had that solar panel! It's fun! We can only get it if we don't open the blue box by bruteforce first.

Ahh, I was taking the first and last ones as decimals lol.

ellie
does it give you the clue for the blue box?

out as well

lol @Rambler! I started to multiply them, but when I got 8,1,5,12 it didn't make any sense (even if i started clicking those amount of times in the corners before i realised my mistake).

@SwissMiss, yes it does! You should go in again and try it! Take it back from the window after gettig the blue box, but before bruteforcing it.

OK I shall try again

And thanks again Ellie, just replayed again and did the picross thingy on the solar panel before opening the blue box : )

you call this fun Ellie
how on earth do you get to 42

ah I get it - so many black spaces as given in both directions - ok I shall experiment

I don't understand either. Can anyone explain?

lol @SwissMiss! The numbers tell you how many black squares in each row and column. For example the column with 5 should have all black, and the one with 0 should have none. If there is 1,3 you need to have at least one white square between them. For a column that would be: BWBBB (black and white).
I'll post a screenshot.

I got it in the meantime - it really was fun -
just didn't realize at the beginning that the white squares could be turned

Thanks Ellie!

Great @SwissMiss!!

Here are some more of those...http://www.escapegames24.com/2007/01/picture-logic.html

Yw @annaby!

lol Ellie
when I have cracked all the doors on doorcracker, caught up with all the EG24 games and am really really bored - I shall tackle those

lol @SwissMiss!

WALKTHROUGH
In the first view a code and a key are needed for drawers.
You can play with the curtain and lamp and find a few hotspots to zoom, but move right instead.
Lift the pillow to get a solar panel game.
Go left.
Open the curtains and zoom in the window.
Place the solar panel game there.
Zoom out and turn left.
Open the big closet.
Zoom on the lower right side of it (thanks @Rambler!).
Get scissors.
Turn left.
Zoom on the lower right lockers and use scissors to open.
Get a stool.
Turn right.
Place the stool in front of the red bag in the closet.
Take the blue box from top shelf.
It needs a code.

Go to the window and take back your solar panel game.
Look at it with “about item”.
Click on the red button to see numbers and squares.
Solve it to get the code for the blue box.
(Click on some of the white squares to make them black).
Solution below.
Open the blue box to get a pink key.
Turn right and use the pink key in the top drawer of the desk.
Get a book.
View it with “about item” to get all the clues you need for the bottom drawer.
Open the bottom drawer to get a star handle.
Solution below.

Zoom out and turn right twice.
Use the star handle in the top right drawer.
Open it to see it’s empty.
Click on the open drawer (below the star) to pull it out (thanks @mayberrygunslingers!).
Zoom inside where the drawer was (lower left corner).
Pull the plug out and zoom out.
Open the top left drawer to get a picture.
Turn left.
Click on the flowers on the walls.
Note their colors and the numbers behind them.
View the picture with “about item”.
Click on the lower side of it to turn it around.
Click on the four corners in the correct order to get a blue key.
Solution below.
Turn right twice.
Use the blue key on the exit door, and you are out!
Congratulations!

SOLUTIONS
Solar Panel Game
The numbers tell you how many black squares in each row and column.
For example the column with 5 should have all black, and the one with 0 should have none.
If there are two or more numbers, like 1,3 you need to have at least one white square between them. The first number (the left in rows, and top in columns) should also be used first on the squares.
For a column 1,3 would be: BWBBB (black and white).
Code:42
Click here for a screenshot of the solution.

Bottom drawer in desk
Use the book from the top drawer.
Rabbit=2
From the middle scale you get:
dog = raccoon + 2 (which means the dog weighs 2 kilograms more than the raccoon).
From the lowest scale you get that:
raccoon = 2 + monkey (which means the raccoon weighs 2 kilograms more than the monkey).
So,
monkey is lightest
raccoon is 2 more
dog is 2 more than raccoon.
That could be: 1,3,5 or 2,4,6 or 3,5,7 or 4,6,8 or 5,7,9.
From top scale you see that dog+2 is the same as raccoon+monkey.
Lets try this with 1,3,5:
1+3 isn’t = 5+2
and so on…
The only numbers that work are: 4,6,8.
The order in the drawer is dog, monkey, raccoon.
Code: 846
Click on the handle to open.

Flowers and picture
The numbers behind the pictures on the wall tell you the order to click on the corners in the back of the frame.
The pink flower has: 2 and 4
Blue: 1
Green: 5
Red: 3 and 6.
Click on the back of the frame in this order of 123456:
Blue, pink, red, pink, green, red.
The colors of the corners in the picture:
Blue, Red
Pink, Green
BUT when you turn it around the order of the corners is:
Red, Blue
Green, Pink
So, click: upper right, lower right, upper left, lower right, lower left, upper left.

Great WT Ellie

Nice little game... I liked it a lot!! :D
I only spent a bit long while solving the weights chart, but glad to say I could solve it on my own as well... maybe not something hard to achieve, but try it after a not so good night sleep! aha, see?

@SwissMiss,
thanks for adding me on FB. We're pals now! :)

       Anonymous  8/8/10, 11:19 AM

I got out at 8/8/10 16:19 thanks to all your hints! Thanks everyone! Such SMART people on this site!!!

       Anonymous  8/8/10, 3:56 PM

I don't know if anyone's interested, this is how I solved the weights.

b = bunny
r = raccoon
m = monkey
d = dog

b = 2

d + 2 = r + m (1)
d = r + 2         (2)
r = 2 + m        (3)

From equation (2) d - r = 2         (4)
From equation (1) d - r + 2 = m (5)
Substitute (4) in (5)

2 + 2 = m

m = 4
r = 6
d = 8

out with the hint from Ellie that I was being very dense with the flowers. I thought the dots were math symbols. I was multiplying numbers. Duh!
