Stu, I do. I see the grey bar so I think that I have to turn the pattern upside down, but d'oh, I can't get it.

@fred: You don't have to turn the pattern upside down. Just put the notes together and make the pattern you see.

oh no i am running in circles, can't find the green gem and i don't understand the hint of the yellow note and......i am alone here, all are gone :(((
I'm here, but don't remember where the green gem was. It might have been in the box where you have to put two notes together for a pattern...
Green gem you get in bedroom with grey box where you make the shape on the yellow note. (left from chessboard room. Make the box look like the note (ignore the lines of the box itself - just make the movable lines look like the note.)
I think we've been abandoned, gabi. I'm not finished the game either. I don't have the hammer, black key, grey key....feel silly. Everyone's out and I'm still blundering around.

I never found a second half of the note, I just guessed from the left half that I found on the bathroom counter.

Yess..I got the 7738 and I know it goes to the gym, but I don't know where to put that code...
Yeah - clue on the matches is a number - not a word.
Gym is next to where the funny piece of wood in the floor is (use hammer on it after you get it in the gym.)
I must be missing some very obvious place, but still no second yellow note!?

Yay...I finally figured out what I was doing! Forgot about the mirror. I thought that was a white gem in my inventory, so never clicked on it..doh...now I'm out!

In the bathroom with the jacuzzi where the red "x" is (where you put the mirror) on the counter is where the other note half is!
You shine the mirror to get the "silver" key that opens up the door that needs a "gray" key.

I went back in and found the other half in the bathroom where you also use the mirror. It's on the right side

SSSG - Mansion Escape Walkthrough
As with most of Self Defiant’s escape games, there’s no particular order to the way you do things, however, some keys and codes must be found to progress further:
• From the first scene go left and note that there is a panel screwed shut
• Then down and collect chopsticks from the table
• Go up, right then up
• Note the electric panel under the blue painting, it’s screwed shut
• Go left and click on the left hand curtain, get the wrench
• Look up at the ceiling and see a SSSG coin, collect it
• Go right and right again, there’s a door that needs a white key
• Close the scene and then go up to the chess room and see some black things on the ceiling, click on each of them for the gems colour code (there are 5, remember the order)
• Note that there is a chess piece missing from the chess board
• Go left and see a door that needs a gold key, close the scene and click up
• Get the chess piece from the lower shelf in the middle of the screen
• Open the middle drawer on the right to get a screwdriver
• Click left and see a door that needs a grey key
• Close scene and click down
• Put the chess piece onto the board and get a white key
• Click down and right and use the key
• Collect the small mirror from the dresser
• Click right then click on the top black box beside the basin, click it again to see a small grey spot in the middle, insert the chopsticks and collect the gold key
• Close the scene then go left twice
• Use the screwdriver on the electric box and see that something’s missing
• Close the scene and move down and left to the pool scene
• Use the screwdriver on the panel to get the RED GEM
• Go right, up, up then left and use gold key on door
• Note that there’s a tear in the bed and a box in the dresser that you can change shapes
• Close the box scene and go left into the bathroom
• Get the yellow half note from the counter and see that there’s a red X on the bath tub, place the mirror on the red X
• Collect the silver key from the reflected light spot on the ceiling
• Go right, right, up and right. Look at the photo on the bed and relate the shapes to the letters
• Close it and open the top drawer of the dresser for the shapes box, use the photo clue to open the box – pentagon, hexagon, octagon, triangle, octagon – click on the yellow button and collect the YELLOW GEM
• Close the scene and collect the battery (fuse) under the dresser
• Go left, down and down again and place the battery (fuse) in the electric panel
• Go up and right, move the second cushion from the left to get some matches
• Examine the matches and see the word BELL
• Go left, up, right then right. Drag the middle picture away and use the wrench for the BLUE GEM
• Go left, left and left, use the silver key on the (grey) door, collect the knife from the cabinet (left of DV player)
• Drag away the picture to see where the gems go
• Go right, down and left. Use the knife on the tear on the bed to get the black key
• Go right up and right, use black key on door to get onto the patio
• Click on the statue and collect the 2nd half of the yellow note
• Put the two notes together to see a clue
• Click left and get a code box with 4 numbers required, use the matchbox clue upside down – 7738
• Collect the hammer from the right then go right again
• Use the hammer on the discoloured board and collect the PINK GEM
• Go down, left, down and left again, click on the shapes box under the TV and form the same shape as the yellow clue
• Click on the yellow button and collect the GREEN GEM
• Close the scene then go right, up and left. Drag the picture from above the TV and enter gems in the order from the ceiling (P, G, Y, B, R)
• Click on handle and collect Jet Ski key
• Close scene then go right, down, down, down, left then down
• Use key on Jet Ski and off you go :o)

Where do you find the second note?
Whoever designs these puzzles should be consistant and either provide a map with each game or not provide a map with any game YOU SHOULD ALWAYS START AS YOU MEAN TO GO ON
