@Jo-Ann The first time, I tried giving her the candy and took too long backing out. An eye flew at the screen in a mild jump scare
I keep going back in and it says continue, then no matter what I do, the game just stops. I end up with the newgrounds loading screen and a start button with all my inventory items

mine just ended too.. tried to give jane the candy!

Walkthrough
Get screwdriver from right of the bus stop
Go left
Note Jane’s car and the light in the hotel window
Get the wrapper from the street
Click girl at the end of the street
She knows Jane
Give her the wrapper and she’ll give you a piece of candy
Go back
Go inside the hotel
Talk to the manager, who tells you the place is closed
Give him the candy to sweet talk him
Look right and get the hint paper from the bench/stove thing
Go left (upstairs)
Enter the bathroom at the end of the hall
Look right -- get the quarter from the sink
Use the screwdriver to open the locked stall
Use the quarter on the living boxing machine
Click the lights in the order of the note “to show”

Back up and go into the right hall
Enter the code from the machine then hit the * as enter

See mutant Jane
Grab car keys and back out quickly
Use the keys on the car to escape
Note: one time I played, Jane seems to have caught me. I took too long searching for what to do next after getting the keys. I even tried giving Jane the candy. An eye flew at the screen, and the game ended

Jo-Ann.. I need to do the same. Got a 12 foot tree up in the entryway, but I have people here fixing leaking plumbing and can't do anything but stand around.
That 12 foot tree is going to have to wait anyway, can't figure out how to extend the ladder all the way up!
@EnJoy at least you don't have to worry about watering the tree with the leak
Okay, okay. Not really a good silver lining to that cloud. I hope they get it fixed soon.

KKF.. you help me escape all of these games.. wish you could come over and extend my stupid ladder!
@Enjoy we got a 12 foot tree one year, I stood on the top of our ladder and used the BBQ tongs to put the lights at the top... must have been a sight to see! lol
Tree is up, just adding the last few things around the house, then I have to pack the boxes away for a few weeks.
wierd,the eye caught me but when i restarted i used the keyw and ..to be continued... Thats all?

Ok...that was just lame.
Two endings I found:
1. you drive away in Jane's car.
2. Jane eats you. (you get this if you wait a bit in Jane's room)
Game wasn't bad - but whoever did the voices was GOOD. Very creepy.
