See you @Ruff, and thanks for the help!

kim: example: 2862 - RTP Payload Format for Real-Time Pointers

so 1st letter is R.

Lvl 12: Hint on source: Knock please.

What's that supposed to mean along with the elements and jail!?!

This comment has been removed by the author.

thank you nini :) :)

Te = 52
Na = 11
Ru = 44
Al = 13
V = 23

Dunno if that'll help.

At least I got to read a little about the bug Cercopis vulnerata but it didn't take me out of jail.

lol Ellie how'd u get to that? :P

@Nini, an anagram of te na ru al v gave me vulnerata...
Have to leave again :( See you!

Ow! See u Ellie! Guess I'll w8 for the answer again lol!
Hate thinking alone! xD

nini did you get 12?

google hates me

not yet kim.

Any ideas for 12?

all i figured out is that all that elements have a silver metal appereance...other than that im completely lost...

Hi everyone! Any news for 12?

No Ruff.. .

im about to give up this game shouldnt be so unsolvable lol

It's difficult.

Well.. right now I'm just waiting for someone to come up with the answer.. cuz my brain's already fried! Lol.

tried a lot

Like this for example:
52 11 44 13 23 -/- K19 N7 O8 C6 k19

=33 4 36 7 4
As be Kr n be

Anagram= banks beer

Lol didn't work

It's 2 o'clock in the morning already, think I'm going for a sleep first ;)

11 pm here.. and think seriously about going to sleep..
if only the creator will show up and give us a light.

anti-knock agents? idk anything about any of this

For level 12, I think I know what "knock please" means. I have converted the elements into numbers and even some codes. But don't know what to do next.

I've done that too Ruff
Te = 52
Na = 11
Ru = 44
Al = 13
V = 23
And what do u think knock please means?

@nini, my numbers are different. Te=(4,4)(1,5)

:O how come?!

Ruff... are u taking the atomic numbers?
If so Te=52!

@nini, if you are in jail, how do you communicate with other prisoners: "knock please". There is a special cipher called "t** c***".

tap code? lol

Yes, that's what I'm thinking.

so ur numbers were coordinates. :P

But what to do with them?!!

That's where I'm stuck. I tried picking letters from source but no good.

I'll try some decimal > alphabet decodification.

finnaly!!! tnx Ruff and Nini...convert atomic numbers to letters! =)

ebaaddacbc? lol

Why didn't I think of that? Thanks @spela.

Tellurium = 52 -> 5th row, 2nd collumn

np=) together we can do it=)

OMG thx Spela!

Source= check it.
Title= choice...

Colors??

Black = G
Yellow = L
Blue = P
Red = B

With orange doesn't work.

Orange maybe a S

OK.. forget what I said.. . It doesn't work!

And all of a sudden I find myself alone! :(

Well.. for my new imaginary friends:
Black - 9 lines
Orange - 4
Blue - 8
Green - 4
Red - 8
Yellow - 2

*hoping that it'll lead me into something*

if you write the colors reb, blue and black it says things like sure, good, etc... but not for yellow, orange and green

Got 13. Onto 14 now.

@nini, Gimp check colour channels.

Hm.. I know that Choice is game from one of the episodes of the anime Reborn. lol

And there's a song called Choice of Colors by The Impressions, from 1969.

Ruff.. what? xD

For level 13. Open picture with Gimp, convert it to RBG mode. Check each colour channel and you will see a hidden word (it's the name of a colour).

I don't have Gimp on my PC.

@nini, you need gimp of photoshop for this kind of image manipulation.

I don't have any. Will try to find a online editor.

Let me know if you can't install Gimp. I'll try to send it to you.

No luck. Will have to download.. omg..

Downloading...

Installed!

Now how to convert the pic?

Open the picture with Gimp. Click Image - Mode - RGB

I don't know whether the channel window is already opened so you might as well do this to make sure. Click Windows - Dockable Dialogs - Channels

Now all became black.

Finnally lvl 14! Thx Ruff!

This comment has been removed by the author.

@nini, how are you doing with your Gimp.
I'm on level 15 now.

lvl 15!

So guy on pic is Ernest Hemingway.

2nd guy now.

3rd now.

Stuck on 4th.

Stuck on blue bird too!

the guy is Maurice Maeterlinck and if you put the mouse on the picture it says -1907...
other than that im lost

But Maurice Maeterlinck wrote blue bird on 1908.

I have a -1920 instead.

U guys are 1 ahead of me!

I'm in the one of the guy reading

nini just put the title from page source in google and wiew the wikipedia link..

ok its past 4 o'clock here and i have my head full of everything...so going to sleep...
good night and good luck=)

@nini and spela, I'm stuck with Maurice Maeterlinck forever! Need to take a break now. I'll try to solve it later; otherwise, I'll have to do it tomorrow night. I'm going skiing tomorrow.

@spela, good night!

cant get past 14 am i stupid or is it glichy??

@kim, take the first letter of each and you will get a word.

Hint: In England this word is used to describe small cakes with icing on them.

I'm back to this game, got level 12 (thanks @Ruff for the knock cipher) but I can't do lvl 13. I remember I tried to download GIMP in another game, but it wouldn't work for me. I guess I have to quit. Good game as long as it lasted!

Wow! Tried again, and this time the download worked :) On lvl 14!

Hi! I'm back! And stuck on lvl 15. Got H*******y, C***s, H***e, but can't guess the 4th. Help?

Ellie hurry up and help me on 15!

@nini

4th is G******y

google source + year

but on the last of 15,

wathever I answer, I go back to the first,
there is a different here, they're not asking for the name but to answer the question...

Hi all, I'm stuck with all of you on the last 'great person'.

Carola.. still can't guess. What am I looking for in the source?

for the last I have :
C*******e, she died in 19*7 and wrote the poem,
one year later, M*********k made a film of it

OK got it!

@Nini, It's the title of the book in the source, it's in green...

But I get the same title everytime.

@Rambler, I know who it is, but we have to answer: "Give me the answer" and not "last name" this time.
But don't know what the question is LOL

@Nini, the f*****e s**a +year, it's marked green in the source and the year is before this

@Nini: Ga******hy ;)

Just made it to 15. Will take me a while there for sure.

@Carola, yeah, I know, I've been trying all sorts of stuff. I even tried the number 42 (from Hitchikers guide to the Galaxy)lol

Carola I've already passed that one. I'm one the crazy looking guy.

@Nini, that's the one we're stuck on :o(

:( .. .. 1907?

@Nini xD, that's the last one, where we have to give an answer?
That's where we are all stuck than :)

On the picture of the last of level15 is: M*****e M*********k, but he made a film a year later of the source year, in the source year, C*******e, wrote this poem (title of source)

found this:
http://www4.gent.be/gent/english/tourism/mvdhaegh.htm

Well, I'm stuck where you are.. on "give me the answer-pic". It seems you've been there for quite a while, so I have no big hopes solving it quickly.

Carola.. I can't see that name anywhere.
And tried lots of stuff too! Even 42! (lol Rambler)

Oh my Chrome is buggy. Now on IE.
Blue Bird?

I also tried: V******e, another work from him, made in the source year, because the fairy play (title of source) was a year later than source year

This comment has been removed by the author.

will remove previous post of me in a few minutes, because of the name in url ;)

Yeah Carola tried that too.

Need some coffie, be back soon ;)

I've just asked for help on Nordinho!

Time for lunch! Brb!

Maybe the answer is something related to all of the authors? They got the nobel prize, but it doesn't help me.

Hi all,
I'm stuck on level 13. I can't download GIMP on this pc (don't know why). Is there another way to find the answer?

s-t I'll help u w/ a almost-spioiler :

It's a fruit:

P***h

@s-t, I saved the pic to my desktop and if you look at it (don't launch it) you can just about make out the name of the colour, it's also a fruit....

Thanks, got it.
By the way the gimp download alomst crashed my pc!?

@s-t I dont thing there is any other way, but you might get it from the comment of Nini. It's a fruit and a color. Kind of pinkish.

Haha, you on Nord too Ellie :o)

Lol @Rambler... what to do when really stuck!?

I checked the pic properties, nothing there to help us...

Ahh, Tynka has just posted a clue on Nord...

Maybe.. the similarity is something to do w/ nature?

It's what I thought, that they should have something in common... I only see the nobel prize there. I'll look deeper into the sources.

Still stuck on level 14.
Can't find the browsers.
Don't know the second and the sixth and not sure about the others, for example; first Firefox or Mozilla Firefox, Google or Chrome, Explorer or Internet Explorer.

1st - Firefox
And don't count the word Google.

@s-t, one word for each and take the first letter.

Hint: F*****S

@small-tool, its firefox, chrome and internet explorer. I searched a lot for internet browser logos to find the last two. Finally found them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_browsers

OMG.. I can't belive some1 in Nord had the courage to post: lvl 15: Got it easy!

-_-...

*extremelly angry*

@Nini, can you enlighten us please...

Thanks all, got it now.

No Rambler. I didn't lol!

Hm.. all titles have "the".

Oh, You're referring to Hiya's post (number 66).

Yeahh.. :P

Got to pop out for a wee while, back soon.

Need to leave for a while too. Didn't find anything useful yet.

Righto, I'm back. But I see we're no further forward, even with the hint.

I notice that the years on the pics have a - (minus sign) in front of them, I took that number away from the year the author won the prize and added them them all together(72), but that didn't work either.

I'm on the same place as you all, but still a question about the first picture. The book was written in 1951 and published in 1952, so why is there 1931 on the picture?
For all the others it was the year the book was published wasn't it?

@s-t, I'm think the disparity between the years is the way forward, but I'm not 100% certain...

No.. the blue bird for example was written in 1908 but the date in the pic is 1907.

YES on lvl 16!!!!!

for LVL !%Look what they have in common, which year did they get that?
Than these years minus the years in the source for each person.

You have 5 numbers now, than change numbers to letters for a five-letter-word

YES on lvl 16!!!!!

for LVL 15Look what they have in common, which year did they get that?
Than these years minus the years in the source for each person.

You have 5 numbers now, than change numbers to letters for a five-letter-word

Thanks carola, onto 16. Phew!!!!

I got Tavna ot Savna... help?

for lvl 16,

found that it's a "p********n alphabet"
so first picture = A (alp)
and 2nd = B (bêt)

now what

@Nini, as carola say's it's a 5 letter word from the numbers. First one is W :o)

@nini, first letter = 1954 -/-1931= 23= w

Thanks Carola

@nini, search the 5 names in WIKI and look in the right colom when they got it, than minus the source year ;)

your welcome :)

Have to make dinner now, be back later

XXX

You already gave the answer Carola.
On 17 now.

Hi all :) I'm way behind. Was cruising right along until 8. I don't get what to do with the weird keyboard. Any help?
I saw a hint that said "see which letter is there instead" ???

lol...popped it

Finnaly thx Carola!

@s-t, thanks for 16, I was trying all sorts of stuff without actually entering the correct answer lol

'keyboard' becomes another word if you use the right letters.

16 plz?

lol 17!

stuck on 8-2 now. Doesn't quite work the same, obviously. What does it mean to "look at the image then at your keyboard"? What should I be seeing?

mkganda do the inverse process.

@S-T, lol, didn't try that, thanks :)

Any ideas for 17?

I crossed the corners and got S right in the middle.

Thanks Nini xD!

Lasagna is in oven, so have to wait until I can eat it ;)

So still around here for a couple of minutes :)

@mkganda, as Nini say's do the opposite of what you did on the first one. The answer 'begins at home' (wink)

All of the letters of the title are in the pic.

No idea at all, the missing letters are
J, K
N
P, Q, R
U, V, W
Z.
Don't know what to do with them?

I tried link all the title letters in that order. Got a wierd shape...

@Nini, lol tried the same ;) Can't make anything of that hahaha

17, I'm using GIMP in a bid to find something hidden.

But Rambler is hidden something not something hidden! lol

xDD

I haven't got GIMP, but in PAINT I can see three circles overlapping.

tried rot-cipher on missing letters jk pqr uvw z

but nothing,

maybe "hidden something" is key-word for other cipher

Hm.. I let some "pão-de queijos" ("cheesebreads") in the oven and they're almost done! Yammy! Can't think when I'm hungry lol!

also tried Vigenere Cipher on letters in order "odcnxbielsmthayfg" with key= hidden something,

but nothing

@Nini, I've got a spag bol on the go. Slurp :o)

@Nini xD, have a good dinner, mine is also almost ready. Bye

No I'm still here! And it's not dinner.. just a quick snack of the afternoon. :D

If you fill up the picture with a color you get 3 circles.

The letters in the upper circle are
dbnesi
Bottom left circle
lesta
Bottom right circle
ismth

They all share the s
top and left share e
top and right share i
bottom two circles share t

And now what?

Lol s-t i'ts not site or ties.

its all the letters in the circles, but you have to use as many times as they appear...example: t is in 2 circles

Nope Nini xD,
And with the bottom left circle letters you can make the word 'least' but that's not it too.
I think we need a better tool to see more, but I can't download GIMP.

Aha, thanks Spela :o)

Thanks Špela, but that's what I tried as well, but I don't get a word?

on lvl 18!

@s-t, you found the way forward, thanks...

for lvl 17 like s-t said about the three circles,

than take the letters of the three circles, ad them all and anagram, there you are:

D**************t

@s-t, a visit to grannma will reveal all :o)

Nvm. I only used the letters that are in at least two circles, but you have to use all of them.
18 now.

So, on 18 we have sets of numbers and we need notes.

can't make a sigle word! It's too long!

And the first letters of the title make MIDI, isn't that a kind of music file extension?

POp! 18!

Good spot s-t. Something to work on...

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface)

Haha Nini well done, I was just about to post that it is meant to be a long one...
