Got a knob thing from the locked locker after solving the sliding maze.
Yellow needle in the tiger doll.
Note with clue under a plate.
Iron stick on the lamp.
What it looks like a clock hand under a box (moved it aside)
Another metal stick in yellow drawers, hmm..
Moved the plant pot for a second clock hand.
Got a ladder now.
Combined both metal sticks to make a cross with them.
Yellow needle goes on the clock.
Used the ladder to get a red needle from the fan.
Both needles are the clock hands, and what i thought they were hands are on the clock to move the time.
The brass looking pointers go on the bottom of the clock and are used to move the needles. 40mins right and 85 mins left.

Progress here... there's a nut to the left of the locked drawer. Got a key from it.
And now a metal chest from using it.
Use the wrench (Thanks Rambler!) to open the drawer (l/h side) to get a green key. Open locked cabinet compartment to get a metal box, use the gear and the cross bar to open for the paper...to use on the lamp :)
Combined the knob on the chest.
Added the metal cross and got THE paper! lol!
There's the time alright now. :D
Set the time, get the key and out! ...deja vú?

jilly, zoom on the locked cabinet under the clock, and then click on the right side of it to solve the thing and to unlock it.
OK nice, good for you both. I think after solving that puzzle and finding the wrench (and the nut) escaping shouldn't be hard now.

How do you combine the two metal rods (positions 2&3 in inventory)?
And can't get metal knob to go on hole of stuck-drawer table after removing nut.

after removing nut from side of drawer it is open
But suddenly drawer isn't stuck.
Used key to get wooden box.
Knob won't combine with box -- is there an "about item" function that I', missing?

Puzzle - dont give up
I had problems with highlighting the box too - it worked after about 10 times
then you can insert big knob and use the cross

I thought I would try it in IE, but can't even get the game, just some "luminosity" site.
I tried more than 10 times, different positions.
Puzzle - do you highlight the box and then somehow drag it into the game - should stay highlighted then
Finally, it's loading
No problems to play in Internet Explorer.
And no problems combining things here.
About item is not drag, but double click and then drag the other item on it.
small-tool - the double click did not work for me (FF) I had great troubles getting any items from inventory into "about item" mode
IE's no good for me -- the picture's cut off so I can only turn right and if I go in close up, I can't back out!
(Back in ff) I highlight the upper right item (yellow blinking box), then drag the next one on top of it. When I let go, the second item slides back into it's box and is now highlighted.
puzzle - you really have to work hard to escape in the old year - lol -

Couldn't control the clock very well, but suddenly the blue key dropped out!

Glad to hear it worked.
Just played again and noticed the time you have to set on the clock is different every game.
As for IE, it may be that I didn't have the window opened enough. I've seen that for some games that are retro-fitted to be point-and-click even in FF.
I don't use it very often.
I liked the game except for the inventory problem.

If anyone comes back here, I can't get the red hand on the clock. I've got everything, time on paper, two arrows installed and yellow clock hand installed, but the red one just won't go. :s

If anyone is still here. I can set the clock for the time indicated by I don't see a key. Am I missing something???
@Evans - make sure your time isn't out by five minutes (or an hour like mine was! D'OH!). The key should automatically drop to the bottom of the clock when the right time is reached.
If anyone cares, I came back and played on another computer (Windows XP) and everything worked fine! My preferred computer for game playing is a Windows 7 tablet. I eventually got it to work (with difficulty) using the mouse button rather than the pen.
I got a different time to set (the first one was "5: 5", this time "6:30"). It's tricky setting the time because of the controls. (+ 40 minutes and -25 minutes). You could work it out mathematically, or just use trial and error.
how do you start the game. It saids to start the game, and it saids to click one of three buttons, it still wont start, it doesnt turn into a hand to be able to start.
@sherry, you need to press "play this game", then look for the three buttons shown in the "how to start the game link". They are the blue signs below the game text.

WALKTHROUGH
To start the game, click the “play this game”-link and look for three blue “buttons” with Japanese characters, below the game description. Click any of those.

You need to drag items into the game screen to use them.
Zoom on the cupboard below the clock.
In the top right drawer you see a red arrow, that hints you where to look:
Zoom to the right of the cupboard to see a maze puzzle.
Your task is to move the coin to the red spot on the right side. There are many ways of doing this, but for this WT I decided to “steal” the pictures from Edgar, telling one way. Thanks!
Solving the maze puzzle.
When the coin is on the red spot – zoom out and open the cupboard to find a JOINT.
Zoom on the green (gray?) drawers to the right.
Take a YELLOW NEEDLE from the forehead of the tiger.
Turn right.
Zoom on the floor to the right of the small cupboard below the lamp.
Get a WRENCH.
Zoom on the drawer of the same cupboard, and zoom to the left of it to see a bolt.
Use the wrench to twist it (drag it there).
Now, you can open the drawer to get a YELLOW KEY.
Zoom on the three cupboards to the right.
Open the right cupboard to get a LADDER.
Turn right.
Zoom on the plant to the left of the yellow drawers.
Click the plant pot to move it and get ODD POINTER STUFF #1.
Zoom on the 8 lower yellow drawers.
Get a METAL STICK from the right drawer, second from top.
Zoom on the upper yellow cupboards.
Use the yellow key to open the right of the four cupboards.
Get a METAL CHEST.
Turn right.
Zoom on the box in the left corner, by the door.
Click inside the box to move it and get ODD POINTER STUFF #2.
Zoom on the table and lift the plate with pears to get a NOTE from under it.
Double click the note to read it. It tells you “right arrow and a number” and “left arrow and a number”.
I’m not sure if this changes for the games... my numbers were: right 40 and left 85.
In the zoomed out view of the door, place the ladder on the floor below the ceiling fan.
Click the fan to zoom and get a RED NEEDLE from it.
Zoom on the lamp on the wall to get METAL STICK WITH ROUND HOLE.
Double click the metal stick with round hole to view it.
Drag the other metal stick to combine them.
Double click the metal chest.
Drag the joint to the upper part of it.
Use the combined needles on the joint.
Click it to turn it around.
The chest opens and you get a YELLOW PAPER.
Zoom on the lamp by the door again.
Place the yellow paper on the lamp to read a TIME – differs in every game.
Remember the time and turn right.
Zoom on the wall clock.
Place the red and yellow needles in the middle of the clock.
Place the two odd pointers on each side of the pendula.
Now, you need to make the clock show the time you had on your yellow paper.
Your white note tells how many minutes at a time the clock moves if you click the right or left odd pointers.
Since it differs for every game I can’t spoil it. You can figure it out mathematically, do it by trial and error... or maybe: try to set the time using only the right pointer. When you just passed the correct time, use the left pointer once. Go back to using the right pointer to just pass your time. Go on like this, using the left pointer only once in between and eventually you should get it right (not sure if it works in all games).
Get a BLUE KEY.
Use the blue key on the door and you’re out!

Pixel hunt locations (w/o puzzle hints):
1) Right of of wood cabinet with 2 drawers. Zoom into it first, then click right of it.
2) Left of wood cabinet with single drawer. Zoom into it, then click left of it.
3) Right of wood cabinet with single drawer. This time do not zoom into it, click bottom right of it.
4) Several items require you to click certain parts of them to move them. i.e. plant.
Note: Double-click inventory items to look at them, combine when zoomed.
This game is buggy.
