@Rachel and @Pascale - you have to twist the code of the tea a bit. I thought it wat 5061. Try that.

I hope you end the game, because my husband is beginning to be a bit grumpy. I have to cook now. Al the answers are in the comments. You're almost there. Succes!Bye!

Thanx @Henk!!

Thank you Henk and Rachel ! I think that I have all the tiles from the cupboards of "my" cabin (well, I hope so...). I missed the code on the tea box, I'm going to try it upside down, so, that must be 5061...

It works, but I'm still missing a tile (sigh).

And out! That last tile was the PITS! Thanx Henk for the hint!

The pits ?

how do I find the 4 digit code?

@geny, cut the box of tea with the razor. The code is upside down.

@Pascale, that's what I used :) There's a tile in that darn briefcase! The pits = terrible! ;)

@geny: which one? the letter one or the briefcase one?

Thank you Rachel, I knew what a pit was (generally speaking), but I didn't know what "the pits !" meant (-:
Desperatly searching the last tile...

@Pascale, you did find the ones in the Dining car? And the one behind the window blind?

where did you find the number 1905

brin3m,
In the second room (open it with the hairpin too) and there use the knife on top of the tea box.

@brin in the conductor's cabin, use your razor to cut the Earl Grey tea box.

Dang it! Working on a walkthrough, and the darn game freezes on me! now I can't get back in!

thank you! now on with the game!

Don't worry Rachel. I'm working on a walkthrough. But if you saved your walkthrough, please post it too. The more, the merrier.

I'll be here for a few more mins, if you need help. 10:26pm here.

can't get pot :(

brin3m,
Put all 9 tiles in the grid (in dining room behind the desk) and then make a picture of a train. After that you can open the cupboard door under it.

How many tiles have you got?

shoot thought i had all nine tiles have to go back and look for 1 more

got all the tiles and out thanks for all your help!

WALKTHROUGH part 2

FIRST ROOM (with pink round box).
- Zoom in on the hanging cupboards on the right and zoom in on the code panel of the middle door. Now remember the hints from the menu. Combine it; 27,45 is the hint for what letters to use. You beat me to it, Small tool! Was just going to type it out :) LOL!

Shoot; In the second room it was zoom in on the cupboard on the left.

Rachel, please do post it too.
Different players, different walkthroughs.
Don't throw all the hard work away.

       Anonymous  1/18/11, 5:10 PM

Is anybody still around? I am going nuts with this box code in the first room! GAH! lol

       Anonymous  1/18/11, 5:13 PM

I cant find the SD,pot and rag to wash that smudge off window. Help please

nvm, didnt know there was a WT Thanks small-tool, you are a life saver. without a WT I cant finish it

@small tool That was a great WT. I know I could not have finished it. Great job.

Warning!!! Spoiler!!!

small wind key behind clock
hat in the pink container
paper between the bed and the couch
knife on the flipped book
tile in the cabinet
tile in the big trunk box

So click on the purple hat you got, use a knife to rip open and find a key
use it on the little jewelry box
get the glasses

there are four golden keys on the bottom of the jewelry box.
Click on them in order according to the instruction written on the paper you found.
get the hairpin

use hairpin on the keyhole of the room to get outta there! lol

you're in the hall.
get 1 Tile behind the full drawn curtain

Get into the room nearest to the dining room by using the hairpin again
get the tile from the closet
use the knife on the earl grey box you see the number 1905
grab the match
There is a suitcase. The combo is what's written on the earl grey box except backwards.

go to the dining room
two tiles on guest table and one tile under the burner
there is a menu on one of the table, use the glasses to read them

it says 'Filet and Gulf Shrimp' with underline, along with the price 27.45 in the same color
match each numeral of the price on the title.
(hint: 2=I 7=N 4=E 5=T....shoot I wrote them all lol)

go back into the very first room where you started,
top right cabinet that has a combo on it,
open with the code you got from the fillet shrimp menu (I want shrimp T.T)

go to the second guest room, combine toy train with the winding key
put the toy train on the track

go to the diner's hall again
Put the tiles onto the sockets that are beside the bunsen burner
do the puzzles, get the pot of water
use the match on the burner and boil the pot
get out of the diner's room and come back the water should be ready)
grab the pot
go to the hall, there's the foggy window, use the pot
now go to the other end of the train
unscrew the cabinet there that has a pic and says 'bath'
match the knobs according to the picture on the unfogged window
and you get the steel knob thingy

use the knob on the door on the left of you

Now you are free. You don't have to listen to that forever repeating generic train music anymore (tho you have a choice of turning it off :P)

out with lots of help. That was a killer code.

Wonderful game! The music didn't even annoy me lol. And thanx for your walkthrough @small-tool!

Great game TomaTea ! The cabinet code was very clever! I tried all sorts of words and numbers translated into letters (from price, clocks, # code, combinations etc) before finally giving up and reading comments until I found your hint. Even then it took me a couple of minutes before I understood! Thanks for this challenging escape!

Loved the toy/model train, too...

I'd forgotten just how good this game was. Excellent.

good game. would have been 5 stars except for the poor clue for the 4 letter puzzle.
