Use hairdryer (with 2 batteries) on mirror for number order.
Second battery left of sofa and 4rth hint.

Very stuck. No idea what to with the order from the book or the picture, or the bell, or the cat paw.

I clicked the right white panel and i went back in.
so we have to place the tiles in the right order and probably the right button under them...someone speaks japanese?
The clue was correct, but you have to read it right. It all starts with shape first and then = number.
bell, cat paw, and cat picture go outside. Then you select a box. No clue on any of the orders, though!

You need the image of one cat, not the pictures of all the cats
well, no limited attempts. same happens on 1st attempt. maybe that's the end...

@Sabine, click to the end of the book in the safe, then click the white cat.
Now click the paw prints on the table top.
That should get you the cat and paw print pictures.

@Sabine sorry I went to play the new Flonga. If you are still stuck, Miller had the answer.
Outside the door, in the 3 small boxes near the top:
paw on top
cat in middle
bell on bottom
For the 6 larger white buttons: answer is right middle button
Then click the button to the right of the 6 white butotns.
There is a major language barrier to exiting the game if you can’t read Japanese
You are a detective and need to solve the case of the crooked kitty
Note the paw prints on the table
Click the bell under the table to take a picture of it
Go left
Get the picture of kitties -- one is your culprit!
Click under the bookcase for battery ½
Note the shape hint
Click the lampshade for another hint
Click left of the couch for the battery 2/2
Note another shape hint
Turn left
Get the battery-operated hairdryer
Click the top of the dark pink blanket for the last shape hint
Click the hairdryer in your inventory and then the green button on the right of the inventory
Use the batteries in the rectangle on the hairdryer’s handle (the batteries will disappear)
Go left
Use the hairdryer on the mirror for a clue
Go left
Enter the safe code
Click OK and click the book
Click next to go all the way to the end of the book
The white kitty has round paw prints like the table top. Click the image of the white cat
Now click the table top for a picture of the paw print
Go right
Click the door and then the words to go outside
Time to solve the mystery!

Safe code
The mirror says circle, 2 circles, triangle, square. We know that right side up triangle is 6,
square is 3, circle is 4, and circle circle is 6. However, the safe has the triangle upside down from the clue we found so the code is SPOILER4693SPOILER

No, can't do this one. My eyes are seriously burning from the Japanese! LOL! That and I think I just got kicked out because I opened a door. Apparently it was the wrong one! LOL!

This game should really be labelled up front as one with a language barrier. I *think* you're supposed to be solving the mystery of which cat left pawprints on the table, but without knowing Japanese, you can only present the theory of the "crime" in the correct order - or even know that it's what you're supposed to be doing when you leave the room - through sheer luck or an existing walkthrough.
