That pause is REALLY annoying!!! Every time I pick up my pen to work out a clue on paper it goes into pause mode- and I have a really short memory so it takes me ages to write G+B =33etc. SO frustrating.

Solution to puzzle 3 -

Start by making the ten in the middle row. Only 2 ways to do it - 5+5+0 or 7+3+0. I eventually got it by working out from there.
Use 307 and it gets you the 16 down the left column with 8-3-5.
Then switch 9 and 4 and suddenly you have all the rows but only one column.
Then switch the 2 numbers at the top right, and the 2 at the bottom right. Voila!

Complete solution reads:

Thanks to Dinakar for the chess puzzle; I never would have gotten that.

I left out a step; switch the 7 with 3, then 9 with 4.
