@Rachel, yes it is, but that is the order of the rooms, we started in the yellow room, then moved into the red. The others are yet to be opened...
Rachel, I see it for grey too, so I am sure it's not for ballons (they dont have grey) but it's a map of the rooms. We started in a yellow room and gone into a red room. So, behind the closed door of first room must be a blue room.
Ooooh - Gonna have to try that because mine keeps doing the same thing as Small Tool!

Candle on the colour map gives a compass. So that's how you know it's the rooms! :D

1 is top left corner and 8 is top left corner, 3 is top right corner etc. Click corners in the order 1234 etc.

@Rachel, look at the numbers as all single digits. Then see where they are (four corners) and click from 1-8 :o)
I mean that top left is 1 and 8, top right is 3 and 6 etc...

When the picture comes down, there is another puzzle. Start with putting 1 and 8 in the middle, after that it's easy.

nokra the numbers are the sequence how to click the corners. (1 = upper left, then 2= down left etc)
@nokra, each corner must be clicked on 2 separate occasions, according to the order...
So top left, botomm left, top right and so on..

S-T: nope, stuck there as well. Thought the + sign indicated the position of the firl, but no luck so far.

Hmm, even if I try to "activate" the balloons in the order given by the numbers: nada.
Rambler on that board, the colors for me are as I posted above, so with black bottom left!?

the thing is there are different solutions for the 8 digit puzzle. but the colors are the same for everyone.

@s-t, I'm painting everything in sight like a mad man, but got nothing yet :o(
s-t not yet and stuck in purple room, i need also a square shape.
Dammit, I gotta go out, be back in about 20 mins...
since you have to drag an item everytime (and I know how annoying that can be), I spoiler that the brush can be used in the grey room.
in the next game there will be the possibilty to just click an item in the inventory and use it without dragging.
And did we use the candle already ?

So no brush needed yet.
Then we have to find some codes I guess.
Is the very top balloon green?
The picture is a piece from banksy, trie his
year of birth, the year he painted that in essex, nothings so far...
Truus, just use the color 1 on the top balloon, then the color 2 on the balloon a bit lower etc. etc.
The top balloon is red (for me that was).
@Truus, @Zoe: Start with number one at the very top and work your way downwards
For the balloons : Look at the colour panel, note colours and numbers which belong together. Then enter the colours on balloons : 1= topmost ballon, 2= next balloon a bit below etc and 8 = the downmost balloon.

So, for me, the order was
1=red
2=yellow
3=black
4=green
5=white
6-blue
7-purple
8=cyan
in descending order, the top one was red, next one yellow, etc.
i got the KEY from Balloon Girl!!! Man, that had me stumped!!!
@Truus and Zoe make sure you follow the heights of the balloons, according to the numbers!

Does that help at all, Truus? I KNOW she was VERY frustrating that Balloon Girl!! Once you've got your colours, click on her to give you the key.
