And i have a gear from armchair.

found a note in the logs!

Hi Nokra!!! good to see you..!!!

got a gear from the throne...

Aaand...hello Zazie!!

Zazie, where is the hint for wheel riddle?

Cut blue flag for key.

On the table legs where ship is alkmar.

Hi purdey!! you can use gear after you take the ring...

@swiss..try 436

First key is used at the end left of door (after putting cog etc)

out. manages to guess the shape colour code b4 getting the brush so saved myself a little bit of time :)

I have to go now, i wish you all a great day !

Hi Alkmar and ty - but why 436?

@swiss..and pull lever

@ swiss,..at my flag the first number was: 1V than 111 and than V1 ( 4 3 6 )

and out - that was easier then normal apart from my confusion with the numbers -lol-
and got the color order now from flag on wall

TY, zazie...see ya later
the cog won't go anywhere, the keyhole won't either...have 2 keys...don't work anywhere...lol...help...

See you @ zazie!! thanks again :))

@nokra..did you take the nail from that mummiething? you have to open it first

436 is the order of the numbers on the flag swissmiss, the shapes order is what you should on painted with the brush :)

@swiss, funny, I took colororder from the brush/painting. And the numberorder from flag...

POP...finally got ironmaiden open...

Lol @Dog..you were faster ;-)

@nokra, use 1 key to open the spike coffin thing and collect nail

@alkmar, yes stange i was, thats not normal at all! :) lol

And out. :)

@purdey, dont blush..we all need help ;-) Did you take the nail from the mummie thing? with that nail.you can take the iron ring from the handcuff

Congrats @Nokra!!

nm pop

TY dog and alkmar...had tried the key many times...a little "buggy" some things have to click several times to work...thanks for all the help, everyone!

got it, tnx , out....

'puter is so slow this morning... finally out (it took forever to click on nail in spikey coffin) After getting ring from shakle I could finally put cog and keyhole on the wall... I like these games (just wish there wasn't so much lag) can't even refresh very well but I'm sure my hints wouldn't help much - we already have great minds here!!!

Great Purdey!!! congrats ;-)

what to do with feather?

Jennifer,
Put the feather on the ship, there's a feather shaped slot on it.

In and out!!!!! Rather easy one....

came back and finished the game.
Thanks for the hugs @Alkmar, dikke knuffel terug.
Hope to see you soon again :)

WALK INTO
No, not a walkthrough - just read on...

Click Start when the game's loaded because, although you know you are over-tired, you like these games, and just one more won't hurt.
Scroll over stuff because these guys have given us a changing cursor; so sweet of them =)
That usually means it'll be necessary to interact with these objects later.
First screen has an easel with a light sketch on it, and the pallette has changing cursor over green, red and yellow.
Those banners in the background look a little suspicious, especially the blue one.

Go left; see the picture of a smirking king/prince on the wall, and realise he's probably the one who trapped you in here.
The Throne decorations are clickable, from green to red.
The ship has a grey feather on its flank and there's no other cursor change here, but the pattern of flowers on the table legs looks "unbalanced", so it's probably a clue. [note down or commit to memory.]

Memory is the second thing to go when you get old; I can't remember what the first thing is.

Go left.
Cheese, 3xdigit code, shapes and lever, all change cursor.

Next left is a locked iron maiden [a torture device in medieval times], a locked cuff on a chain holding a grey ring, and spiked wheels on the wall that slide up and down. The table leg pattern will fit here, so slide them into position and get a knife.

Next left is another suspicious banner, so note the numerals and their colours. Cursor changes over the upper right knobble here.
The grey device next to the door changes the cursor, and so does the un-set mouse trap by the mouse hole.
With the bunting here, I wondered if it was a clue for the throne buttons, but those have no blue =S

Remembering the cheese, go right twice and knife a slice of cheese off.
[Don't look at me; Zazie cut the cheese first! *chortle*]
Progress! You know what to do with this, so feed Mousey by putting the cheese on the trap. Poke him in his little wary eyes to reassure him [haha] and collect the feather that he thanks you with.

Left twice, plop feather onto the ship and collect a wooden keyhole [description calls it "wodden", but we all know a blatant typo when we see one].

Left once to put the numbers from the banner onto the fireplace. In the same order of red, yellow, green.

Thinking the lever should move now, try it and fail.
Remember the colours on the pallette, and try the shapes in the same order, G,R,Y, and the lever works!
Grab the key and dash to unlock the iron maiden, ponder about the spike that changes the cursor and try gougeing with the knife. Experimenting with this in the same view produces the grey ring from the ankle cuff [called "metal chain"], which fits into the circle next to the barred door.
And that's where your progress ends.

After much clicking sideways to the other views and head-scratching and lip-drumming, decide to use the three objects in the inventory on everything in a fit of desperate vandalism..
Thankfully, the odd blue banner in the start view falls in half, revealing a key.

But then that's it.
Decide to resort to comments, knowing that without a hint for the throne buttons you're getting nowhere fast. Mute the game because that little loop is driving you frankly nuts after all this frustration.
Trawl comments, blundering into all sorts of things you haven't discovered yet; see that everyone seems to find the throne buttons solution obvious; feel inferior because you just aren't getting it; realise this often seems to happen when you get stuck early on in an escape; go off and sulk because you like the medieval series and are ashamed that this one beat you, and now you know the end anyway; think "When I can write games, I'll - I'll - ........"

lol @ Rookwings :)
That was hilarious!

I'm glad you liked the game guys and gals.
Best regards.

LOL @Rookwings!

That was the cutest "walk into"!

However, this is a "walk OUT OF" for me. I never got the combination correct for the 3 digit thing and the lever. Even with "walk into" help.

Busted

I'm in the same boat as 4red3s there. The fireplace code WILL NOT WORK. I have the triangle as red, the circle as green, and the rectangle as yellow and the numbers 346 in that order. According to the palette, the order is green-red-yellow, which is 346. No dice. Either the game is broken, or the walkthrough didn't explain something.

Errrrmmm, what walkthrough?
Or, to put it another way, who do I have to bribe or torture to find out what the clue for the throne is???

As for the hints in my walk-in, I gave hints to leave some initiative for stuck gamers, instead of spoilers.
To quote myself:
"Left once to put the numbers from the banner onto the fireplace. In the same order of red, yellow, green.

Thinking the lever should move now, try it and fail.
Remember the colours on the pallette, and try the shapes in the same order, G,R,Y, and the lever works!"

This means you have to look at the roman numerals, which are a four, a three and a six in a vertical order. Transferring this to a left-right order, enter 4-3-6.
The colours on that banner are just to make players think twice about the shapes, but they helped me describe where to place them without giving the game completely away. =)

The shapes:
The false clues got me for a while, so I simply tried the order of paint blobs on the pallette, which worked for me, and works every time.
The order of paint blobs, left to right, is green-red-yellow, transfer this to a vertical order to get a green triangle, red circle, and a yellow rectangle.
The game is not broken, DanManX , and I can't imagine how you got 3-4-6, when the number order and colour order are two separate entries and therefore from two separate clues? I didn't mention that outright, but I wasn't exactly hiding it, either. =D

To Cafe_Cafe:
Thanks for your praise, but I still feel silly at not "seeing" a throne clue =S
Still, Mousey and I are happy to wait until some kind soul gives us a hint?
Please?

To finish up the walkthrough, click on the lowest, middle log in the stack of logs to receive a hint, which is then used for the throne to unveil the gear which can then be used to finish the game

To Caleb:
You are a darling! Thank you for that, except that I feel ten times as silly for missing it. =)
...Convinced I'd looked everywhere - blah-de-blah-de-blah...
So, Caleb, where do I send the ransom money? ;P

For anyone who needs the fireplace puzzle spelled out(like me), you need to do two things here. You need to click on the shapes to change the colors to match the painting after you've filled in the colors. Triangle = green, circle = red, rectangle = yellow. Then enter code 436 and pull the lever.

last remaining WAKTGHROUGH where everyone has left it:

knife on log (middle bottom)
colour code on throne
cog next to barred door
key hole next to barred door (same place)
last remaining key and OUT
