Well, I found a dagger and apparently stabbed a guard with it! Honest, Judge, this was not intentional!
Now I have all sorts of stuff. Am trying to incapacitate the camels with wine, but not really getting very far...

I have a bomb, which is not impressing the one-eyed chap, and a pail and rope but can't find my way back to the croc-infested pool. I'm finding the navigation hard! Will no-one come and lead me out?
Oh found the pool again - you have to head upwards - and have my pail full of water. No clue what to do with it though.
Ah - you fill your waterskin. I already tried that unsuccessfully at the pool.
The lake is to the right of the camel, I think. You can pass by the quard with the robe.
Mary, you need a rope tied to the basket.
I found it again, thanks, Antonia! But I'm stuck now. I have a bomb, a full waterskin, a burqa and a jug of wine.
Aaargh I don;t have a basket! I tied my rope to the pail. Going hunting again!
Mark the burqa and pass by the guart and go in the next tent.
I've been in the tent with the one-eyed man, but he doesn't want my wine.
If you have full waterskin you should have already taken the basket.
Oh.. by basket do you mean bucket? That's OK then! But I'm still stuck LOL.

get cup, fill it up with wine and give it to the tent man
Ohhh finally! There is a cup in one of the trunks in the second scene, which you can fill with wine to knock out the one-eyed man (he has a remarkably weak head, it seems). Now onwards with a camel halter :o)
My camel is bridled and I have the waterskin, but am left with a bomb - where to put it???

Well you do very well, Antonia, I would not be able to try to help anyone in another language than my own! I was just confused as there were baskets lurking around in the scenes - I thought I'd missed something LOL.

walkthrough
take dagger in tent and kill guard with it
go out, open box in front and take cup
go left, take firebrand and pail
go right twice, take rope on tent
go left, behind, and left, take jug with wine and gunpowder & barrell
go right twice, use rope with pail and get water
take water skin and get water from pail
go left thrice, take yashmak
go right twice, down, and right
use yashmak to go in
combine wine with cup and give it to one-eyed man
take bridle from wall behind
combine gunpowder with firebrand and make a bomb
put bomb near man
go down, left and up, put bridle and waterskin on camel and out
I had a lot of trouble getting the water -- firebrand didn't frighten away crocodiles! Click on the leaning palm tree to get pail in water, then pull it back out.
