Looks like steering wheel is clue for number code - can't figure it out though. Going for darker lines gives only 5 digits. Anyone else got a clue?

No, there's a view on top of a tree palm on the first screen. Second from left. I'm out now and never used it.

What to do with the axe?
Use the axe on the door in the second view.
You use it on the wooden door in the yatch view to get a red triangle.
Yes, quite easy - I'm already out. Not so obvious for me ;-). Had fun too. Sometimes a bit in trouble to find other views...

No idea, but they aren't hard to solve in these games. Always logical without having to guess.
first view, zoom in on the left pool and then it is on the bottom left of the screen.

Just cannot get the steering wheel clue right - have done it several times. Very frustrating as the rest seems so easy!

Thank you for the location of the word clue, can't see such tiny print on a widescreen TV. This game isn't as good as the others in this series, which have all been 5 stars.
zoom in on the right pool -- get the green key from the deck
Zoom in on the deck at the right edge of the island -- get the blue key from the edge of the water
Zoom in on the brown bench behind the round pool
Get the red key
Zoom on the bottom of the house (middle under the overhang)
Solve the red, green, and blue lock puzzles
Get the bolt cutters, yellow key, and orange key
Solve the yellow lock for the trowel
Solve the orange lock for the purple key
Solve the purple lock for the black key
Turn around to face the yacht view
Click the red flowers below the left palm in the center of the screen
USe the trowel on the orange spot (down left of the trunk) for the left triangle
Zoom in on the bow of the yacht
Use the bolt cutters on the anchor chain
Zoom on the reeds on the right side of the house -- Get the axe
Zoom on the door of the house (still in yacht view)
Use the axe on the dark wood on the door for the right triangle
Zoom on the top of the center of the yatch
Place the 2 triangles and use the key to escape! (only works if you cut the anchor chain)

Zoom on the trees to the right of hte round pool. Note hte word on the left edge of the screen on the darker deck. SPOILERRICHARDSONSPOILER

Purple Lock
Zoom on the middle of the yatch -- note the spokes of the boat's wheel are lighter and darker. The arrow at the top center tells you where the top is.
Going from the top being 12: 12 white, 1 white, 2 white 3 dark, 4 white, 5 dark, 6 white, 7 white, 8 white, 9 dark, 10 white, 11 dark
