Finally a new game. Hope it was worth waiting for.
So far I have what looks like a cane or crowbar but is being called a jack
I can't remember, in this game, do items need to be blue or green to use them?
Used:
jack, wooden panel, layla key; now going to the elevator.
Found a crowbar and used it on right door frame to find a wooden board. Used this on the left plant to get the hint for the colors above the shelf.
Items have to be blue.
Hint for elevator is in the first view.
Finally got a live game.
For those like me who can't remember, items need to be blue to use them

@Zazie, 901 worked for me to start elevator, not sure why, I was just pressing buttons and it worked

@roberto, colors in pink bedroom behind a leaf of the plant.
I think 901 works because behind the lobby desk it shows 900 and 902 and the middle number is hidden
I think I must have used my knife on the plant, since its gone now.
@Roberto, you need to use the knife to trim the plant
Got the red square from using the colors behind the plant and now in a room on 2nd floor, using the left elevator.
apt 4 forgot to lock the door! lots of color changes here, and odd keys...

@nokra, for the knife use the 3 digit code on 3rd floor in the wall safe. Code is seen on a wall on bottom floor.

@Zazie, have you found the plant for the knife? It's in the pink bedroom, which I think is on the 1 floor on the right and requires a key...
@zazie, did you change the bars above the mirror on floor 1? Use the clue by the clock on floor 3.
Then get a key that opens a door with another color clue. It will give you a green triangle that opens the door where you can use the knife.

@SwissMiss, you should know by now that we can escape lots of difficult situations, but we can NEVER escape the advertisements!

@Zazie, all the color codes get entered back at the front desk
@Zazie, the color codes are used in the very first scene with the desk, where you got the crowbar. Click the squares above the empty shelves.

@Dorthe, you get the knife from the safe on 3rd floor, using numbers from the wall on floor.
*code from wall on floor 0, that is.
581 is code for 3 floor !

WALKTHROUGH
To open the game, click the small picture with a pink bed. To use your items, click them in inventory and make sure the background is blue.
Click the stem of the plant to the left of the desk to get a CROWBAR (jack).
Note the phone numbers on the wall.
Note the 5 squares above the empty shelves – changes color if you click them.
Turn right.
Use the crowbar at the white wood between the door and the right plant to get a PIECE OF WOOD.
Use the wood on the left plant pot to see 5 colors.
Note the number on the wall to the left of the door: 581 (from up to down).
Turn left.
Click the squares above the empty shelves to enter the colors from behind the plant.
(white, black, orange, orange, white).
Get a LAYLA KEY (pink circle).
Go left.
Use the layla key above the arrows of the right elevator to open the door and enter.
Write the correct 3-digit code for the elevator to work.
Hint: missing phone number from wall.

Go to Floor 3.
Enter the correct code for the wall safe and press the handle of the safe to get a KNIFE.
Hint: wall on floor 0

Go right and note the gray shapes above the wall clock.
Go back to the elevator and to Floor 1.
Change the bars on the wall above the mirror (left of elevator).
Use the clue from above the clock on floor 3:
horizontal, horizontal
vertical, diagonal (upper left to lower right)
Get BLUE KEY #1.
Go right and use the blue key to open apartment no 2.
See a new color code .
Go back to Floor 0.
Turn right and enter the new color code to get a GREEN TRIANGLE.
(white, orange, white, black, yellow).
Go to Floor 3.
Turn right and use the green triangle to open the left door.
Use the knife on the plant in the corner to see a third color code.
To Floor 0 again.
Enter the third color code ( black, brown, yellow, orange, white - from up to down) to get a RED SQUARE.
Go left and use the red square on the left elevator.
Go to Floor 2 using this elevator.
Turn right and enter apartment no 4 (no key needed).
Take a PENCIL from the glass table and note a fourth color code.
Exit this room and use the pencil on the wall poster between apartment no 3 and apartment no 4.
Get a SCREWDRIVER below the poster.
Turn left and use the screwdriver above the chair.
Get a CARD.
Go right and into apartment no 4 again.
Use the card on the machine to the right in the room, next to the fish tank.
Get a BLUE KEY #2.
Go to Floor 0.
Turn right and enter the fourth color code (brown, white, black, brown, yellow) to get an ORANGE SHAPE.
Go right again.
Use the orange shape to the left of the exit door, then use the blue key in the door to escape.

Hahaha... @nokra, I'm glad to admit that rumor is a bit far from the truth... I know about the first 6 digits and somehow it never felt important to learn more of them :) Brains or not, it's always fun to be around and play together!!
