Terror for Treasure
Terror for Treasures is another point and click adventure type room escape game. Three kids dare each other to visit a spooky house. One bravely accepts this challenge, however the door is locked behind him. Visit the different rooms in the house, interact with the objects, pick up the essential objects to use to gain a key to the final door. Objects can be combined with each other by dragging them onto each other, so think logically. When the door locks on you, a trigger is started that starts the collapse of the house. bugs me think's.....the plates keep on dropping out the cupboard...picked the matches up out the drawer...when i go back in the room thyre in the drawer again
get cup from kitchen, put water and and put cup eith water on fireside and got a key. and stuck... also have a match... cant get to right room or upstairs

Ugh... quite a buggy game...moving from room to room.. and I'm losing the last key I got for the door.. Let Me Out Of Here!!!
I put out the fire and he keeps saying OW! OW!... I'll think I'll go back to work and check to see if anyone manages their way out a bit later... bye
My game is full of bugs.
The first time I couldn't go in the right room and when I took water from the kitchen it the cup was empty as soon as I went out of the kitchen.
The second time I started the game I could go in the right room, but not in the kicthen.
a buggy game, i open two windows of this game, one i can go to right room, another to kitchen... but also stuck... I will be back later...
The game is suddenly over! Opened door with 4 keys and got "congratulations -- you won". Didn't use hammer or mug/water and didn't get mouse key.... is there another ending? I think the doors open when something has been achieved.

hi, I took a knife but do not know where to use it
OK...round 2 of Terror (mild, at best) for Treasure (my treasure will be getting out in spite of the bugs!).. here I go...
I keep breaking the crockery and knocking down the suit of armour - but still have only two keys. Can't catch that pesky mouse, and can't go in the farthest left door on either floor.
Have an unused hammer, fishing rod, paper saying 'hint' and cupboard with numbers in, but am baffled.

Ok, figured this out...there are "deadends" that depend which room you choose first.
Here is what I did:
1. Go into the dining room on the right
2. Look behind the cabinet on the right
3. Get fireplace tools (shovel)
4. Exit room and go into Study (across the hall)
Don't go into the kitchen (deadend)
5. Use the shovel on the fire and get key#1
6. Go to table & get matches from right drawer
7. Go back to dining room and light candles
8. Get key#2 and exit room
Don't use keys on door yet
9. Go upstairs and go into the bathroom
(door next to suit of armor)
10. Drain the tub & take key
11. Exit room and go into Library across the hall
12. Use bath key on desk and get key#3
13. Get fishing rod from over desk
14. Exit room & go back to bath
15. Zoom in on toilet & use rod to get key#4
16. Go downstairs and use keys on door
17. Enjoy the treasure!

Someone please call an exterminator. This game is crawling with bugs. Could not access right room but could 2 left rooms. Reloaded could access right room but not kitchen. Buggy Buggy and more Buggy I rate this game a verrry Bad!

It is all full of bugs! I'm done with this. Grate graphics, though. I refreshed the game 3 times. Some objects always get stuck in the image.

There's another way of getting a key.
Pick up the quill (not zoomed in) in the upstairs library and then use it on the piece of paper on the desk. This gives the code for the box in the upstairs bedroom.
I still haven't found a place to use the hammer or caught the mouse.

Looks like an attempt was made to make multiple paths. I took the path mentioned above and had no problems. Tried going into the kitchen and seemingly dead-ended. BTW, the tab key highlights the hot spots.
what a buggy game. it could have been decent if the bugs were worked out. I couldn't get into dining the first time, then refreshed and couldn't get into kitchen the second time! Never even saw a bedroom! very frustrating to know that there were other rooms but too buggy to get in....
i guess i realized after trying it again that the game designer intended to lock you out of certain rooms depending upon which choices the player makes....can get out of the house by several different methods... still i really don't enjoy that....

I won't say it is bad..... It is not completed. Message to game designer: The multiple ending based on decisions made or path taken, is fine. However, you need to let the player know this up front. Then provide suitable clues to "guide" the player to the end of the game.
If you are not going to provide clues then do not penalize the player for clicking in the wrong place.
This game has potential but needs work.
And the REALLY irritating thing is that you have to watch the intro time and again, if you decide to reload. It wasn't particularly entertaining the first time around, and it went downward from there.
By the way, you can also get water in a cup from the kitchen and extinguish the fire to obtain a key, instead of using the shovel from the dining room. Still, it was all to confusing and annoying because certain doors simply don't work. And I couldn't even go upstairs the first time around.
