Have used the key and code on the door to get into the second room, gotten the remote and put in both batteries, have 4 sets of codes (one used to get into 2nd room, one a set of #s) and Ive literally tried the remote on every item in both rooms and nothing is working and there's no place to enter any codes. Getting frustrated.

meghan - I had the same problem - the AC is very much hidden - once you know where it is (2nd room above door) its easy
Where the screwdriver
@roz, you get the screwdriver from setting the temperature on the aircon. You need the remote, 2 batteries, and have poured whiskey in the glasses to see the temperature. The aircon is in 2nd room, above/between the doors (by ceiling).
WALKTHROUGH
Zoom on the flower pot to the left.
Click it again to take BATTERY #1.
Zoom on the right wreath, next to the TV.
Take a KEY from under the bells.
Zoom on the DVD-player and press the right on/off button.
Wait to see a 4-digit code show up: 3589.
Go down to see a new view.
Zoom on the right side of the couch.
Click the pillow to move it and take the KNIFE.
Zoom on the table.
Use the knife on top part of the bottle of whiskey.
Click to take the WHISKEY.
Use the bottle on the three glasses to see numbers on two of them: 30.
Click the door to the left.
Change the buttons above the lock to four numbers (from DVD-player).
Use the key in the lock to open.
Enter the second room.
Click the wall clock to take it.
Drag the clock into the game screen.
Take BATTERY #2 from the clock.
Turn around and zoom on the left door.
Take the REMOTE.
Drag it into the game screen.
Click the text that says “click me”, and do that again.
Place the two batteries in the remote and press the text again twice.
Zoom on the aircon above/between the two doors (behind the lamp).
Drag the remote to the aircon and click the up-arrow (next to TEMP).
Change the temperature until you get a SCREWDRIVER (temp as on wine glasses).
Turn around and zoom on the desk to the right.
Use the screwdriver in upper right part of it to get a KEY.
Turn around and zoom on the left door.
Use the key to escape.
