ok, have lighter, whisk, bowl, chopstick(?)/spoon with green stuff on it. And ornate container that holds the green stuff ....

I am stuck!! I have three red numbers, one drop of green tea in the bowl, and can't get the whisk to stir the tea.
Didn't find the green number, but divided the red number by what I thought it had to be. It worked!! I'm out!!

Magnifying glass?
I am lost. I have a blue lighter, a thing that looks like the thing you hit in batmitten, a bowl, a stick with a curved end that now has a little green blob, and a round container that the little green blob came from.
It looks like I have to put these items on a flat surface to use. But none of them will do anything right now.
Also, I see mentioned in previous comments that there are red numbers and a green number. I have not seen any "red" or "green" letters or numbers anywhere.

Well, trying not to machine gun post... but it appears that I really am alone in this game. :)
A tiny language barrier: There is a rectangle in your inventory area. I was reluctant to click it as it might be an add or quit or some other terminating thing.
It is the "view items" button. That is how you see and use your inventory items.
I never found the magnifying glass and never saw the "green" number. However, I used the lighter after I lit it on the ... thing ... beneath the banner. It lighted up 3 red numbers. I noticed that this number is divisible by 5 and tried it because of the formula on the back of the plate. red divided by green.
And it worked.

Escape from Washitsu... Walkthrough
Click on the vertical banner, and notice there's something under it. So, click it again and quickly click on the "thing" under to get it... This is a key.
On the lower-left corner of the screen, click on the thing to get it (this is a kinda cooking shuffler). Between rug and wall, to the right, lays a wooden spoon, which looks like a chopstick. Get it.
Select the key from your inventory, and click on the cupboard to the right. It opens, and you can get a bowl. Now click on the decorative plate to raise it, and take the key which was under. Now click on the plate itself to return it, and notice the signs (Indicating 'red divided by green') .
Click on the red floor, in front of the rug. You get another view, facing a table. On the lower right corner, you can get a lighter. On the table is a purple pot. Take it too.
From your inventory, select the lighter, then 'about item' (yellow button on the right) and click on its top part, to light it. Now select the purple box and 'aboutitem' it. Click on its lid to open it. Select your 'chopstick' from inventory and click on this green paste... Now your chopstick has some green stuff on it.
Select bowl now, 'about item' again, and place your green stick inside to fill it with. At least, select your bowl, and click on the warm water container (on the table) to see your bowl now fully filled. Without getting out of this view, select the shuffler and... shuffle the hot mixture. Now it reveals you a green number (**SPOIL5ER**)
Go back to the main view, and use your lighter on the incense stick under the vertical banner. You can read a 3-digit number on it now. Notice it is red (**S8PO3IL5ER**). Now, go left.
You are facing a door, with a locked box next to it. Select your key and open the box. Remember the formula behind the plate : red divided by green. Do math and enter the number in the box, then press "OK". (**SP1OI6LE7R**)
Now click on the doorknob, then pass through...
